Super (Telugu: సూపర్) is a 2005 Telugu film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film stars Akkineni Nagarjuna, Ayesha Takia, Sonu Sood, and Anushka Shetty. Soundtrack of the film was composed by Sandeep Chowta. The film was also dubbed into Hindi and was titled Robbery.

Plot

Akhil (Nagarjuna) owns a call-cab service. He falls in love with a doctor, Siri Valli (Ayesha Takia). Soon Siri Valli falls in love with Akhil as well. There is a hi-tech robber called Sonu (Sonu Sood) who steals money in a big way. Sonu used to work for Siri Valli's father and so adopts her as his sister after their family fall into bad times.

Incidentally, Akhil and Sonu are enemies. When Sonu realizes that Siri Valli is in deep love with his arch enemy Akhil, he asks her to put an end to their relationship and to never see him again. Siri Valli goes to Akhil's house to find out why Sonu and him are enemies. Akhil reveals his flash back:

Akhil, Sasha (Anushka Shetty), and Sonu meet in Mumbai in their needy days as unemployed graduates. They soon become friends as they all struggle to find work. Sasha is Sonu's sister. Sasha suddenly develops pains in her stomach and needs an appendix operation. Sonu and Akhil don't have enough money. After a few days, they were forced to steal money. Then they decide to rob the money and make a living out of it. Sasha loves Akhil. But Akhil does not have any feelings for her. He treats her just like a friend. Akhil, Sasha, and Sonu are given one more task: to rob diamonds. After this one robbery, they can be settled for life. Late that same night at the biker's club, Sasha says openly that she will kill herself if Akhil does not love her. Being stubborn, Sasha decides to stay at the Biker's club very late. Meanwhile, she hears some men talking and finds out that it was the same men who told them to rob the diamonds. But the goons plan to kill Akhil, Sonu, and Sasha right after they succeed in the robbery. Sasha overhears them and the goons chase Sasha. They kill her and make it to believe that she committed suicide.

From then on Sonu hates Akhil. Because Akhil couldn't love Sasha, Sonu hates Akhil. Still, neither Sonu or Akhil know that Sasha was killed by goons. After several incidents, they find out who really is behind Sasha's murder: Mama. Mama kidnaps Siri Valli and in ransom, tells Akhil and Sonu to rob the same diamonds they were supposed to rob in Mumbai. They successfully rob the diamonds by blowing up underneath the truck carrying the diamonds (inspired by The Italian Job) and falling into the sea. Akhil then goes into the ocean and gets the diamonds. The police start chasing Sonu and Akhil on motorboats. One of the police shoots Sonu and he falls into the ocean. Still, Akhil does not stop and he heads on over to Mama's place. Akhil gets a hold of Sonu, who faked his death, and Sonu rushes to get his sister from the clutches of the bad guys. Akhil and Sonu manages to kill everyone there and keep the diamonds.

Plot

Siddu (Sairam Shankar) is a carefree boy-next-door. Sanjana (Samiksha) is a doting sister of four elder brothers. Siddu is like a family member in Sanjana's household. One fine day, Sanjana elopes with Siddu. And fate separates them. Sanjana goes into the protective hands of naxalites. Siddu lands up in the house of a journalist (Flora Saini). Siddu thinks Sanjana is dead. Sanjana thinks Siddu is no more. The rest of the story is all about how fate unites them again.

Shart: The Challenge is a 2004 Bollywood film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. This film stars Tusshar Kapoor, Gracy Singh, Amrita Arora, and Anupam Kher. It's a remake of his Telugu blockbuster, Badri.

Plot

Jai (Tusshar Kapoor) has a habit of involving himself in all types of challenges. While Jai and Sonam (Gracy Singh) go out singing and dancing, there comes a moment when an argument develops between them regarding love. Sonam believes in love at first sight while Jai opposes vehemently, stating that love at first sight is nothing but mere infatuation. Sonam challenges Jai to befriend and propose to a girl of her choice. If he succeeds, she will accept defeat and present Jai with a gift, which he has to accept. Jai accepts the challenge

Just then a beautiful girl steps down the temple stairs. Sonam points at her as the target for their challenge. The girl is Sarayu (Amrita Arora). Adopting different methods, Jai ultimately strikes a chord of friendship with Sarayu. One day, Sarayu’s brother Nanda sees them together. Nanda and his goons thrash people black and blue if they dare to cast an evil eye on Sarayu. He goes to Jai’s office with his henchmen. After a scuffle, Nanda warns Jai to stay away from his sister. Seeing their rough behavior, Sonam expresses her wish to withdraw her challenge. But Jai is now more determined to face Nanda at any cost.

Sarayu learns about the confrontation and decides to reveal everything to her brother. While he is in a jolly mood, she confesses her love for Jai. Nanda gets enraged and disapproves of Jai. A depressed Sarayu attempts suicide. Jai learns about the suicide attempt and runs to the hospital to meet her. But Nanda confronts him again. Nanda tells Sarayu that Jai is in love with another girl, and they are planning to marry shortly. When Sarayu questions Jai about it, he reveals the truth about the challenge with Sonam. Sarayu feels betrayed. Sonam observes all this and tells Jai that he has won the challenge, for which her gift to him is Sarayu’s hand in marriage.

