Plot
Jailed as a juvenile for killing his abusive father (Sudhir Kumar) who is responsible for his mother's suicide, Prithvi (Salman Khan) is unable to witness any atrocity without losing his temper. He meets Maggie Pinto (Revathi Menon) and after a few more chance meetings, they both fall in love. Maggie takes Prithvi to meet her parents, but they reject him after learning about his violent background. Maggie and Prithvi persist, so Maggie's mom, Stella Pinto (Rita Bhaduri), calls the police and has Prithvi jailed. Guruji (Amjad Khan) comes to Prithvi's aid and bails him out. Prithvi and Maggie continue to meet, but Stella finds out that and intervenes and sends rogues to attack Prithvi, during which in the process Maggie gets fatally wounded. Kiran is the only child of a violent father. She was born and grew up in a way, so that she is not known of her father's unlawful habits. When Kiran visits one of the Police Inspector's son Suraj, they both fall in love. When Kiran's father finds out that his child is in love with an honest police officers son, who has been assigned to find him, he gets shocked, but decided to give away all his unlawful activities for daughter's future. However, his own goons not liking this, succeeds killing the honest police officer by framing Kiran's father. Plot
The film is a story of two Pathan families who were at daggers drawn for many generations. Salman (Salman Khan) who is Sher Khan's (Danny Denzongpa) son falls in love with Rukhsar (Chandni), Fateh Khan's daughter.On knowing the truth, Fateh Khan finds his wrath too much to control. On the other hand, Sher Khan is extremely happy to know that his son is in love with his worst enemy's daughter and promises Salman that he will get him married to Rukhsar. The marriage is settled after great difficulties. On the marriage occasion Fateh Khan places an incredible demand in Haque-Meher. Sher Khan is dumbfounded and shocked but gives in for his son's happiness. Hurt by the insult, Sher Khan retaliates by throwing Rukhsar out of the house next morning after paying the agreed Haque-Meher. On seeing Rukhsar back, her people are numbed with shock.
This leads to conflicts between the two families resulting in loss of life on both sides, but Sher Khan and Fateh Khan remain adamant, until they discover that Rukhsar is pregnant with Salman's child. The newborn finally leads to peace between the two.

Plot
The story, based on an idea from Salman Khan, centres on Saajan, the son of a colonel in the Indian army, and Kaajal, a modest girl from "a respectable family." The film opens with Saajan travelling in a bus, when he catches a glimpse of Kaajal on another bus, and they are both smitten. They do not formally meet and, since Saajan is off to start at college, he does not think he will ever see her again. But his new friends at college, Buddha, Tempo and Refill, one night insist that they all visit a brothel in a seedier part of Bombay. Saajan only reluctantly agrees, but ultimately refuses to select a prostitute — until he hears a new girl being beaten by her pimp and decides to protect her. To his surprise, it is Kaajal (called Paro at the brothel), who has been kidnapped by a pimp after she was tricked by a job offer in Bombay.Kaajal, who has only very recently arrived at the brothel and is still a virgin, has adamantly refused to be a prostitute. This is why Jaggu, who runs the brothel, is beating her. When finally alone with Saajan as a paying client (although he does not do anything with her), Kaajal explains to him how she was forced to look for work after her parents' deaths: This ultimately led to her travelling to Bombay and being kidnapped by Dhanraj then forced to work in Jaggu's brothel. Thanks to Leelabai, the madame who helps run the brothel, Saajan is able to spend time with Kaajal, and Kaajal is somehow able to resist becoming a prostitute. Saajan and Kaajal fall in love, and he tries to find a way to get her out of the brothel before Kaajal gives up hope.
When Saajan is finally able to introduce Kaajal to his parents, they — not surprisingly — reject the idea of his marrying a girl from a brothel, even if she was taken there against her will and is from a respectable family. Since Saajan's father, Col. Sood, was already angry with his son for refusing to follow family tradition and join the Indian army, this is the last straw. Saajan is kicked out of his house. He becomes, in his own words, a rebel, a word which is repeated several times in the movie. Since Kaajal is already rebelling against Jaggu because she believes in love, they are now both "rebels for love." With the help of Saajan's college friends, they help Kaajal escape the brothel and flee to Ooty, near where her grandparents live. But just as they are about to be married with Kaajal's grandparents' consent, if not Saajan's father's, police arrive take them back to Bombay, where they claim he's wanted for kidnapping "Paro".
Saajan's father, on hearing of his heroics fighting Dhanraj's men to rescue Kaajal, suddenly has a new-found respect for his son, who had previously been a lazy drifter. With the help of Saajan's three friends, Col. Sood finds his son outside Jaggu's brothel. There the "police" (who are actually working for Dhanraj) have returned Saajan and Kaajal to Dhanraj, who is preparing to punish them for her leaving the brothel. The intervention of Leelabai on Kaajal's behalf leads to yet another fight, with several people switching alliances.

