Plot
Actress Saritha comes to a small town to talk to Vaishali (Jayapradha), because she is about to play her in a film based on her life. Vaishali suffers from hysteria and angrily shuts out Saritha. The story is now told in flashback, when Vaishali's brother tells Saritha about her marriage to Kumar (Chiranjeevi), lasting only 47 days (hence the film's title). Kumar takes Vaishali to a country manor in France. She does not know French or English. Kumar already has a French first wife Lucy (Anne Patricia) living there on the top floor. He deceives both wives: He tells Vaishali that Lucy is a friend, while he tells Lucy that Vaishali is his sister. Eventually, Vaishali figures out his bigamy and does not want to stay with him as his second wife. She does not know of anyone who knows her language and who can help her escape.
Kumar tortures and threatens her to make her act as his mentally deranged sister. He treats her in a very sadistic manner. A Desi pickpocket (Ramaprabha) sees Kumar abusing Vaishali and tells her about an Indian doctor named Shanker (Sarath Babu) who can help her. In the meantime, Vaishali becomes pregnant, and Kumar is afraid that Lucy will discover his deception. He tries to force Vaishali to have an unsafe abortion. Dr. Shanker rescues her and tells Lucy everything about Kumar's bigamy. Lucy ends their marriage. Dr. Shanker brings Vaishali back to India; she moves back in with her brother and mother. No mention is made as to what happened to her pregnancy and no baby is seen or heard. It is presumed that she may have later had an abortion, since she did not want to be connected to her ex-husband Kumar. When Saritha asks why she didn't remarry (perhaps to her rescuer Dr. Shanker), Vaishali angrily replies that a woman does not always have to be married. However, she placates Saritha by saying that she wouldn't mind if her character is shown as remarried in the film.

Plot
Krishna (krishna) and Kishore (Chiranjeevi) are friends who play tricks on every possible person to make their living. The movie starts with kishore creating nuisance in a bar and krishna bargaining with that bar owner to handle this issue. Later they plan to make money by creating fake accident, but kishore gets attracted towards Jaya (Geetha), who is driving that car and forget his purpose. Krishna meets Rekha(Madhumalini), and falls in love with her. Rekha works for Rao (Rao Gopal Rao) and Reddy(Prabhakar Reddy) because, they’ve captivated her father to know secrets about a treasure. Krishna and Kishore repeatedly cheat a person by changing their appearances but ultimately get caught when they’re drunk and go to jail. In jail, they’re threatened by another prisoner who claims to be henchman of Bhoopati(Satyanarayana). Both heroes revolt against bhoopati. Bhoopati attacks them but sees ’star’ marked tattoos on their hands to realise that they’re actually his sons and reveal his story to them. Bhoopati is helped by his friend Kantarao, but kantarao is cheated and killed by Rao and Reddy and Bhoopati is framed under these murder charges. Father and sons decide to teach a lesson to them and release Rekha’s father seetaramayya. Krishna joins Rao’s gang using Rekha and Kishore joins Reddy’s gang with help of Reddy’s daughter Jaya to provoke them against each other. They plan conspiracies against each other but Rao and Reddy unite and heroes get caught, when they try to kidnap Rao’s mentally challenged son and try to release seetaramayya. After getting caught, they manage to escape and take help from Jaya to use Rao’s son to know whereabouts of Seetaramayya. After a song and fight they manage to release seetaramayya and bring him back home but Kishore is caught by Rao and Reddy’s men. Krishna is also trapped and brought to their den, where Bhoopati helps them in climax fight and ultimately Rao and Reddy are arrested by police and Bhoopati’s family re-unites.

Plot
NTR plays Rajasekhar, a young lawyer who starts his practice and wins his first case. He is the son of a bigshot Sasibhushan rao (Jaggayya) and brother of Padma (Jayalakshmi). Padma falls in love with Kishore (Chiranjeevi) who is a singer playing guitar at local clubs. Sasibhushan rao doesn’t accept their love and insult Kishore for his poverty. Padma attempts suicide by consuming sleeping pills but her brother Rajasekhar saves her on time and performs her marriage with Kishore during the absence of their father. Their father gets angry on them but excuses his daughter and gets close to them when she gives birth to a kid. Rajasekhar on the other hand keeps meeting a girl, Rati and her uncle Allu, who cheat people for money. He tries to reform them and employs them in his own office. In an unexpected incident, Rajasekhar realises that his father was related to a smuggling gang who deals with gold and diamonds. His father gets killed but doesn’t reveal anything about the gang. Rajasekhar meets Gangulu(Satyanarayana) who was once helped by his father and tries to take his advice in bursting the gang. In his attempts he is shocked to know that Kishore (Chiru) is involved with the gang. He warns Kishore to quit this and help him to trace their boss. Kishore doesn’t listen to him but when his boss kidnaps his kid and asks him to kill Rajasekhar, Kishore understands where he is standing and decides to turn in favour of his brother-in-law. Both heroes cheat the gang and enter their den to realise that their boss is none other than Gangulu, who was acting all the way by being on Rajasekhar’s side. Movie ends with heroes fighting the gang out and saving Kishore’s child.