Plot

Shankar Pehalvan (Jr. NTR), is the leader of labor from Andhra in Mumbai. Shankar fights with the mafia don Bade Mia (Sayaji Shinde) and in the process Andhrawala also becomes a don. In the ensuing mafia feud, Bade Mia kills Shankar and his wife (Sanghavi). Basha (Benarjee) - a trusted lieutenant of Sankar - takes away the kid to rescue him from Bade Mia. When mafia goons follow him, Basha leaves the kid on a footpath besides a beggar and leaves. The boy, Munna (Jr. NTR), is raised in a slum area. While Basha is in search of Munna to safeguard him, Bade Mia is in search of him to avenge the death of his son in the hands of Shankar. Thanks to the similarities in appearance of father and son, Basha and Bade Mia recognize that Munna is son of Sankar. Munna gets to know his identity and the story of his father and his death from Basha. In the meanwhile, Bade Mia men descend to Hyderabad to kill Munna. Munna decides to take the battle to Bade Mia and goes to Mumbai to confront with Bade Mia face to face. The rest of the story is all about how Munna succeeds in killing his family's murderers.

Sivamani is a 2003 Telugu film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film was Jagannadh's first time working with actor Akkineni Nagarjuna. Asin Thottumkal and Rakshitha play the female leads while Prakash Raj plays the villain. This film is inspired by Message in a Bottle - the Nicolas Sparks novel and film. It was dubbed into hindi as Main Balwaan.

Plot

Sivamani (Akkineni Nagarjuna) is an honest cop in Vizag. He falls in love with Vasanta (Asin Thottumkal), who aspires to become a singer. Dattu is a mafia don (Prakash Raj), whom Shivamani troubles a lot.

Incidentally, Vasanta is distantly related to Dattu and both of them belong to Kerala. In the course of events, Sivamani's mother (Sangeeta) gets paralyzed. Sivamani and Vasanta take her to Kerala to get the state's Ayurveda treatments. Dattu is also in Kerala and his mission is to get his revenge by taking Vasanta away from Sivamani. Vasanta becomes mute after Dattu punctures her voice box. The rest of the story is about how Sivamani gets Vasanta back with the help of newspaper editor Pallavi (Rakshitha).

Plot

Chandu (Ravi Teja)'s entire life was about his mother, Lakshmi (Jayasudha). They together lived in Hyderabad. When Chandu was a little boy, Lakshmi separated from her ex-husband, Raghuveer (Prakash Raj), who was his father. Chandu was a great kick-boxer, which was his other part of his life. Chandu later meets Mugaambigaambaal (Asin) aka Chennai, a Tamil girl from Chennai, and starts to fall in love with her. Suddenly, Chandu's mother dies. On her deathbed, she tells him to go to Visakhapatnam to meet Raghuveer, his father, who is a kick-boxing champion that won the championship six times in a row. Chandu goes to Visakhapatnam to meet him.

When Chandu reaches Visakhapatnam, he meets his father but sees that he has another wife, named Shalini (Aishwarya Sivachandran) and a daughter named Swapna. He sees that he's happily settled with them and gets angry. He also gets a job as a janitor and juice provider at his father's kick-boxing academy. Anand (Subbaraju) is Raghuveer's best student and he is sure that Anand will win the championship. Unexpectedly, he sees that Mugaambigaambaal's family lives here and talks to her. Later, Chandu finds out that Anand makes Swapna pregnant and then abandons her. Anand also abandons Raghuveer by getting another master and other sponsors. Raghuveer is attacked by several of Anand's sponsors and Chandu later beats them up, making Raghuveer find out that Chandu is a great kick-boxer. Raghuveer also finds out that Chandu was also participating in the kick-boxing championship. The rest of the story is how Raghuveer trains Chandu and wins the championship, how Chandu wins the heart of Mugaambigaambaal, and how he unites Swapna and Anand.

Plot

Chanti (Ravi Teja) is the son of a head constable (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Chanti is a guy with carefree attitude. He is beaten by a rival gang at night and was rescued by a beautiful girl Suchitra or Suchi(Rakshitha). She pays his hospital bills and donates her blood. She is gone from the hospital by the time Chanti became conscious. When Chanti's friends tell him who rescued him, he starts loving her immedietley for her good-heartedness though he did not see her. Suchitra later turns out to be the daughter of the city police commissioner Vipra Narayana (Prakash Raj).

Originally a Kannada film named Appu, it was later remade in Tamil as Dum in 2003, starring Silambarasan, with Rakshitha reprising her role in all 3 movies. in 2008 it was remade in Bengali as Priya Amar Priya.

Plot

The movie starts with Sravani (Tanu Roy) and Subramanyam (Ravi Teja), strangers to each other, meeting at suicide point of Vizag seashore. They realize that their goal is the same. Suicide, that is! They describe to each other their reasons to end their lives and duly write suicide notes. Sravani's reason is her nagging relatives who are also guardians of her. They are after Sravani's ancestral money. A friend who took a lump some of money by offering to get a job in Dubai cheated Subramanyam. Sravani and Subramanyam fulfil their last wishes with the help of each other. They consume ample amount of sleeping pills in a bid to end their lives in the room of Subramanyam. The house owner rescues them. Subramanyam lands up with a plum job later as the relatives of Sravani take her back to the home. Subramanyam's marriage gets fixed with a girl of his mother's choice and Sravani's marriage with her maternal uncle. Sravani and Subramanyam flee from their respective marriage halls independently. The rest of the film is about how the lovers unite. In this film, Samrin acts as the boss's daughter loving Ravi Teja. She is the glamor doll of the film and turned out to be a big relief for this otherwise serious love subject. She added another angle to the love to make this film triangular. Music for this film was by Chakri. K. Dutt worked as the cinematographer for this film.

Plot

A remake of the telugu movie Thammudu, Yuvaraja is a youth oriented movie based on Raju who loves to indulge himself in a life full of fun. Jankhi his classmate and his close friend tries to hook him up with Lovely. Raju poses as a son of a wealthy businessman, because of which Lovely is all set to get married to him.
