Shock (Telugu: షాక్) is a 2006 Telugu film directed by Harish Shankar. The film stars Ravi Teja and Jyothika. It was produced by Ram Gopal Varma.

Plot

Sekhar (Ravi Teja) and Madhurima (Jyothika) are happily married couple who work for an advertising company. Nagesh (Subbaraju) and Divakar (Ravi Kale) are notorious encounter specialists. They shoot Sekhar mistaking him to be a Maoist. After realizing their mistake, they frame him as Maoist by planting proof. Lawyer Dharma Reddy (Kota) cheats on his client Sekhar and makes sure that he gets 8-year imprisonment. Madhurima meets Geeta (Tabu) - an investigative journalist. As Madhurima and Geeta unite to get clues, the encounter specialists force Madhurima to commit suicide. In the end, Sekhar kills Nagesh & Divakar.

Plot

Krishna Lanka is an island in Godavari districts. The only way of commuting to that island is by boats. Lots of people die due to bad whether conditions while they travel. Krishna Lanka's President Bullabbai (Vijay Kumar) wants to have a bridge to that island which costs several crores. He asks his IAS friend Venkata Ratnam (Prakash Raj) to make his dream come true. Even 20 years after Venkata Ratnam leaving the village, there is no news about the bridge. Bullebbai sends his son Chandu (Ravi Teja) to Hyderabad to meet Venkata Ratnam and know the progress. After coming to Hyderabad, Chandu realizes that Venkata Ratnam is very money-minded and is least bothered about the bridge. The rest of the story is all about how Chandu makes Venkata Ratnam get the bridge approved by the government.

Plot

Bhadra (Ravi Teja) and Raja (Arjan Bajwa) are the thickest of friends. When Raja comes to the city to visit Bhadra, Bhadra notices Raja's sister, Anu (Meera Jasmine), and is attracted to her instantly. When Raja visits his home village, Bhadra visits along with him. Anu, who returns from London, is impressed by Bhadra, who continually impresses her, based on her tastes. He gets along well with Raja's and Anu's family, in the meanwhile convinces them that he would make a prospective groom for Anu.

Anu's family, mainly her brother and cousin, are involved in regional gangs in their village. When Anu takes out Bhadra to the temple for a visit, without the knowledge of their brother (Prakash Raj), a rival gang member group is attacked by Anu's cousin's group members and one of the member of the rival group gets hold of Anu and threatens to kill Anu. In a swift action of bravery and skill, Bhadra knocks down the rival group member.

After this incident, Anu's brother, gives pandko a talk about why things are so violent in the village. He explains how he is a masters degree holder from a prestigious university (BITS Pilani) and how his wife is also a masters degree holder. Unfortunately, due the nature of the villages, the rivalry is deadly and fatal. He ultimately says, even though the villages are violent, he will remain a noble person, with high ideals.

After a few days though, in the most ungrateful manner and a show cowardice, the rival gang fights with fierce brutality, and the rival gang leader Veerayya (Pradeep Rawat) murders Raja's entire family, except Anu. Bhadra makes the promise to Anu's brother that he will take up the responsibility of Anu and that he will eventually marry her. In the process, he also becomes a rival of Veerayya as he kills his younger brother (Subbaraju) to protect Anu.

After the tragedy, Bhadra and Anu head back to Bhadra's city to attend his sister's marriage. The movie shows the jovial aspects of the marriage ceremonies. At the end of the marriage, an uncle of Bhadra insults Anu and tells her to leave him and bribes her money to leave. Bhadra turns furious to his uncle and promised that he will marry Anu, whatever may come. Just as Anu and Bhadra go out to eat, the original rival gang of Veerayya returns and Bhadra, in a fit of deep rage and anger, kills all the rival gang members, chases them down a few miles. Realizing he left Anu behind, he goes back to find she is gone and then instantly becomes deeply dejected and despondent. This is when his father asks him to tell him what happened. The story he tells his father is the story that is written above.