Plot
Narasimha Murti (Chiranjeevi) is a multi-talented person who works as a waiter in a star hotel since he is unable to pass his B.A. exams. He meets Sujata (Sumalata), a lecturer who works in a college run by councillor Ankela Adiseshayya (Kaikala Satyanarayana). Mohan (Girish), who is an engineer and elder son of Adiseshayya, comes to Sujatha's place with his father for a marriage proposal. During this Sujata stands up and has an argument with Adiseshayya when the latter demands exorbitant amounts as dowry. This creates a rift between Sujata and her parents who fear that this act of Sujata might ostracize them from society. Adiseshayya also dismisses Sujata from her job.
During this difficult phase, Murti, as a friend, provides solace to Sujatha; their relationship is mistaken as an affair and Sujata is forced to leave her home. Murti creates a big ruckus during the felicitation function of Adiseshayya and humiliates him. Adiseshayya retaliates by hiring goons to beat up Murti and also gets him dismissed from his job.
Left with no choice, Murti takes Sujata to Hyderabad and meets Rao (Arun) whom he had met during the latter's stay in the hotel where Murti worked. Rao, who is in a senior post in Allwyn, hires Sujata. Back home, Lakshmi (Tulasi), younger sister of Sujata, falls in love with Murali (Subhalekha Sudhakar) who is the younger son of Adiseshayya. Murali threatens his father with suicide and forces his father to let him marry Lakshmi. Left without a choice, Adiseshayya who had dreamed of getting a lot of dowry since his son is a doctor, accepts the proposal with very little dowry. After marriage Lakshmi leaves to Sujatha's place where Murti arranges for a marriage between Sujatha and Rao. Lakshmi with consent from her husband files a suit against Adiseshayya to surrender his son, Murali to her since she paid for him during her marriage to teach Adiseshayya a lesson. Seeing this notice, Adiseshayya, his son, and Laskhmi's parents come to Hyderabad just before Sujata's marriage. The climax deals with how Adiseshayya is taught a lesson and also ends with the marriage of Murti and Sujata as per the wishes of the latter. Adiseshayya returns home to find that his elder son Mohan had married the widowed cousin of Murti.

Plot
Rajashekaram (Chiranjeevi), a civil engineer, comes to a village and falls in love with Jayalaxmi (Madhavi). They get married and move to a city. The neighbor Subba Rao (Gollapudi Maruthi Rao) casts an evil eye on Jayalaxmi and creates problems in their life. How everything gets solved is the rest of the film.

Plot
A thrilling Revenge drama made during early 80s, Chattaniki Kallu Levu deals with the story of siblings Vijay (Chiranjeevi) and Durga (Lakshmi) pursuing their sister’s and father’s murderers. Their father and sister are killed by three men, John (Hema Sundar), Javed (Kannada Prabhakar) and Janardan (Ceylon Manohar). Durga, now a police officer, wants the murderers to be punished legally. But, Vijay thinks that law and its loopholes can never track down the three murderers. So, he decides to track them down by himself and succeeds in killing John and Janardhan. This frustrates his sister and interrupts her investigations. She suspects Vijay, but due to lack of evidence remains helpless. In the end, Durga, tring to nab Javed, is kidnapped by him, but Vijay saves her and kills Javed.

Priya is a Telugu film starring Chiranjeevi
Plot
Priya is romance based movie in which, the story revolves around radhika, who is only daughter of a rich industrialist. Chandramohan who is unemployed for long time gets into a small fight with radhika and later she selects him as general manager of her company.
Chandramohan develops love towards her and expresses it and when both are in love, her father doesn’t like it and seperate them by creating a misunderstanding between them. Her father plans to get her married with Chiranjeevi, who is also rich but later she realises that he’s a sad love story behind him.
Radhika joins him at his house and he narrates his love story with Swapna. Chiranjeevi meets swapna in a movie theatre and instantly gets attracted towards her. When he tries to make advances towards her, she warns him.
Later both get close and fall in love. Swapna teases chiru by hiding facts about her driving, horse riding skills.
Later chiru doesn’t take her words seriously, when she says that she can’t swim and throws her into water and she drowns.
Radhika too reveals her lovestory with chandramohan but her father makes arrangements for her marriage with chiru. Chiranjeevi decides to unite them and drowns himself in same lake where swapna got drowned.

Ranuva Veeran is a 1981 Tamil film directed by SP. Muthuraman, starring Rajnikanth and Sridevi in the lead roles. The film has Chiranjeevi as the main villain in a significant role. It was dubbed into Telugu as "Bandipotu Simham" (and released 21 May 1982).
Plot
The film opens with Chiranjeevi being chased and caught by a group of policemen, but he escapes. Meanwhile, a young military man (Rajinikanth) returns to his village, which is known for frequent thefts and murders perpetrated by the mysterious "One-Eyed Man" (Chiranjeevi) and his gang of thieves. Rajini soon meets Chiranjeevi; the two were once college roommates, but they had since separated. In addition to Chiranjeevi, Rajini reunites with his father (Poornam Vishwanatha), an Orthodox Iyengar who always condemns him, and he finds out that his sister eloped with a man few years before, which he later finds out was other than the gangleader of the thieves himself, Chiranjeevi. Sridevi plays Rajini's love interest as a poultry farm girl in a highly glamourous role. The climax fight between Rajini and Chiranjeevi is the highlight of the movie. In the end Chiranjeevi gets shot by his own son.

Chiranjeevi and Sridevi acted together for the second time, after the 1980 hit Mosagadu, in this 1981 hit. ranikasula rangammaHe played another negative role opposite Sridevi in this film, but it had many layers to it.
Chiru’s character was that of a rich, spoiled guy who preys on and rapes village girls. Sridevi, after being his victim, goes to his father and becomes educated to entice Chiru to marry after he rejected her the first time. After seeing her in modern outfits, he finds her intriguing, but he also becomes confused because she seems familiar, yet he is unable to remember her.
In order to get him to marry her, she pretends to be engaged to his father, and in the end, Chiru, after being reprimanded by his father, agrees to marry her.
Both gave excellent performances. Sri played the strong village belle who becomes a modern woman to get the amn who raped her very easily.
Chiru showed evil, confusion, and anger to a perfect tee in this difficult role. He delivered on every level of the multi-layered role of a serial rapist who is tortured by one of his victims
