Mr. Pellikoduku opened to Mixed Reviews from the critics. The Hindu gave a review stating "Mr. Pellikoduku is a hotchpotch remake. Re-visit Tanu Weds Manu instead." IBN Live gave a review stating "Mr Pellikoduku, the remake of 'Tanu weds Manu' fails to recreate the magic." The Times of India gave a review stating "Forget Tanu Weds Manu was ever made and you might be able to see the funny side of it all." Sify.com gave a review stating the movie to be a "unsatisfying remake". Rediff.com gave a review of rating 2/5 stating "Mr Pellikoduku has all the badly written additions woven into it. The music isn't appealing eithert. The Telugu version sadly fails and scores on no account." Oneindia Entertainment gave a review of rating 2.5/5 stating "Overall, Mr Pellikoduku is a poor remake of Tanu Weds Manu, but you can still watch and enjoy it." APHerald.com gave a review of rating 2/5 stating "With unimpressive technical team, poor efforts by lead pair Mr. Pellikoduku killed the natural & fresh feel which 'Tanu Weds Manu' had in it. It's better to buy 'Tanu Weds Manu' DVD than buying Mr. Pellikoduku ticket."

Plot

Appalraju (Sunil) from Amalapuram is a movie buff. He spends most of his day at Rambha theatre in Amalapuram watching films. When his father (Chalapati Rao) chides his for the same, he swears to come back to Amalapuram only after becoming a big director in Tollywood and heads to Hyderabad. In the city, he has a friend Subbulu (Rajesh) who has left Amalapuram years ago to become a hero in Telugu films but in vain. Through him, he attends an audio launch of a film where Appalraju makes contact with Raakhi (Raghu Babu), a producer who reads his script 'Nayaki' and decides to help him. Appalraju also manages to get the dates of heroine Kanishka (Saakshi) for the film. However, the manager at the firm which has to finance this film agrees to fund the project only if a big hero like 'Babu' stars in the movie. Though Babu and Kanishka are fall in love with each other, they break up once the project is set to take off

This film is the first of its kind in Indian cinema as it was shot with just 7 crew members and in a record of 5 days. Prior to filming, Varma announced that this film has no budget and that the cast and crew will not be taking remunerations until the film hits theaters. Puri Jagannadh is co-director while director S. Harish Shankar (Mirapakaya fame) is associate director. Music is by Sathyam while the Background Score has been rendered by Amar Mohile of Sarkar Raj fame.

Plot

A couple, Sudheer (Ravi Teja) and Rani (Charmme Kaur), is traveling in a car on a deserted road for friend’s marriage. They take a short cut to reach the venue when their car conks out and they end up in an old, dilapidated and a seedy resort. They meet a weird hotel staff member, Subbaraju, who claims that he is The Receptionist. He tells them that the hotel is full. Another guy, who calls himself The Manager (Supreet), tells them that one room is vacant and they are allotted room number 8. Inside the hotel Sudheer and Rani realize that the room has not been cleaned for many days. When they order for lunch, the resort staff bring the menu but they say that nothing is available. Sudheer shouts at the hotel staff and they tell him that he can take their car and drive to a nearby village where he can get a mechanic but they tell him that he cannot take his wife along with him. Sudheer gets irritated and asks them to get out. Soon, both hear some weird sounds from the next room. But to their surprise that adjacent room is locked. Sudheer slowly starts realizing that he and Rani are getting more and more trapped in a do or die situation.

When asked The Receptionist tells them that the source of the sound from the neighboring room is a Ghost. But The Manager says it is not a ghost but a thief. Frightened at their gestures, Sudheer and Rani try to get out of the resort, but the manager, receptionist and a servant (Brahmaji) hold them captive and keep Rani in room number 9 - the same room as the one with the Ghost. However, Sudheer and Rani manage to escape from them but are trapped in the same building. The three men at the resort are actually kidnappers working for a don who calls himself Munna Bhai. They have kidnapped a businessman Narayana Murthy (Brahmanandam) and locked him up in room number 9. To solve the kidnap mystery cops Shiva (Lakshmi Manchu) and Richard (Sunil) arrive at the resort feigning to convey the message that Munna Bhai has been arrested. What ensues now is a game of hide and seek as Sudheer, Rani and Narayana Murthy are now on the run. Finally, Prakash Raj arrives as a cop-on-duty to arrest The Mutha, later revealing himself to be the don Munna Bhai, the mastermind behind the kidnap.

