Plot

This story is all about an ambitious boy named Seenu (Ravi Teja) who dreams of becoming a don. He always likes to be called as ‘Don’ Seenu since childhood due to the strong influence of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Don’. He grows up with just one passion - that of becoming the World's No: 1 Don. Thanks to his enterprising nature, he gains access to the cream of the city's dons, and uses his cleverness to play off the top two - Machiraju (Sayaji Shinde) and Narsingh (Sri Hari), fierce rivals - against each other. Seenu wants to join one of these dons and grow up in the ranks. He joins hands with Machiraju. In the process he is given a task to go to Germany and win the heart of Narsing’s sister whose marriage is fixed with the son of the super don Mukesh (Mahesh Manjrekar). Seenu goes to Germany and wins the heart of Deepthi (Shriya Saran) and later, he discovers that he was shown the wrong girl. The wrong girl is none another than the sister of Machiraju. This leads to various turns in the plot. What happens next is all about how Seenu achieves his dream of becoming a don and live happily with Deepthi or does he?

Plot

Krishna Lanka is an island in Godavari districts. The only way of commuting to that island is by boats. Lots of people die due to bad whether conditions while they travel. Krishna Lanka's President Bullabbai (Vijay Kumar) wants to have a bridge to that island which costs several crores. He asks his IAS friend Venkata Ratnam (Prakash Raj) to make his dream come true. Even 20 years after Venkata Ratnam leaving the village, there is no news about the bridge. Bullebbai sends his son Chandu (Ravi Teja) to Hyderabad to meet Venkata Ratnam and know the progress. After coming to Hyderabad, Chandu realizes that Venkata Ratnam is very money-minded and is least bothered about the bridge. The rest of the story is all about how Chandu makes Venkata Ratnam get the bridge approved by the government.

Plot

Bharat (Balakrishna) is a sincere and dedicated police officer in Mumbai. In a short span of time he is regarded as a fearless officer who could single handedly bring the guilty to the justice. Preethi (Shreya) is a medico and daughter of Police Commissioner Prasad (Vizag Prasad). She falls head over heels for our Mr Bharat, but this does not make any difference to the storyline of present stream of faction backdrop movies.

Meanwhile another super cop, Sivakrishna working in Rayalseema region of Andhra Pradesh becomes person in news as daring and dashing police officer who never bows his head to politicians. Inevitable Sivakrishna becomes an itch to local faction leader, Dhanunjaya Reddy (Anantraj) who runs a parallel government in that region. When Sivakrishna falls victim to the political clout of Dhanunjaya Reddy he is demoted and transferred to Tihar Jail as lower rank officer. In between we are shown a statue of Chenna Kesava Reddy who is considered as a man of high respect in the region and is missing for the past 22 years.

Sivakrishna finds Chenna Kesava Reddy in Tihar Jail being imprisoned on some false case. Sivakrishna makes every effort to get Chennakesava Reddy released. When Chennakesava Reddy returns to his village after 22 years, he is pompously welcomed by one and all. Chennakesva Reddy halts the factionalist activities of Dhanunjaya Reddy and his henchmen.

After knowing the return of Chennakesva Reddy his wife and son come to see him. Now the movie turns into flash back, in which Chennakesava Reddy is shown as a generous and the most revered man in the village but has rivalry with Venkata Reddy (Jayaprakash Reddy). In one of the worst spar between the rivals Chennakesava Reddy’s rivals hack his entire family members to death. When their bid to kill Chennakesava Reddy falls short, they wangle some false case against him and send him to Tihar Jail. However, Chennakesava Reddy's wife Sita (Tabu), younger son Bharat (Balakrishna) escape the attack by Venkata Reddy and his men with the help of his follower and reach Mumbai.

Chennakesave Reddy starts taking revenge on his rivals one after the other and there happens to be none to dare Chennakesave Reddy in the Seema. In order to counter him Dhanunjaya Reddy gets Bharath posted in Seema. The movie continues with the son the chasing father to arrest – father moving ahead in his mission revenge

