Ravi Krishna (born 2 March 1983) is an Indian actor who works in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Son of noted producer A. M. Rathnam, he made his acting debut in Selvaraghavan's critically acclaimed 7G Rainbow Colony.
Early life
After his schooling, Ravi Krishna went to London where he pursued a BA degree in Multimedia. He completed his diploma in Interactive communication at Pentamedia, while also conentrating on his career in multimedia with non-linear film editing at Sam Media. He disclosed that he never intended to become an actor, but was "roped in" when he visited India for Easter.
Career
Ravi Krishna's debut film 7G Rainbow Colony, directed by Selvaraghavan and produced by his father, was a high critical as well as commercial success, with his performance fetching him the South Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut of that year, amongst other minor awards. Its dubbed Telugu version 7G Brindavan Colony was equally successful, being declared a "super hit". Ravi Krishna, before starting to shoot for the film, took a one month-training in acting at the Film Institute in King's College London. Following that, he acted in S. A. Chandrasekhar's Sukran, sharing screen space with fellow actor Vijay, the Radha Mohan-directed family drama Ponniyin Selvan, and the action-masala flick Kedi, under his brother Jyothi Krishna's
direction. The films, all notably produced by his father, received
mixed reviews and did average business at the box office. His first
direct Telugu venture Brahmanandam Drama Company, too, was a box office bomb, with Ravi Krishna lamenting that the film failed to succeed due to poor budgeting and publicity. His next release was the bilingual Netru Indru Naalai / Ninna Nedu Repu that was critically acclaimed. In 2009, he starred in Kadhalna Summa Illai, a remake of the Telugu film Gamyam got him success in box office again. The film and his performance were highly appreciated by the critics. Aaranya Kaandam, which had been in making for over two years, is his most recent release. Termed as the first neo-noir film in Tamil cinema, the film opened to high critical praise.

Plot
Wanted is a romantic action based movie in which, Rambabu (Gopichand) is a happy go lucky chap who does nothing for career, and doesn’t mind a ‘fight’ for the heck of it. Inspite of this, his parents love him completely because they think they have earned enough for him.
Rambabu comes across Nandini (Deeksha Seth), a house surgeon. When the girl saves his mom’s life, Rambabu falls for her and chases her. The girl asks him to kill Basava Raju (Prakash Raj) and company, as a revenge for killing her honest cop father (Nazar). Rest of the story is deals with how Rambabu takes revange on Basava Raju and kills every one.

Plot
Bujji ( Gopichand) is the only son of a wealthy and influential farmer Anjaneya Prasad (Gadde Rajendra Prasad). The family is well knit together and has strong values and attachments. Bujji comes across Raja Rajeshwari (Taapsee Pannu) in unexpected circumstances and falls in love with her. Raja Rajeshwari is the daughter of a powerful politician Chamundeshwari (Roja) and Shankar Rao (Naresh). The families agree to the marriage and just when everything seems nice and happy, unexpected circumstances cause a rift between them. Into this scenario comes Jo (Shraddha Das) who is madly in love with Bujji. This further escalates the tensions. The rest of the movie is about whether Bujji sorts out the differences between the families and wins his wife back.

Plot
Vijay (Gopichand) comes to Kolkata in search of his lost sister . In a series of events he ends up getting caught in a brawl with some goons and in self defence chops a man's arm off. Later Vijay approaches a college in Kolkata to apply for a job and he is asked to get a signature in the sports quota. He later meets Gymson (Ali) and finds out he is the strongest teacher in the college. He meets a bubbly college girl Swetha (Anushka Shetty) and soon, they fall in love. One day, the gangster's son named Ajay (Ajay) finds out that Vijay is alive and he swears to avenge his father's lost arm. At a party, Ajay found Swetha and asks if she wants to sleep with him. Swetha was disrespected and embarrassed, then later, Ajay follows her and Divya (Poonam Kaur), and cornering the girls with his men. After his father sent him a picture of the person he needs to abduct, Ajay found out that Divya is the key and forced to take her badly. Divya was able to escape from the goons then he finds a man who comes to rescue her, who is apparently Vijay, and he fights them successfully. Divya was injured by the goons but rescued by Vijay. And Vijay revealed to Swetha that he was looking for Divya, his long lost separated sister who hated him for ignoring her before. He was forced to ignore her sister, for his dream for her to have a better life than to live in the streets with him, and he hide his identity from her until he found her in the present day that was painful. But when gangsters chase Swetha and Vijay, Vijay was forced to fight and kill some of Ajay's goons which made Swetha scared on Vijay on the way he fights bloodily.

