Eega (English: Housefly) is a Telugu, fantasy film written and directed by telugu director S S Rajamouli, released simultaneously in Tamil as Naan Ee and the Telugu version of the film was also dubbed into Malayalam as Eecha and is to be dubbed into Hindi in 3-D as Makkhi. It stars Sudeep, Samantha and Nani. M. M. Keeravani composed the film's music while K. K. Senthil Kumar handled cinematography and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao helmed the editing. The state of the art Visual effects were supervised by Rahul Venugopal, Adel Adili and Pete Draper. The film's Telugu and Tamil version along with a dubbed Malayalam version released with over 1200 prints. Upon release, it received rave reviews and was an unusual and overwhelming success. The movie has also earned a place as one of the all time best earners in overseas markets.

Plot

Nani (Nani) is a young man who makes fireworks. He lives in a house opposite Bindu (Samantha), who is a micro artist and who also runs Project 511, an NGO. Nani is in in love with Bindu for two years and has been constantly showing his love for Bindu. Bindu too loves Nani back but plays hard to get and hides her love from him.

Sudeep (Sudeep) is a multi-millionaire industrialist who also happens to be a womaniser. He had even killed his wife for her money. One day, Bindu goes to Sudeep's office to see if he would like to donate money to her NGO. Sudeep is about to send her away, until he sees Bindu through the opening of his office door. He immediately lusts for her, and calls her into his office. Bindu, not knowing of Sudeep's true intentions, tells him all about her NGO, who donates INR 15 lakhs to it. Bindu thanks Sudeep, who asks her out to lunch.

At the restaurant, Bindu sees Nani and his friends installing fireworks across the street. Sudeep notices that Bindu keeps staring at Nani and becomes jealous. Later, when Sudeep and Bindu stop at a market, Nani also comes and walks with Bindu. Sudeep follows them the whole time. That night, Bindu works late and she needs an escort to go home, so she calls Nani who comes to her office and walks her home. At this point, Nani gives Bindu an idea to help finish a necklace she was working on and Bindu is finally ready to confess her love towards Nani. But just in front of Bindu's doorstep, and just after dropping her home, Sudeep kidnaps Nani and takes him to a graveyard, where he beats him mercilessly. He tells Nani that he loves Bindu. Nani tells Sudeep that if he goes anywhere near Bindu, he will kill him. At this, Sudeep strangles Nani to death, right after Bindu tells Nani she loves him through a text and a phone call. Upon hearing that Bindu loves him too, Nani dies. But then, he is reborn as a fly.

After getting used to his new life as a fly, and experimenting with his new abilities, Nani ends up in Sudeep's office. After he sees Sudeep, Nani remembers his past life and wants to take revenge on Sudeep for what he had done. He keeps following Sudeep around, irritating him to the core. Meanwhile, Bindu is grieving the death of Nani, and Sudeep is still trying to make Bindu love him.

One day, Sudeep calls Bindu to her office and asks her to come to Delhi with him to meet the Education Minister, who is planning to nationally recognise Bindu's NGO. Bindu agrees. Nani notices this and causes Sudeep to meet with an accident while he is driving to the airport. Sudeep, lying injured in his wrecked car, sees Nani write the words "I will kill you". From that point, Sudeep starts fearing Nani the fly, becomes paranoid about it and tries all means to ensure Nani does not enter his house.

Later, Nani arrives at Bindu's house, who is still thinking about him. Nani uses Bindu's tears on her desk to write out the words, "I am Nani". He then shows Bindu that it was Sudeep who killed him, and that he was reborn as a fly. Bindu realises Sudeep's true nature and teams up with Nani the fly, using her skills as a micro artist to make Sudeep's life a living hell. Bindu discreetly allows Nani to enter Sudeep's house, and Nani wreaks havoc on him, including burning all of his wealth. A terrified Sudeep then consults Tantra, a sorcerer, who tells him that Nani, whom he had killed, was reborn as a fly and is planning to kill him. Tantra performs a 'homa' in Sudeep's house to kill Nani. But Nani escapes and causes a short circuit, leaving Tantra dead and Sudeep unconscious.

