Plot
Ravi Yadav (Vinod Khanna) is the servant of Manohar Singh (Rajiv Verma). He has a younger brother, Rohan Yadav (Salman Khan). When Ravi is falsely accused of murdering a woman, and sentenced to 12 years of prison, Manohar Singh's wife Renuka (Moushumi Chatterjee) assures him that she will take care of Rohan. 12 years later, when Ravi comes out of prison, he finds out that Renuka is not alive, and Rohan's whereabouts are unknown. Rohan, in the meantime, has been adopted by famous Lawyer Gujral (Saeed Jaffrey), and his wife Yashoda (Reema Lagoo), and is now known as Vasudev Gujral, a lawyer by profession. Vasudev falls in love with Payal Singh (Karisma Kapoor), who happens to be Manohar Singh's daughter. Ravi finds out that Renuka is alive but her memory is diminished. He starts medical treatment for Renuka. To earn the needed money, he accepts a contract to kill Vasudev Gujral, little knowing that he is about to kill his own long-separated brother.

Plot
Vishal (Pankaj Dheer) is a respectable and honest officer. One day Vishal is abducted and killed in the presence of his younger brother, Jugnu (Salman Khan), who is missing and considered to be dead. In reality he is taken in by a jungle tribe, where the chief (Puneet Issar) trains him. Honest and diligent Gandhian Raghunath gets very angry by seeing this situation, and demands from the Chief Minister, Omiji, to step into the picture. When Omiji attempts to inquire into this, his son is incriminated for selling tainted glucose in hospitals, which caused to several deaths. Powerless to act, Omiji hesitates, and as a result Raghunath is killed. Thereafter, Jugnu returns, now a one man army, willing to avenge his brother's death.

Plot
Bhagwati Prasad looks after the vast estate of his deceased brother, assisted by his wife, and brother-in-law, Markutey. Bhagwati has got into debt and has been embezzling money in order to pay his debtors. His spoiled and rude niece, Renu, who resides in the United States decides to pay them a visit. Bhagwati welcomes her and makes her feel at home, but Renu is not easily satisfied until she gets a speed boat so that she can be on her own. Alerted by her lawyer, she starts to scrutinize recent transactions and finds 15 lakh rupees missing. She asks Bhagwati to provide her with an explanation within 2 days. Then she gets into her speed boat, only to get involved in an accident, planned by Bhagwati,and disappears. Bhagwati is all set to take over the estate, when the estate's lawyer gets a Court Order freezing all the cash, bank, and assets until such time Renu is found or her body is located. The months go by, Bhagwati hires men to look for Renu, and they soon find her and lead him to her. Bhagwati finds out that she has lost her memory, and is living with a man named Raja and three children. This time Bhagwati will make sure that she will not escape alive, even if it means to kill Raja and the three children as well.:)