Plot
Although Karan and Kishan have been friends for years, they have grown apart and have little in common. The widower Karan is a poor mechanic who lives in a humble house in the countryside. Kishan is a rich man with a vast business empire and little time for old friends. However, when Karan prepares to work abroad and earn more money, he turns to Kishan to solve a problem. Will Kishan let Karan's daughter Suman (Bhagyashree) stay at his house? Kishan cannot turn down his old friend's request and Suman comes to live with his family. At first, country girl Suman is ill at ease in the huge mansion. She is befriended by Kishan's son Prem (Salman Khan), who assures her that he has no romantic interest in her and that a boy and a girl can be platonic friends. The pair share outings and confidences and all seems to be going well.Then Prem takes Suman to a party, organized by some of his rich friends. They humiliate Suman and accuse her of scheming to marry Prem. Suman leaves in tears and distances herself from Prem. At that point, Prem suddenly realizes that he has fallen in love with her. With the aid of his mother (who likes the unassuming Suman) and his comic friend Manohar, Prem sets out to win Suman's heart. He succeeds, but Kishan balks at the romance, as he does not want his son to marry a poor nobody. He prepares to send Suman home in disgrace. At this unfortunate moment, Karan returns from overseas. Kishan accuses him of plotting to match Prem and Suman. Karan and Kishan quarrel, and Karan and Suman return to their village humiliated.
Prem refuses to accept the separation. He defies his father and is disinherited. He goes to Suman's village and begs to be allowed to marry her. Karan, angered by Kishan's accusations, says that he will allow the marriage on one condition: Prem must prove that he can support his wife by his own efforts. Prem then works as a truck driver and laborer in the nearby quarry. At the end of the month, when Prem is ready with the required money and comes to win over his lady's father, he is ambushed by his enemies. They nearly succeed in killing him, but he survives. Karan harshly dismisses Prem's efforts, but his stoic determination melts Karan's heart, and he agrees to let Suman marry Prem. By the end of the movie, the estrangement between Karan and Kishan has ended, too. Prem and Suman live happily ever after.

The household is fiercely dominated by Kamla (Bindu) who wants her eldest son to marry a girl whose social status matches theirs.However, contrary to her wishes Suraj follows his heart and marries the not so rich, yet talented Village belle Shalu (Rekha) which infuriates Kamla to no end, and together with her comical, but scheming secretary (Asrani), vows to throw her out of the house with their shrewd and cunning tactics deployed against her.
Meanwhile Shalu tries to be a dutiful daughter-in-law by trying to win the heart of Kamla. She has the full support and understanding of her father-in-law (the hen-pecked husband of Kamla) Kailash Bhandari (Kader Khan) who treats her like a daughter and her young brother-in-law Vicky (Salman Khan) who sometimes cannot bear the atrocities meted out at his sister-in-law and gets vocal in protests against his tyrant mother.
After endless attempts of humiliation and personal attacks, Shalu hits back in her style and her true identity is revealed towards the climax. She shocks everyone with her diction and articulate speech in sharp contrast to her crude village belle identity.
Her father Ashok Mehra (a family friend of the Bhandaris) reveals her true identity. Kamla learns that Shalu is the Oxford-educated daughter of Mehra, who in connivance with her husband (Kailash), had won her way into the family in a way to teach her a lesson in humility and humanity. Kailash gets vocal against his wife for the first time.

Plot
Dhinakar (Jai Akash) hailing from an ordinary middle-class family and Nancy, a software engineer and sole breadwinner for her family are neighbors in love with each other. But their dreams of getting married are in shatters, when their self-centered parents decide on proposals of their own choice.Notwithstanding the overbearing parental pressures, Nancy marries Victor, a multimillionaire businessman, while Dhinakar marries his own aunt's daughter- but not before the lead pair entering into a sly pact.
Dhinakar and Nancy contrives to marry the spouses chosen by their parents, but only to officially dissolve their unhappy unions later and thereby pave way to reunite. After a sequence of events, Nancy successfully convinces Victor about her unreserved enthusiasm for her past love.