Meanwhile Surendra's Men trace Anu and bring her to Bhadra's home. Feeling that she is not safe anymore here, Bhadra plans to send her abroad. Anu is not happy with his decision as she loves him. After some circumstances, Anu comes to know that Bhadra too loved her while Bhadra is fighting with the gang of Veerayya. Atlast Veerayya is killed and Bhadra & Anu live a happy life forever.

Plot

Almost the entire first half is filled with Seenu’s (Ravi Teja) childhood and boyhood memories. The girl who first comes into his life is Vimala. She simply vanishes from his life after the tearful farewell both bid to each other after High school. This boyhood role is played by an adolescent of that age. But Mallika continued playing the girl Vimala, even in the latter part of the drama. The second episode begins after his father Sriram (Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao), a postmaster, is transferred to a village in Kerala. Seenu (Raviteja now) joins a college and gets close to a Malayalee girl named Latika (Gopika). He also meets another student Satyam (Sunil) who turns out to be a Telugu man to his comfort. Satyam serves him as a translator, as Seenu does not know the local language. Latika falls in love with Seenu just like that, for no reason. It is a kind of love at first sight. But that episode ends after her family members interfere and drive the postmaster family out of the village. Latika is then married off to local young man who set his eyes on her already. There are some skirmishes too. Seenu then comes back to Andhra and gets close to yet another girl named Divya (Bhoomika), working in an advertisement agency headed by one Prakash (Prakash Raj). Divya, in fact, secures this job for Seenu after seeing him and his friend Bhagavan (Krishna Bhagavan) distributing phamplets to the passengers in a bus, seeking job opportunities, hoping one of them may help them out in finding a job. Divya does exactly that and her boss gives him job instantly as he says he is impressed by the novel idea of distributing leaflets seeking job. This part of the story is driven to another corner, closing the gap between Seenu and Divya, by bringing into picture her ailing mother who finally dies leaving her daughter alone. This creates an opportunity for her to marry Seenu. But she says she wants to remain just a good friend. Now the last page of his story: He comes across yet another girl, Sandhya (Kanika) whom he finally weds. The film, in fact, opens showing Seenu moving out with wedding cards for this marriage and then going to the other three girls he loved earlier, one after the other, to invite them for his marriage. The rest of the film is his narration of events that took place before the final event was held.

Plot

Edu Kondalu (Ravi Teja) is an uneducated, head strong youth in Bobbarlanka village. He and his village heads decide to close down the nearby factory by appealing to politicians as its letting out a lot of pollutants into the river which is the main source of food, water and livelihood for them. He and another girl Manga Thaayaru (Aarti Agarwal) are sent to Hyderabad to appeal to MLA of their constituency - Byragi Naidu (Sayaji Shinde). They stay at a Friend's place (Ali's house) and try to get their work done by the minister. In the process many hurdles come across them. Edu Kondalu roughs up a few of the MLA's goons and is always at loggerheads with his henchmen. After all this, Byragi Naidu begins to show his true colors and plans to butcher Edu Kondalu as he is forming as an obstruction to his underground activities, unknowingly. Then, the protagonist of the story decides to teach the MLA a lesson, get his job done of closing down the factory. Swapna (Reema Sen) is a journalist who stays in his locality and as a heavy crush on him. She also helps him in pinning down the minister. The remaining plot is how intelligently Edukondalu outclasses the minister and earns good name. One of the plots the hero makes uses Shakeela's films to defame the minister and she herself makes an appearance in the film.

Plot

Dongodu is an remake version of Malayalam movie Meesa Madhavan and this is an Family Darma based movie. In which, Madhava (Ravi Teja) becomes a thief in his childhood to feed the hunger of his sister and he continues to be a notorious thief in that village. There is one landlord called Naidu (Tanikella Bharani) who exploits the people around by unfair means. Rukhmini (Kalyani) is the daughter of Naidu. Naidu also possesses the registration forms of Madhava's house with him because he gave loan to the father of Madhava at a very high interest rate rest of the movie is about how Madhava wins the challenge against Naidu.