Plot

Rishi (Ravi Teja) is an inspector in the Intelligence Bureau. His colleagues fondly call him 'Mirapakaay'. The chief of the IB, Narayana Murthy (Nagababu) gets information that Kittu Bhai (Prakash Raj), a mafia don, is trying to spread his tentacles in India and is targeting Delhi first. During the course of the investigation, ACP (Sanjay Swaroop) is killed by Shankar (Kota Srinivasa Rao), a local goon with the help of his son (Supreet).

Murthy sends Rishi to Hyderabad and gets him admitted to a college as a Hindi lecturer as part of an undercover operation. Rishi meets Vinamra (Richa Gangopadhyay) at a temple & falls in love at first sight. Incidentally, she studies in the same college and in the same class to which Rishi teaches Hindi. Their love blossoms. At this juncture, Vaishali (Deeksha Seth), daughter of Kittu Bhai, joins the same college. Grabbing the opportunity, the IB chief asks Rishi to extract information about Kittu from Vaishali.

Plot

Chanti (Ravi Teja) respects his uncle Rama Krishna (Ghattamaneni Sivarama Krishna) more than his father Purshrotam (Chandra Mohan). Rama Krishna has enmity with Umapathi (Pradeep Rawat) because of something that happened 20 years ago. Later, Chanti is kicked out of their house because of some misunderstandings and now Umapathi is ready to put Rama Krishna down. How Chanti secretly helps Rama Krishna in bringing the enemy down and reunites with his family forms the rest of the story.

Plot

Almost the entire first half is filled with Seenu’s (Ravi Teja) childhood and boyhood memories. The girl who first comes into his life is Vimala. She simply vanishes from his life after the tearful farewell both bid to each other after High school. This boyhood role is played by an adolescent of that age. But Mallika continued playing the girl Vimala, even in the latter part of the drama. The second episode begins after his father Sriram (Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao), a postmaster, is transferred to a village in Kerala. Seenu (Raviteja now) joins a college and gets close to a Malayalee girl named Latika (Gopika). He also meets another student Satyam (Sunil) who turns out to be a Telugu man to his comfort. Satyam serves him as a translator, as Seenu does not know the local language. Latika falls in love with Seenu just like that, for no reason. It is a kind of love at first sight. But that episode ends after her family members interfere and drive the postmaster family out of the village. Latika is then married off to local young man who set his eyes on her already. There are some skirmishes too. Seenu then comes back to Andhra and gets close to yet another girl named Divya (Bhoomika), working in an advertisement agency headed by one Prakash (Prakash Raj). Divya, in fact, secures this job for Seenu after seeing him and his friend Bhagavan (Krishna Bhagavan) distributing phamplets to the passengers in a bus, seeking job opportunities, hoping one of them may help them out in finding a job. Divya does exactly that and her boss gives him job instantly as he says he is impressed by the novel idea of distributing leaflets seeking job. This part of the story is driven to another corner, closing the gap between Seenu and Divya, by bringing into picture her ailing mother who finally dies leaving her daughter alone. This creates an opportunity for her to marry Seenu. But she says she wants to remain just a good friend. Now the last page of his story: He comes across yet another girl, Sandhya (Kanika) whom he finally weds. The film, in fact, opens showing Seenu moving out with wedding cards for this marriage and then going to the other three girls he loved earlier, one after the other, to invite them for his marriage. The rest of the film is his narration of events that took place before the final event was held.

Plot

Dongodu is an remake version of Malayalam movie Meesa Madhavan and this is an Family Darma based movie. Plot

Vishwanath (Prakash Raj) is a millionaire whose daughter is Anjali (Shriya Saran). Vishwanath loves his daughter very much. Rishi (Tarun) hails from a middle class family. His father played by Chandramohan owns a departmental store. He is a good hearted but happy-go-lucky guy. Anjali happens to join the college in which Rishi is her senior. Soon, they fall in love with each other. On one such occasion, Rishi takes her to Mumbai for dinner. Anjali fakes off the issue with her father that she was with her friend. But unfortunately, Vishwanath calls that friend up when Anjali was missing. He tells him that Anjali went to Mumbai with someone called Rishi. This is enough for Vishwanath's suspicion to rise that Anjali has fallen in love. He asks Rishi to prove his worth, and asks him in some way to earn any money so that he can support Anjali who he has brought up in riches. When Rishi refuses to comply, he gives Rishi one crore rupees to forget her daughter. Rishi takes it and later gives it back, insulting Viswanath, and tries to prove that his love is greater than everything. To retaliate, Vishwanath insults Rishi's family by getting a beggar for marriage with Rishi's sister to try to convey to them the pain he must feel. Rishi then creates a scene in Viswanath's office. Anjali starts to show more feelings for Rishi. Worried, Vishwanath tries to set Anjali's marriage with another guy. In the end, the marriage fails and Anjali marries Rishi...