Plot
DD (Ajit Vachani), a senior officer in the Archaeological Survey of India, and JB (Saeed Jaffrey), a businessman now living in the USA, have been inseparable friends since childhood. When JB returns to India after a long stay in the USA, he asks after DD's daughter Sonia (Sheeba) as a potential life partner for his son Vicky (Salman Khan). But when Vicky arrives in India, he informs Sonia that he is not interested in marriage. Sonia understands and accepts this, but suggests they marry anyway (in accordance to their parents' wishes, as respectful children do) and that she will not stand in the way of his adventures. Vicky agrees and they get engaged.
Around this time DD receives word that the lead archaeologist, Kishore, on his current project (an excavation in a small hamlet called Sangramgadh) has mysteriously disappeared. He asks his project officer Mahesh (Puneet Issar) to investigate. Mahesh reviews Kishore's notes and learns of a local baba (wise old man in the village) who seems to know a bit about the situation. They arrange to bring baba to the city.
baba narrates the history of Sangramgadh. Once a happy realm, it has now fallen upon hard times accompanied by sinister events. Although the village lands support agriculture, the harvested grain inexplicably self-incinerates overnight. Those who leave Sangramgadh assuredly meet financial or personal ruin outside, and those who stay are plagued by the suffering of a bleak and hopeless existence. The baba reveals this is all a result of a curse placed upon the village by the wandering atma (soul) of an ancient princess Suryalekha (Amrita Singh). The baba once visited the ruins of the old palace and summoned the atma, whereupon it appeared and commanded him: if the village must be freed from her thrall, they must bring her her Suryavanshi (a prince born of the Sun dynasty). Shortly after this narration, the baba is found murdered in his quarters.
DD, JB, Vicky, Sonia, Mahesh and a field team arrive in Sangramgadh. They are stumped when they discover that the palace ruins (above ground) are on a bed of solid rock, impervious to digging. The next morning, however, they find a tunnel has been blasted through the rock (apparently at night) to allow them access into the palace. They find Kishore's body, hanging grotesquely by the neck, in the palace. They also find an ancient manuscript in Sanskrit.
This manuscript, written by the ancient Rajguru (royal preceptor) of Sangramgadh, chronicles the events surrounding Suryalekha's death, which took place a thousand years earlier. Suryalekha was an only child. She hated men and refused to be married. When her mother arranged for various princes to visit her, she subjected them to her tests of bravery i.e. single combat with a bunch of her trained villains (gladiators, man-eating leopards and a terrible cannibal, bred to destroy human beings). One such prospective suitor, Prince Amar Singh, bravely defeated her gladiators, but was crushed and devoured by the cannibal. Eventually, a warrior Suryavanshi Rajkumar Vikram Singh (Prince Vikram Singh of the Sun Dynasty; this character is loosely modeled on the Norse hero Thor) took up her challenge and valiantly destroyed all her minions.
Suryalekha agreed to accept Vikram Singh, but he reveals () that he only sought vengeance for his friend Amar Singh and was not interested in marrying her. As he prepared to leave the palace, the Rajguru stopped him (citing insult upon the royal family). As they dueled, Suryalekha leapt from the palace tower to her death. Seizing the momentary distraction, the Rajguru (who otherwise was no match for Vikram Singh) attacked from behind and killed the prince. And unable to bear the disgrace of this dishonorable act (albeit in defending the honor of the royal princess), the Rajguru resigned himself to the andha kuan (dark palace dungeon) for the rest of his life. The Rajmata (queen mother), pronounced a curse upon Suryalekha's atma: it will forever remain confined to the palace and never attain peace. The palace and kingdom of Sangramgadh sank into the ground under a bed of rock. And Suryalekha's atma took to terrorizing the village.
The manuscript stops abruptly. The final page (bearing b revelation of how the atma may be freed of the curse) is missing. At this point, Vicky realizes that he is the Suryavanshi prince reborn.
That night, Sonia and Vicky enter the palace ruins. Suryalekha issues forth from the mirror and welcomes her Prince with flowers. She is enraged at the sight of Sonia. She sends flaming missiles at Vicky. Vicky eventually channels the spirit of Suryavanshi and prepares to battle Suryalekha once again. Sonia, in the meantime, finds the outer garden where there is a large painting of the Rajmata and the final page of the Rajguru's manuscript with the incantation to defeat Suryalekha. Vicky briefly changes form (similar to the transformation of He-Man) and, with the help of the incantation, channels the Rajmata herself to complete the spell and quiesce Suryalekha.
Suryalekha finally accepts her destiny, asks for forgiveness, and passes on to the other side. Vicky and Sonia wearily climb out of the palace and watch the sunrise. Vicky now professes his love and pledges his loyalty to his wife Sonia.
The film ends with the couple running into the arms of their waiting parents.

Plot
Aman (Sanjay Dutt) is an impoverished, lame orphan who is befriended by wealthy Akash Verma (Salman Khan) during his childhood. Akash's parents adopt Aman and give him their family name, so Akash and Aman grow up as brothers. While Akash is a womaniser, Aman takes to writing poems under the pen name Sagar. The poems get published, and Aman becomes very popular. One of his fans is a young woman by the name of Pooja Saxena (Madhuri Dixit), who corresponds with Sagar. Akash meets Pooja and falls head over heels in love with her. When Aman comes to know of this, he asks Akash to pose as Sagar, which he does, then Pooja and Akash fall in love with each other. A heartbroken Aman looks on, as he knows that although women may like his poetry, they will never come out openly and love him when they see his handicap. Akash discovers that Aman loves Pooja and that he is actually Sagar, through a string of events triggered by a Pankaj Udhas show. Akash confronts Aman with this and Aman submits that he loves Pooja. Pooja witnesses this encounter and becomes upset with both Akash and Aman. Akash convinces Pooja and she eventually ends up accepting Aman.

Plot
Maan Singh and the honest Prithvi Singh's are engaged in a legal property dispute. When the Court gives verdict in the favor of Prithvi, Maan Singh, in a fit of rage, hires a renowned bandit, Panna Singh, to eliminate Prithvi's entire family. Panna partly succeeds, and escapes wounded to a forest to escape Prithvi's fury. Prithvi loses his sister, wife and other members of his family due to the attack, and vows to avenge by killing Maan Singh's family in return, and he does it with partial success.
Maan Singh's brother, the Police Inspector Suraj Singh who incidentally was Prithvi's trusted and best friend testifies against Prithvi in the case of carnage, not for revenge but as his duty. This however upsets Prithvi no end and puts an end to their friendship.
Prithvi escapes prison, plunders and takes over Panna Singh's gang and becomes Daku Prithvi Singh. The only survivors from his family are his daughter, Chanda, his former housekeeper Kaaki, and her son, Himmat. He goes into hiding with his gang and family.
On the other side, Inspector Suraj Singh lives with his son, Akash. Years later, an educated Akash returns and while visiting a local fair spots an uneducated Chanda and they both fall in love with each other.
When their respective fathers' find out, they are enraged, they prohibit the young lovers to see each other by locking them up and their marriages' are fixed elsewhere.
Both Akash and Chanda believe in their love, and stage their escape but are unaware of the consequences- another bloodbath at the hands of the vengeful Panna Singh was on the corner, who is still alive - and wants to kill Prithvi and his remaining family.