Plot

Ee Abbayi Chala Manchodu is an Roamnce based movie. In which, Hero's father (Ajay Ratnam) who believes that love means sharing worldly pleasures with a female (Preethi Nigam).His son (Ravi Teja) who thinks that love is sacred and pristine. Herion's Mother (Sana) who thinks that husband (Benarjee) should be dominated in the family in order to have more grip on the proceedings of running a family. daughter (Vani) who thinks otherwise.

What would be the reaction of parents when these two youngsters fall in love? The parents resist. Boy's father says that his son can go with his girl friend and enjoy. Girl's mother says that she can't afford an unruly daughter staying in her house.

Plot

Khadgam is an Patriotic movie. In which, Koti (Ravi Teja) is a hero wannabe. He has only one goal in life. That is to become a hero and to be called as 'Babu' by the industry people.

Amjad (Prakash Raj) is an auto driver. Though extremely religious Muslim, Amjad is very patriotic about India. His younger brother Azhar(Shafi) is been missing since one year. The cops of Hyderabad arrested a dreadful ISI terrorist Masood. In a bid to get him released, the Pakistan authorities train Azhar and send him across to Hyderabad to create riots and build communal tension. Azhar comes to Hyderabad and stays with his brother Amjad. Azhar's secret activities include devising and executing plans to release Masood.

Radha Krishna (Srikanth) is a sincere and efficient police officer. But he is very serious in nature and has enormous hatred towards Pakistan for the reasons best known to him.

The rest of the story includes how these three protagonists save the terrorist Masood from fleeing to Pakistan.

Plot

Morampudi Anil Kumar (Ravi Teja) is a well educated but unemployed youth who comes to the city in search of a job. After attending a hundred interviews, he is offered a night watchman job by an employer who is impressed by Anil's honesty and dignity of labour. Anil starts looking for a room to stay in a nearby colony. Satyanandam (Jeeva) stays in the colony and takes care of a house of his friend living in America, collecting rent for him. Swathi (Kalyani) stays in that house and works in a software firm. Satyanandam is interested in collecting a second rent for himself and offers the house to Anil on the condition that he can stay there only during the day, without Swathi's knowledge. Anil agrees and moves into the house. Anil is impressed by the way the room is decorated and artfully arranged and understands that the lady staying there has a very good taste.

The colony is full of comical characters very typical of Vamsy's films. Satyanandam is a miser trying to make money by what ever means he can. His crazy brother-in-law (Krishna Bhagavan) keeps creating trouble for him and others in the colony. The washer-man (Mallikarjuna Rao) sells his crazy ideas to people. Potti Raju (Kondavalasa Lakshamana Rao) keeps making several attempts to start his own business but always ends up in a loss. The interaction of these characters with each other and the humorous situations that arise form the backbone to the movie's story line.

After a month, Anil accidentally breaks Swathi's porcelain artefact in the room and writes a letter to her apologising for his mistake. Swathi comes across the letter, and learns that some one else has been staying in her room without her knowledge. But she takes a liking for Anil's honesty and lets him stay in her house when she is not there. Both keep communicating through letters and become good friends, gradually falling in love without seeing each other. Anil and Swathi also happen to meet in a restaurant when she accidentally accuses him of stealing her purse. They start of as enemies but become good friends without knowing that they are room mates too. One day, Anil comes to know that the friend he has been meeting outside is none other than his own room mate Swathi, but does not reveal this to her, wanting to surprise her at the time of marriage.

Anand, the brother of Swathi's office manager takes a liking for her, and sends his father to her adopted parents in the village seeking alliance. Swathi's poor parents express interest, as it would help them to get their two younger daughters married. Swathi is in a fix, as she wants to help her father who adopted her and brought her up despite his poverty, but she cannot let go of her love for Anil. She expresses her dilemma to Anil as a friend, without any knowledge that it is with him that she is in love actually. Anil realises that Swathi's family would benefit from her marriage with Anand. He leaves a letter in the room telling her that he is deserting Swathi and going after a rich girl. As a friend he comforts Swathi and convinces her to marry Anand. However, Swathi comes to know the truth in the end through Anil's friend and they unite.