Next morning, Sudeep regains consciousness and finds out that Bindu and Nani are working together to kill him by seeing a CCTV video in which Bindu allowed Nani in his house. Enraged, Sudeep brings Bindu to his house and starts abusing her. He also clips Nani's wings and stabs it with a needle. A dying Nani then sacrifices its life by jumping through a lighted matchstick, inflaming itself and entering a loaded cannon, which fires up and kills Sudeep.

Bindu, grieving the fly's death, makes a necklace using the only remainder of Nani the fly- its wing. While going to work, an eve-teaser abuses her, only for a fly to attack him. This fly is none other than Nani, reborn again as a fly, to protect his love Bindu forever.

Rajanna

Rajanna is a 2011 Telugu historical, drama film starring Akkineni Nagarjuna and Sneha in the lead. It was directed by noted story writer Vijayendra Prasad, father of S.S. Rajamouli. The film, based on the Razakars movement and freedom fighter Suddala Hanmanthu was released on 22 December, 2011 to positive reviews and critical acclaim, with soundtrack composed by National Film Award winner M. M. Keeravani. The film has done well at box office. Rajanna, even after being considered as an off-beat movie, has managed to get good opening at the Box Office.

Plot

The film is set in the Nelakondapalli village of Adilabad district in Nizam Princely State of Hyderabad of the late 1940s. The feudal society is under the vice-like grip of an aristocratic family and its head, a Dorasani (Shwetha Menon). Mallamma (Baby Annie) is the darling of the village, who is living in perpetual humiliation. They seek solace in her songs. Brought up by Sambayya, an old man, she develops a mysterious attachment to a basil tree which is regarded as holy by the entire village.
She happens to sing a song in the Dorasani's house which enrages her. Since nobody can have a skill which her daughter has not been able to acquire, she decrees that Mallamma cannot sing if she wants to be alive. However, singing is in her very marrow. After all, she is the daughter of Rajanna, who had inspired hundreds of villagers to revolt against the evil lords through his revolutionary songs.
When the Dorasani finds Mallamma singing for another time, she decides to hound her and kill. The grandpa wants to take her away, but Mallamma refuses to oblige. It is then when she tells him that she cannot abandon the village where she Rajanna meets her every day. Dorasani, who overhears Sambayya telling her that she is Rajanna's progeny, kills him. A heroine that she is, Mallamma stages an escape with the help of the music teacher (Nassar) and sets off to Delhi to meet Nehru (Prime minister). The Rajanna story
After killing over a hundred British officers, Rajanna (Akkineni Nagarjuna) is a proud son of a free India. Much to his dismay, he finds the villagers of Nelakondavalli still in servitude and radicalises them to massacre the oppressors. The revolution spreads to hundreds of villages and the nawabs are shaken. Unable to repress the warfare on their own, the local lords seek the help of the evil Razakars.
Ever at the forefront to save the village, Rajanna leads a guerrilla warfare with his four comrades (a Muslim, a Tamil Brahmin, a Punjabi and a Maharashtrian) and achieves martyrdom after fighting hundreds of Razakar desperadoes to the finish.
Rajanna lives on in the memories of the people of Nelakondavalli. His spirit arouses Mallamma to put up a never-say-die attitude and rid the village of the beastly doras.

Maryada Ramanna

Maryada Ramanna (Telugu: మర్à°¯ాà°¦ à°°ామన్à°¨) is a Telugu comedy thriller film directed by S.S. Rajamouli starring Sunil and Saloni in lead roles. This is the second film for Sunil as a hero. The film opened to favorable reviews by critics and turned out to become a super hit.