Plot
The film starts with a flashback. ACP Bose (Jagapati Babu) is a sincere police officer happily married and lives with his parents and younger brother Chandu (Gopichand). Chandu is a college student and he falls in love with his classmate Indu (Anushka). Enter Section Shankar (Yashpal Sharma), the villain who is notorious for settlements and land deals. He kills anyone who comes in his way and does not leave any evidence or witness behind. He takes a loan of INR100 crores from a private bank with the help of a conniving DGP and a politician. He kills the bank’s chairman in order to avoid repayment and puts the blame on Bose. Bose tries to stop Section Shankar. Chandu also gets into disputes with Section Shankar.

Plot
Kali (Gopichand) lives along with his mother on the business of hiring mike set and lighting equipment for wedding and other ceremonies. Jyothi (Meera Jasmine) is a singer who sings chorus in films. A lady police inspector (Ankitha) keeps on following Kali and tries to seduce him to make him fall in her love. Kali is also a threat for many in his area as he answers only with muscle power if things work against him. Knowing this, once Jyothi claims that she is Kali’s person to save herself from a group of eve teasers. Eve teasers leave her for the fear of Kali. In a dramatic sequence, like in any other film Kali happens to encounter Jyothi. Gopichand inclines for Jyothi and proposes her. But she negates and tells her flash back.
Jyothi’s aim is to become an IAS officer. She happens to meet Surya (Sivaji), who is another IAS aspirant, in a train. They make friendship and eventually love sprouts between them. For a few reasons, Surya shuns his idea of becoming IAS officer but encourages Jyothi in her attempts. He also says that he would marry her. He accentuates that he wants to see her as Jyothi Surya IAS. He also makes a nameplate in advance that reads ‘Jyothi Surya IAS’. But accidentally he gets killed in a road accident. Jyothy wishes to remain unmarried throughout her life assuming deceased Surya as her soul mate and husband.
What happens after Jyothy tells her flash back to Kali is rest of the film. Will Kali marry Jyothy? Or will he marry the police inspector who falls behind him.

Plot

Plot
Surendra (T. Gopichand) is an honest and hot-blooded cop. Archana (Gowri Pandit) is the daughter of police commissioner. They meet accidentally and their relationship blossoms into love. When they are about to get engaged, Surendra expresses his reservations due to Archana overhearing her father's conversation with his long estranged sister on the subject of Archana and Sinha marrying. Yagnam (Telugu: యజ్ఞం) is a Telugu film released on July 2, 2004 and was directed by A.S. Ravi Kumar Chowdary. Gopichand and Sameera Banerjee played the lead roles. After the huge success of this film it was remade into Oriya as Mo Mana Khali tori Pain starring Sidhanta, Bijay Mohanty and in tamil as Mannin Mainthan with Sibiraj. The film was dubbed in Hindi as "Aaj Ka Raavanraaj".

Plot
Devraj Veluwamy (R. Madhavan) is a jobless graduate living with his mother. His father Sriram Veluswamy (Nassar) who left his wife and he was killed in an accident. Devraj has been given a job offer in America by his father's friend Raghavan (Abbas). When Devraj arrives in America and immediately meets Zafar (Mukesh Rishi) a taxi driver he drops Devraj to Raghavan's office for job he does not have money to pay Zafar so he asks Zafar to stay there. Devraj shocked by seeing that Raghavan does'nt ive him money or any place. Devraj sees Raghavan's servant and a right-hand of faction leader Reddeppa (Devaraj). He and Sailaja (Sameera Benarjee) - daughter of Reddeppa - grew together. Nayudamma (Raj Kumar) is an arch rival of Reddeppa. Factional feuds between them have resulted in loss of number of lives among their groups. When Reddeppa finds out that his daughter and Seenu are in love, he swings into action by trying to kill Seenu. Rest of the story is all about how Seenu secures the hand of Sailaja (in the movie known as Saiil ama) and how he unites the forces of followers in both the warring groups to teach their masters (Reddeppa and Nayudamma) a lesson or two.

Plot
The story is centered in a village where the parents of first cousins Sujatha (Sadha) and Raghu (Gopichand) decide that both will be married when they become adults. As a child, Sujatha's uncle gives her anklets, which she wears as she grows up. As they grow older, Raghu is caught smuggling money from his house. At school, Raghu beats up a kid for talking to Sujatha. They quarrel, and soon Raghu's family leaves for another village. Sujatha grows to be an attractive college girl, while the villain Raghu becomes a good-for-nothing character. On her way to college, Sujatha meets up with Venkat (Nitin), a poor but handsome, charming enthusiastic boy, and soon after their quarrels they fall in love. Meanwhile, Raghu’s parents, hoping that he will become a responsible person after marriage, decide to carry out his marriage with Sujatha. The whole story takes a turn when Sujatha’s parents learn about her love affair with Venkat. On the day of her marriage, Sujatha elopes with Venkat and the action hots up as they are chased by Raghu and his thugs. Finally, the villain Raghu is defeated in a face-to-face combat by Venkat, and Venkat marries Sujatha.