Plot

Vishwanath (Prakash Raj) is a millionaire whose daughter is Anjali (Shriya Saran). Vishwanath loves his daughter very much. So much that he even buys her an Icecream Parlor when his daughter asks him for an ice cream. What Vishwanath expects is a son-in-law who will never oppose him in any matter. Rishi (Tarun) hails from a middle class family. His father played by Chandramohan owns a departmental store. He is a good hearted but happy-go-lucky guy. Anjali happens to join the college in which Rishi is her senior. Soon, they fall in love with each other. On one such occasion, Rishi takes her to Mumbai for dinner. Anjali fakes off the issue with her father that she was with her friend. But unfortunately, Vishwanath calls that friend up when Anjali was missing. He tells him that Anjali went to Mumbai with someone called Rishi. This is enough for Vishwanath's suspicion to rise that Anjali has fallen in love. He asks Rishi to prove his worth, and asks him in some way to earn any money so that he can support Anjali who he has brought up in riches. When Rishi refuses to comply, he gives Rishi one crore rupees to forget her daughter. Rishi takes it and later gives it back, insulting Viswanath, and tries to prove that his love is greater than everything. To retaliate, Vishwanath insults Rishi's family by getting a beggar for marriage with Rishi's sister to try to convey to them the pain he must feel. Rishi then creates a scene in Viswanath's office. Anjali starts to show more feelings for Rishi. Worried, Vishwanath tries to set Anjali's marriage with another guy. In the end, the marriage fails and Anjali marries Rishi...

Plot

Tagore (Chiranjeevi) creates his own vigilante military network called the Anti-Corruption Force (ACF) that eliminates the most corrupt individuals, from all walks of life, in a systematic manner. As pressure builds on Police and Government to track down the Man who masterminds these killings, Balbir Singh (Puneet Issar), is specially summoned to head the task. He is aided by Suryam (Prakash Raj) who, though being just a constable in the mammoth Police force, is compelled by his instincts to see through the underlying design. Together they unravel the mystery and unveil the phenomenon called Tagore, but not before Badrinaryana (Sayaji Shinde), the human face of evil, finds out that his revelry in the belief of Tagore’s death was a mistake he can never make amends for.

Plot

Karthik (Nagarjuna) is a rich architect in Ooty. He falls in love with Padhu (Gracy Singh). Padmavathi takes her own sweet time to accept Karthik's love. Padmavathi has a cute cousin sister Bhanu (Shriya). Bhanu encourages their love and gives courage to Padhu. When Padhu reveals about her love, her father Rama Chandraiah (K. Viswanath) resists and asks her to marry the guy he has chosen for her. Padhu flees from home and marries Karthik. Padmavathi is very eager to get back to her parents and get their blessings. Karthik and Padmavathi migrate to New Zealand and they give birth to a kid named Lucky. Padhu dies in an accident. Rama Chandraiah has a very big joint family. A few of the family members opine that inviting Karthik and his kid for a marriage to be happened at their place would give an opportunity to get a closer look at Lucky. When Karthik visits Rama Chandraiah's place he gets mixed responses from different people in the house. Rama Chandraiah doesn't like Karthik and others like him. Over a period of time, Karthik impresses them all and when he was about to go back to New Zealand, Rama Chandraiah expresses his repentance for whatever happened and says that he is accepting Karthik as his son-in-law. Bhanu has fallen in love with Karthik. She meets Karthik, a widower now. She still has feelings for him. But at the same time, there is Pawan (Prabhu Deva) - a childhood friend of Bhanu - who is deeply in love with her. Karthik returns to New Zealand. Bhanu along with Pawan visits Karthik. During that period Bhanu gets closer to Karthik. When Karthik realizes the intentions of Bhanu, he fixes Pawan as the fiancée for her. Now Bhanu is about to get married to Pawan. Bhanu loves Karthik, but Karthik hesitates to repeat the history by marrying a girl against the wishes of her family. Just as Karthik is about to leave for good with his son, Rama Chandraiah stops him from leaving and pleads him to marry Bhanu. Also, Pawan comes and pleads Karthik to marry Bhanu as he can tell that Bhanu is not happy about the marriage. The film has a happy ending with Karthik and Bhanu marrying.

Plot

The story takes place during the pre-Independence era, just before the British left India.

Subash Chandra Bose is a Patriotic action darma based movie in which Ashok (Venkatesh) working in a TV channel with his girl friend Anita (Genelia), covers the meeting of a politician (Prakash Raj).

By seeing Prakash Raj there, Ashok gets images from the bygone era. In a flash back, it is revealed that in the year 1946, a man named Subash Chandra Bose alias Chandram (Venkatesh) fights against local British officer (Gulshan Grover).

