Plot

Srikanth and Sriram are best friends. Srikanth is the only son of Radhika and Raghuvaran who is interested in anything but his academics. He falls in love with Bhumika who also eventually happens to reside opposite their house with her loud-mouthed sub-inspector Mom, Rekha. With the responsibilities of a brother to get his sisters married Sriram leaves for Libya on a job received through Srikanth's parents. Before he leaves, he tells Srikanth that Bhoomika and himself are in love and asks Srikanth to look after his lover until he is back. Srikanth swallows his love secret for the sake of friendship. Meanwhile Rekha arranges for Bhumika to get married to Vijay Adhiraj for his wealth. At this juncture Bhumika and Srikanth lie that they are already married. They both leave their parents and Srikanth starts earning to support Bhumika. Finishing his job assignment Sriram returns only to give yet another family responsibility as an excuse. He apologizes for not being able to marry Bhumika as he is a tight corner to marry somebody else for the sake of his sister's marriage.

Plot

Almost the entire first half is filled with Seenu’s (Ravi Teja) childhood and boyhood memories. The girl who first comes into his life is Vimala. She simply vanishes from his life after the tearful farewell both bid to each other after High school. This boyhood role is played by an adolescent of that age. But Mallika continued playing the girl Vimala, even in the latter part of the drama. The second episode begins after his father Sriram (Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao), a postmaster, is transferred to a village in Kerala. Seenu (Raviteja now) joins a college and gets close to a Malayalee girl named Latika (Gopika). He also meets another student Satyam (Sunil) who turns out to be a Telugu man to his comfort. Satyam serves him as a translator, as Seenu does not know the local language. Latika falls in love with Seenu just like that, for no reason. It is a kind of love at first sight. But that episode ends after her family members interfere and drive the postmaster family out of the village. Latika is then married off to local young man who set his eyes on her already. There are some skirmishes too. Seenu then comes back to Andhra and gets close to yet another girl named Divya (Bhoomika), working in an advertisement agency headed by one Prakash (Prakash Raj). Divya, in fact, secures this job for Seenu after seeing him and his friend Bhagavan (Krishna Bhagavan) distributing phamplets to the passengers in a bus, seeking job opportunities, hoping one of them may help them out in finding a job. Divya does exactly that and her boss gives him job instantly as he says he is impressed by the novel idea of distributing leaflets seeking job. This part of the story is driven to another corner, closing the gap between Seenu and Divya, by bringing into picture her ailing mother who finally dies leaving her daughter alone. This creates an opportunity for her to marry Seenu. But she says she wants to remain just a good friend. Now the last page of his story: He comes across yet another girl, Sandhya (Kanika) whom he finally weds. The film, in fact, opens showing Seenu moving out with wedding cards for this marriage and then going to the other three girls he loved earlier, one after the other, to invite them for his marriage. The rest of the film is his narration of events that took place before the final event was held.

Plot

The film revolves around the story of three girls; Rehana (Tabu), a housewife who must confront the fact that her husband Anwar (Kay Kay Menon) is being unfaithful to her. Preeti (Celina Jaitley) and Zia (Bhumika Chawla), who are fast rising Bollywood actress' whose live-in relationship is about to break up with the mans who groomed her for a film career, Neel (Rahul Bose). Divya Dutta features in a pivotal supporting role. Anushka (Riya Sen) is a telephone receptionist who longs to discover tenderness in her relationship with a wealthy suitor Nikhil (Ashmit Patel). Meanwhile her office colleague, Tarun (Jimmy Shergill), loves her silently. The working girl must decide between the two in a romantic finale that has a twist in the tale. Natassha features in an impactful role. The three stories are weaved into a composite picture, with the woman coming together in an act of solidarity.

Plot

Yuvakudu is the story of a free spirited college student, Siva (Sumanth), who shares a very close bond with his mother, played by Jayasudha . Siva is the son of an army officer who's killed in the line of duty. Despite the disapproval of his mother, Siva secretly harbors a strong desire of following in his father's footsteps by joining the army. The fun loving youngster also falls in love with Sindhu(Bhumika) but the girl does not reciprocate his love. She rejects his marriage proposal and the relationship takes a negative tone. Knowing her son's love for Sindhu, Jayasudha takes the responsibility of bringing them together. She meets Sindhu who too takes an instant liking for Jayasudha. Jayasudha eventually asks Sindhu to marry her son. Sindhu accepts the proposal saying that she's doing so only for the sake of Siva's mother. Despite a rocky start to their marriage, their relationship finally settles down. However the story takes an unexpected turn when Siva is selected into the Army. He joins the army against the wishes of his mother and their relationship turns sour. How Siva eventually proves himself in the line of duty and reconciles with his mother forms the rest of the story.

Plot

Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa begins with Rishabh (Salman Khan) and Pari (Preity Zinta) who are deeply in love. He is a wealthy young man, working in an advertising agency while she is a hardworking, dedicated doctor. They marry and soon Pari is pregnant. Pari has a dream to create a hospital for children. Tragically, she is involved in an accident and dies in hospital. Pari's last wish was to donate her heart to her patient Dhani (Bhoomika Chawla). Rishabh is devastated and opposes the plan to donate the heart; he goes ahead with Pari's last request: the creation of a children's hospital.