STORY

faction feud in Rayalaseema results in the end of the death of Ramineedu’s (Nagineedu) brother and he along with his two sons (Supreeth, Venugopal) vow for revenge. Time turns 28 years and comes to Hyderabad. Here lives Ramu (Sunil), an innocent and somewhat unlucky guy whose parents are no more and is ousted out of his job. His life takes a turn with a correspondence that he has got five acres of land in his hometown in Rayalaseema region. He decides to sell that land and sets off to the village. In this process, he also meets Aparna (Saloni) who is the daughter of Ramineedu. However, much to Ramu’s bad luck, he happens to be the son of the man who killed Ramineedu’s brother and he ends up in their home itself.He takes advantage of a tradition of their house that not even one drop of blood should fall inside the house. Whether he comes alive out of their hands or not forms the rest of the story.

Plot

The story is told in a series of flashbacks, starting with the present time, 2009. Harsha (Ram Charan Teja) is a stunt lover and ekes out his living by taking part in bike races and stunts. He happens to meet Indu (Kajal Agarwal) and whenever he touches her, he is reminded of something that happened in the past. He falls in love with her and she reciprocates the love. Indu's father fights a legal battle for Udaygadh kingdom as it was his ancestral property. His brother-in-law enjoys the property illegally. The latter's son Raghuveer (Dev Gill) is spellbound by Indu's beauty and goes to their home and promises to return the entire property with the view of marrying Indu. Raghuveer's guru Ghora (Rao Ramesh) tells him that he just cannot win Indu as long as Harsha is alive. On learning that Indu's father accepted her love towards Harsha, Raghuveer kills the father and implicates Harsha in the murder. Later, Raghuveer takes Indu away to Udaygadh. Though Harsha tries to explain the truth to Indu, she doesn't believe him. In the process, Harsha drops from the helicopter and falls in a pond only to be saved by Solomon (Sri Hari Raghumundri). Now it was Harsha's turn to prove his innocence and remind Indu of their reincarnation.

The story dates then goes back four centuries, to be precise, to 1609 AD. There is a kingdom called Udaygadh in Rajasthan ruled by a King Vikram Singh (Saratbabu). Mitravinda (Kajal Agarwal) is his only daughter. Ranadev Bhilla (Dev Gill) is her cousin. Kala Bhairava (Ram Charan Teja) is a warrior who trains the army of the kingdom. His family has lived under the curse that any warrior will not live for more than 30 years, and will not accept death until he has killed a hundred enemies in the battle. He is also the personal caretaker of the royal family.

Ranadev eyes Mitravinda and wants to get the kingdom by marrying her. But the princess loses her heart to Bhairava. In order to win her hand, both Ranadev and Bhairava take part in a contest and Bhairava emerges the winner. The king, who knows about the curse, requests Kala Bhairava to reject the hand of princess as he does not want his daughter to live the life of a widow. Ranadev turns traitor and joins hands with Sher Khan (Sri Hari Raghumundri). He invades the kingdom and kills the king. Later, Ranadev and Sherkhan reach the place where Bhairava and Mitravinda are offering prayers to Lord Siva. Sher Khan challenges Bhairava to save the princess from his men. Bhairava courageously attacks and kills 100 soldiers. Sher Khan accepts defeat and is impressed by Bhairava's courage. Bhairava kills Ranadev but Ranadev stabs Mitravinda. During her last moments, Mitravinda requests Bhairava to proclaim his love for her. They both fall off the cliff and the last words between them remain unsaid. The unproclaimed love of Kala Bhairava and Mithravinda and the unfulfilled wishes of Ranadev have made them take another birth four centuries later. The final showdown is more of a battle between true love and lust, where love emerges the winner.

Plot

Raja(Jr. NTR), an orphan, is a ruthless robber. He dreams of earning a fast buck so that he can settle down in life. And then, he stumbles on a fine opportunity. Mahi (Priyamani), a rich heiress, falls in love with him. The girl happens to be his childhood well-wisher and has always considered him her prince.

He plans to surrender the girl to a gang who wants to kill her for her riches. But the villains play foul, and kill him. Raja reaches Yamaloka. He creates confusion in Yamaloka by stealing Yamapasam since one in possession of Yamapasam will become Yama. The rest of the story is all about how Yama (Mohan Babu) and Raja try to outsmart each other. After regaining power, Yama sends Raja back to earth, but only to take away his life once again.