Subash Chandra Bose worships the real freedom fighter Subash Chandra Bose. When the state governor (Tom Alter) comes to Chintapalli along with his daughter Diana for a brief vacation, Subash Chandra Bose welcomes him by blowing up the water tank in his palace. Enraged Governor asks his army to kill Bose. With the help of a local native Bandodu (Prakash Raj), the British army wipes out the entire village population including Bose’s lover (Shriya).In an act of betrayal by Bandodu, the army kills Bose too. Ashok realises that he is the reincarnation of Subash Chandra Bose and Prakashraj is Bandodu. In the climax Bose kills Bandodu.

Neeku Nenu Naaku Nuvvu (Telugu: నీకు నేను నాకు నువ్వు) is a Telugu movie starring Uday Kiran and Shriya, directed by Raja Sekhar. Actor Krishnam Raju, Suman, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, Ravi Babu, Brahmanandam, Krishna Mohan, Kakarala, Sujatha, Meena Kumari, and Jyothi play supporting role in this film.

Story

Raghavayya (Krishnam Raju) - a rich industrialist - has a daughter (Meena Kumari). Raghavayya helps Prasad (Suman) - who was the son of Raghavayya's deceased employee - by funding his studies and finances. Prasad falls in love with Raghavayya's daughter and elopes with her to London and settles there.
Raghavayya adopts a kid from orphanage and names him as Anand (Uday Kiran). In the meantime, Raghavayya's daughter expires due to illness. They have a daughter called Seeta Lakshmi (Shriya). After a few years, they return to Hyderabad. Seeta Lakshmi meets Anand. Raghavayya has excessive hatred towards love marriages because of his daughter's elopement. Anand is very loyal to his father (Raghavayya).
What would happen if Raghavayya comes to know that his loyal and truthful son fell in love with the daughter of the people who cheated him forms the bone of contention in the second half.

Roudram

The film starts in the 1980s. A young Shiva (Jiiva) is taught by his grandfather (Prakash Raj) to be bold and brave and fight against all odds, especially all that's evil. Shiva grows up with his grandfather's words as the Bible. However, Shiva's parents (Jayaprakash and Lakshmi) want him to lead a peaceful life. Shiva gets arrested by the police after fighting with another law student, Guna who is one of Gowri's gang. Enters Priya (Shriya), a law college student. She is the daughter of a police official (Babu Antony). She bails Shiva out and falls for him after seeing him fight for other people's good. Eventually Shiva too falls for her. Guna wants revenge as Shiva had humiliated him in front of everyone. He wants Shiva dead. Things take a turn when Shiva goes to the bus stop with his friend to pick up Ramanujam's (Satyan) father. There, a couple of rowdies kidnap a young girl. Shiva could not stand this and fights with them. Gowri was one of the rowdies there and Shiva hits him. Gowri is infuriated and wants Shiva dead at any cost. Shiva's entire family stops talking to Shiva though he insisted that what he did was for the good. Shiva's sister gets married to Ramanujam eventually and his brother (Srinath) marries his long time love. These marriages happens without Shiva's knowledge and he becomes shocked and shattered. He packs up and leaves his house since he realises that his presence will only make things dangerous for his family. He takes his grandfather's photo along with him.

Meanwhile, Gowri threatens Priya and she marries Shiva though her father warns her about the danger surrounding him. Shiva's father comes to their house one day and tells Priya to convince Shiva to leave for Delhi the next morning where Priya's father had fixed a job for Shiva. Though Shiva was reluctant at first, he eventually agrees and they start packing. As Shiva sets out to bring an auto, Gowri's gang who had been planning to kill Shiva waits for him and attacks him. The rest, which is supplemented by electrifying stunt sequences, is about how Shiva emerges victor against all odds. The story ends with a thrilling and sad climax. Guna, who is still angry with Shiva kidnaps Priya. Shiva after hearing a woman's scream for help starts running to save her, however his father and Priya's father try to hold him back as they did not want any more trouble. Shiva eventually reaches the place where he sees Guna slit Priya's throat. Guna is shot dead. The film ends with Shiva carrying Priya and screaming in agony.

Mallanna

Kanthaswamy (Tamil: கந்தசாமி, Kantacāmi) is a 2009 Tamil language feature film directed by Susi Ganesan, who with Kanthaswamy completed his fourth film. Vikram acts in the lead role, whilst Shriya Saran, Prabhu Ganesan, Krishna, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mukesh Tiwari, Mansoor Ali Khan, Vadivelu and Y. G. Mahendran also play roles in the film. Mumaith Khan features in a cameo appearance while Susi Ganesan himself makes a special appearance. The film's soundtrack and background score is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film was dubbed and simultaneously released as Mallana in Telugu and is said to be also dubbed into English, Spanish and Italian. S. Thanu, the film's producer had initially mentioned that the film would be released by mid-2008, however the filming has taken much longer, mainly because of a few shooting halts; especially because of the sudden death of Raghuvaran, who was given a major role in the film. The film's soundtrack was released on 17 May 2009 and the film was released on 21 August 2009 to mixed reviews.