Prakash Rao produces the flick.The film is expected to release in 2008, May.
A dejected youth Vijay (Ravi Krishna) decides to end his life on railway
track. On the tracks he sees the dead body of a youth called Kishore
and takes away his mobile phone. The call he attends over the phone
brings him fortune. He gets richer and money starts coming to him from
all quarters. Fate takes a different turn. A baddie in the city Moddu
Poorana (Ajay) calls up and threatens Vijay. On other hand, a new girl
Swapna (Akshara aka Rekha), who knew Kishore but never met him, also
enters Vijay's life. How Vijay manages to put together the pieces of his
new life, escape from the deadly goons forms rest of the story.
7G Rainbow Colony is a 2004 Tamil drama film written and directed by Selvaraghavan, starring Ravi Krishna, who debuted in this film, and Sonia Agarwal in lead roles, with music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography handled by Arvind Krishna. The film, released on 15 October 2004, met with critical acclaim and commercial success upon release. Moreover, Ravi Krishna received the Filmfare Best Male Debut (South) for his acting performance, whilst Yuvan Shankar Raja was awarded the Filmfare Best Music Director Award for his highly praised musical score. The film was simultaneously released in the Telugu language as 7G Brindhavan Colony. Later it was remade by another director in Bengali Language as Prem Amar which too became very successful.
Kadhir (Ravi Krishna) belongs to a lower middle class
family, living with his parents and his younger sister in Rainbow
Colony. He is perceived as a good for nothing person as he skips
classes, fails in exams, and gets involved in fights. Kadhir believes
that his father hates him and often quarrels with him, even threatening
to leave the house, only to be persuaded not to do so by his mother.
Kadhir's life changes when a Hindi speaking North Indian family moves
into the same colony. Kadhir finds himself attracted to the daughter of
that family, Anita (Sonia Agarwal). Although he tries to woo her, Anita
treats him with disdain.
Kadhir confesses to Anita that he loves her. He tells her that having
always been ridiculed, he found respite in the fact that she at least
cared to look at him. He promises to wipe her thoughts out of his mind,
as he is not right for her.
Despite himself, Kadhir continues pursuing her. Anita realizes that
Kadhir is not such a useless fellow when his best friend tells her that
he can dismantle and assemble a motorcycle within minutes. She takes
Kadhir to a Hero Honda
dealer and asks them to offer him a job. He is promised a job if he can
assemble a bike. Initially, Kadhir is disinterested and gives up the
task. She tells him that she loves him and asks how he would take care
of her without a job. Kadhir then demonstrates his skill in motorcycle
assembly, securing a job with the dealer.
His father feels proud of his son for the first time, when Kadhir
gives him his offer letter. Though he refuses to openly praise Kadhir,
he does so secretly to Kadhir's mother that night. Overhearing the
conversation, Kadhir realizes his father's love for him and weeps.
The intimacy between Kadhir and Anita is discovered by her mother and
she refuses to permit their marriage even as Kadhir's father tries to
persuade her otherwise. Anita's family is heavily indebted to another
Hindi family that has been supporting them since Anita's father suffered
business losses. Anita's parents want Anita to marry the son of the
family who has helped them.
Anita escapes her home and meets Kadhir and they end up in a hotel
room. Anita reveals that she has made the biggest decision of her life
by deciding to sleep with him, as he should not regret falling in love
with her when she marries the man her parents chose. Though stunned by
her decision, Kadhir makes love to her. The next morning Kadhir and
Anita argue when Kadhir says he wants Anita to live with him, while
Anita accuses him of being attracted to her only because of the sex.
They continue arguing as they exit the hotel. Crossing the road,
Anita is knocked down by a truck as a helpless Kadhir watches. Kadhir is
also hit by a speeding vehicle. Later, in a hospital, everyone mourns
Anita's demise as a badly wounded Kadhir tries to see her, but his
friends stop him. Kadhir learns the only remains from the accident are
her hand. He lies to Anita's father that she was innocent and that he
deceived her into following him
Kadhir is later shown unsuccessfully trying to commit suicide by
throwing himself off a bridge and onto the path of vehicles. His
attempts lead to chaos on a busy city interchange and the crowd beats
him up before he is rescued by a group of nuns. As they are talking to
him he sees Anita passing by. He confronts her and Anita asks Kadhir not
to commit suicide as God wants him to continue living. Kadhir continues
with his life. Although he seems quite normal, it is implied at the end
of the movie that Kadhir is living in hope of meeting his love who has
turned into his guardian angel.