Chhatrapati (Telugu: ఛత్రపతి) is a 2005 Telugu film (dubbed into Malayalam with the same title) written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Prabhas plays the lead role and Shriya Saran, Bhanupriya, and Pradeep Rawat appear in other roles. The film released on 29 September 2005, it was dubbed into Hindi as Hukumat Ki Jung. Film is currently being remade in kannada with the name Chatrapathi (2012 film) with Siddhanth and Priyadarshini in lead roles. Now it will be dubbed on to tamil as Chandramouli

Chhatrapati (Telugu: ఛత్రపతి) is a 2005 Telugu film (dubbed into Malayalam with the same title) written and directed by S. S. Rajamouli. Prabhas plays the lead role and Shriya Saran, Bhanupriya, and Pradeep Rawat appear in other roles. The film released on 29 September 2005, it was dubbed into Hindi as Hukumat Ki Jung. Film is currently being remade in kannada with the name Chatrapathi (2012 film) with Siddhanth and Priyadarshini in lead roles. Now it will be dubbed on to tamil as Chandramouli

Plot

Shivaji (Prabhas) and Ashok (Shafi) are the sons of Parvati (Bhanupriya). Shivaji is her stepson, but Parvati showers equal affection on both of them and this is not liked by Ashok, who is her real son. They are one of the families living on the coastals of Srilanka. One day, this village is forced to evacuate and Shivaji is separated from the family. He ends up in a different boat and lands in Vizag port. He is brought up in the port itself. But his search for his mother never ceases. In that process he comes across Neelu (Shriya).
Here, the port is dominated by Baji Rao (Narendra Jha) and some goons using refugee labor for their own gain. Shivaji is an aggressive guy, but is controlled by his well wishers. One day, he reacts aggressively in defense of himself and the other refugees. The people start calling him Chhatrapati. Ras Bihari (Pradeep Rawat) comes down to Vizag in the hunt for Shivaji since he killed his brother Baji Rao(Narendra Jha). Also, Ashok lands in the same place. Realizing that Shivaji is his brother, he joins hands with the bad guys. The story is then of Chatrapati's who is searching for his mother and has a bunch of bad guys including his brother on his back while the entire port looks up to him.

Sye

Sye (Telugu: à°¸ై) is a Telugu (dubbed in Malayalam as Challenge) film which released on 23 September 2004 and was directed by S.S. Rajamouli. This is his third film after the success of both Student No.1 and Simhadri. This film has a rugby union backdrop. Nitin Kumar Reddy and Genelia D'Souza play the lead roles.

STORY

Prithvi (Nitin) & Shashank (Shashank) are the leaders of two warring students groups in a Hyderabad college. They are fond of rugby union game and they sort the things out between them by playing rugby to prove superiority. One fine day, a local mafia leader Bhikshu Yadav (Pradeep Rawat) gets a court notice that he has purchased the land of college from its legal heirs. The groups of Prithvi and Sashank unite together by forgetting differences to fight a united cause of winning back the land for college. After getting affected by assaults of students, Bhikshu Yadav throws a challenge to defeat his team in a game of rugby union to win back the land for their college. The rest of the story is all about how Prithvi leads his team to the victory.

Plot

Aditya (NTR) joins a law college in Vizag as a student. The law college is notorious for its unruly students headed by Satya (Rajeev Kanakala). Aditya is shown as a young mysterious man and throughout the first half there are several flashbacks to his story. He makes the unruly students mend their ways. In the interval, we come to know that Aditya is a criminal facing murder charges and is serving his life term in Vizag central jail. He attends the college with a special permission from the jail authorities.

Aditya lives in Hyderabad with his parents. He has finished his intermediate studies (10th grade plus 2). He wants to pursue engineering but his father wants him to study law. This presents a tension between them, leading to a confrontation. Meanwhile, Aditya unintentionally murders a goon while saving a girl from getting raped. Aditya's father disowns him as his son and Aditya surrenders at a police station.

The rest of the film is how Aditya wins the heart of his father with the law degree he earns.