Dhani is cured, much to the joy of her family and her grandmother (Helen). Rishabh has gone into depression but soon comes across Pari's project to build a hospital for children. He begins to develop the hospital. Soon enough Rishabh and Dhani come across each other, and she feels an instant attraction to him. Rishabh ignores her advances as he is still very much in love with Pari. Rishabh does not know that Pari's heart was given to Dhani but soon he realizes that. When he does, Dhani faints. While she is in the hospital, with doctors struggling to restart her broken heart, he falls in love with her. He tells her that he loves her, and if she loves him, she will pull through. She does, and the two get together.

Plot

The film is about Radhe Mohan (Salman Khan), a rowdy ex-college boy who, after a ragging (hazing) session, loses his heart to a first year student Nirjala (Bhoomika Chawla), a traditional Brahmin girl. Just when Nirjala reciprocates his love, Radhe is attacked by a gang of thugs, loses his mind and is admitted to an asylum.

Plot

Sathyanarayan Murthy (Chiranjeevi) is a rough but kind man who lives in Amalapuram with his niece, mother, sister and her husband. Sathya and his niece Lavanya share a special bond and are the best of friends. One day, Lavanya dies while playing on the swing.

Sathya later finds out that she has been murdered by gun dealer Raj Malhotra (Arbaaz Khan). He meets and falls in love with Shilaza (Samira Reddy). Sathyanarayan challenges Raj Malhotra and wants to go the US but cannot get a permanent visa because because he was not educated. He meets and marries Neelu (Bhoomika Chawla), then goes to the US and kills Malhotra.

Amaravathi

Amaravathi is a 2009 Indian Telugu-language thriller film written and directed by Anasuya fame Ravi Babu, starring Sneha and Bhoomika in lead roles, with Ravi Babu himself, Sindhura Gadde and Taraka Ratna essaying supporting roles. The film commenced from 26 July 2009 and was completed filming within a span of 4 months and the movie reportedly do not have any music charts but the background music was a plus for the film. It was released on 3 December 2009 to highly positive reviews.

Plot

The film begins in a village that was historically known to have been famous for pearls. Adolescent children, Seenu and Amaravathi, are friends who love to spend time at the village's lake, with the Seenu going on an endless search for pearls in the water for Amaravathi. While Amaravathi is the daughter of a rich man in the village, Seenu is the son of his maidservant. Amaravathi's father does not like the closeness Seenu shares with Amaravathi and warns his mother against their friendship. One day, after searching for hours, Seenu ultimately finds the 10 pearls in the lake, which he decides to take to Amaravathi. Amaravathi always wants 10 of everything - a detail that will later become an important clue in the mystery of the story.
Amaravathi's father beats Seenu when he sees him trying to get to her. Later, thinking that her father has left, Seenu goes up to Amaravathi's room. But the two are caught together by Amaravathi's father who suddenly returns. Upon seeing them having fallen down on top of each other by accident, Amaravathi's father suspects a physical relationship between the two, and so he slits the throat of Seenu. He then throws him into the lake, and runs Seenu's mother over with his jeep when she ran over to try to save her son.
After the credits roll, a series of macabre incidents are shown in which an unidentified person goes about cutting babies from the wombs of several 9-month pregnant mothers. Another parallel story is also revealed where Venkat (Ravi Babu) an Agent of the Special Task Force, has been taking care of his wife, Latha (Sneha), for the last fifteen months due to having a self-inflicted bullet injury. But soon, Venkat is enlisted by his superiors to take on the case of the womb-raider. It is later revealed that the criminal is now after Latha, who is also 9 months pregnant! The rest of the film deals with how the womb-raider is related to the story of Seenu (now portrayed by Taraka Ratnal) and Amaravathi (now portrayed by Bhumika Chawla), why the criminal is after Latha and how Venkat saves his wife and child from the criminal.

Snehamante Idera (Telugu: స్నేహమంటే ఇదేరా) (Dubbed into Hindi in 2007 as Naya Jigar) is a 2001 film directed by Bala Sekharan and produced by R.B. Chowdary. Aravind (Akkineni Nagarjuna), Chandru (Sumanth) and Krishna Murthy (Sudhakar) are childhood friends. Chandru and Krishna Murthy are orphans, who are generously brought up by the parents of Aravind. By the time they reach their 20's, Aravind's sister Amrita (Pratyusha) falls in love with Chandru. Chandru hesitates to love her, as she is the sister of his close friend. Chandru seeks the help of Krishna Murthy to avoid Amrita. After the entire episode, Aravind and Chandru go to Hyderabad to work with Krishna Murthy. When this trio is assigned to renovate an old palatial house, Aravind encounters Padmini (Bhoomika Chawla). A mischief by the jealous cousin sister of Padmini results Aravind falling for Padmini. When Padmini is about to get engaged to another guy, Chandru announces that Padmini cheated Aravind after loving him. The rest of the film is about how the two pairs (Arvind - Padmini and Chandru - Amrita) unite.

Bhoomika Chawla

Bhoomika Chawla (Hindi: भूमिका चावला; born Rachna Chawla on 22 August 1978) is an Indian actress. She made her film debut in the Telugu film Yuvakudu (2000) and has since then worked in various Indian film industries and appeared in over thirty films in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Bhojpuri, Punjabi and Malayalam. She is probably best known for her critically acclaimed performances in Kushi, Tere Naam, Missamma, Gandhi, My Father and Sathyabhama.

Personal life

Bhumika Chawla married her long-time boyfriend and Yoga teacher Bharat Thakur on 21 October 2007 at Devlali, Nashik in a Gurdwara. She went regularly to Thakur's courses and is said to have dated him for four years, before eventually marrying him. Bhumika has two siblings; one brother, who is an army officer, and one sister, both elder to her.