Plot

The film's plot revolves around Kanthasamy (played by Vikram), who is a Income Tax officer in the CBI, and his friends, granting the wishes of the needy who write letters to a local Lord Muruga temple by disguising himself as an anthropomorphic chicken. During a CBI income tax raid, he discovers a stash of black money owned by Ponnusamy (played by Ashish Vidyarthi), a rich and corrupted entrepreneur. Ponnusamy pretends to be paralysed to escape the questioning. Angered by the news that her father is paralysed, Ponnusamy's daughter, Subbulakshmi (played by Shriya Saran) goes after Kanthasamy to seek revenge by pretending to be in love with him. Kanthasamy, knowing Subbulakshmi's real intentions plays along in the game. This forms a cat and mouse chase between the two. In a comical role, Thengakadai (played by Vadivelu) is also sought after by a local police inspector who tries to solve the mystery of "Lord Muruga saving the people". The fate of Kanthasamy's disguise leads into the climax of the story. The local police inspector was able to bring out the truth that a CBI is involved in the role behind the secret work of helping the needy people although he was not able to confirm it. Kanthasamy finds the password of Subbulakshmi's family bank account, in which the black money is illegally saved. He tricks Subbulakshmi into revealing the password and answers for the security questions indirectly. Kanthasamy finally transfers the money to his account which would be used for helping the poor and needy people. Ironically, in the end, Subbulakshmi's father was paralysed at the end knowing that the password which was used by him to access his black money was changed. After that Subbulakshmi and Kanthasamy were married and were living in northern India. Kanthasamy saw some letters tied to a tree, just like the ones at the Lord Muruga temple. He read one and he put a letter into his pocket with a secret smile, which meant he is the anthropomorphic chicken again.

Ela Cheppanu (2003)

Ela Cheppanu (Telugu: ఎలా చెప్పను, English translation: How Should I Say?) is a Telugu film starring Shriya and Tarun, directed by Ramana. It is the remake of the Bollywood hit movie Tum Bin.

Plot

Ela Cheppanu is an Romance based movie. In which, Sekhar (Tarun) is a successful business manager in Hyderabad who is an alumnus of IIM. He meets Amar Varma (Siva Balaji) at a party. Amar Varma is an NRI from Germany who owns Varma industries out there. While driving back to his home, Sekhar accidentally speeds his vehicle into pedestrian Amar Varma. Amar Varma dies in the accident.

Sekhar's friend Sunil (Sunil) manages everything and makes sure that the police could not trace Sekhar and Sunil. It's 6 months since the accident happened and Sekhar could not come out of the guilty feeling. He joins Sunil and visits Germany.

He gets in touch with the family of Amar Varma. He realizes that the entire family of Amar depended on him for survival. And Varma Industries is bankrupt. Priya (Shriya), love and fiancée of Amar Varma.The rest of the film is all about how Sekhar solves all the problems of Amar's family.

Directed by Iyappan, and produced by Vishal's home company, GK Films, the film released in 29 May 2009 to mixed reviews. The Telugu version, titled Pistha, was filmed and released simultaneously. The movie was led into a controversy for a kissing scene between the lead pair and the images were released online, later the producer reconciled that the scene were released without permission and and it was not to evoke anything vulgar emotions. Some still claim that the photos were released intentionally for advertising purpose as it had the top actress Shriya kissing with Vishal.

Plot

Guru (Kishore) and Thamizharasu (Prakashraj) are dreaded gangsters in Chennai. They are against pitted each other and fight to establish their supremacy in city. They indulge in gang war painting Chennai red. Enters Murugan (Vishal). A native of Madurai, he comes to Chennai with a mission. He leaves his village promising his mother (Geetha) that he would return only with his brother, who had run away from the house about two decades ago.

Murugan gets the help of his friend Veluchamy (Santhanam). He comes across the gangsters and a sequence of events results in him incurring both their wrath. In a bloody duel with Guru, he comes to know that he is his brother, whom he has been searching for long. Now he is entrusted with the task of protecting him from Thamizharasu. How he accomplishes his task forms the crux.
