Plot

Raju (Chiranjeevi) runs between New Zealand, where he owns a restaurant, and India to run a home for orphans started in his sister's name. Swapna (Rambha) is a student in New Zealand, staying with her uncle. Once she goes looking for Raju to take him to task for thrashing her friend. On learning that Raju was not at fault, she promptly falls in love with him.

After that the scene shifts to India when Raju goes there to look after the 'home'. There he keeps a pregnant woman, Sandhya (Rachana), from committing suicide. On learning about her jilted love affair, he decides to help her out. He convinces her that he will act as her husband until the baby is born, whereupon he would leave her, so that she could live with her child peacefully as a deserted wife. With that plan they go to her village. Her father, Rao Bahaddur Rajendra Prasad (Paresh Rawal), after initially refusing, unwillingly gives his nod to the plan under pressure from family members.

The story takes a twist when Swapna comes to India and finds, to her utter shock, Raju as her brother-in-law. Raju's pleadings of innocence fail to convince her. Meanwhile, Raju gets involved in a dispute about the ownership of a lake between their village and a neighboring one. He wins the race that decides its ownership in favor of Sandhya's village. Sandhya's father, happy at the turn of events leading to heightening of the prestige of their village, decides to accept Raju as his son-in-law and decides them married. Now Swapna, who comes to know the truth, is in a turmoil. Meanwhile, Sandhya makes another attempt of suicide, but Raju thwarts it again. In the process he comes to know that she met her lover (Achyut), who was held captive by the neighboring village head (Jayaprakash) and is being forced to marry his daughter. Raju rescues Sandhya's lover and gets them married, giving a happy ending to the movie.

Plot

Sipaayi is a kannada movie which starred V.Ravichandran and mana megastar did a guest role in it. It was released in the year 1996, which is the only year in which megastar does not have a telugu release in his career.

Ravichandran was a huge star in kannada and persuaded megastar to be a part of the movie. It is been said that he did not take any remuneration for this movie. By the way the friendship song in this movie is still popular with kannada cinegoers.

The song is snehaga sneha preethiga preethi. Audio is chart buster at that time. Later movie dubbed in telugu as major eeswar. First set of Cassettes released without Mega Star photo. Later on peoples request one more set of cassettes released. That bunch selled like hot cake and also chiranjeevi looks wise very handsome.

As per the grapevine Ravichandran gifted one formhouse in bangalore. He arranged special flight to attend shooting for chiranjeevi. The movie did fairly well. All songs are chartbusters in Karnataka. In Bellary like centers movie ran more than 70 days. In bellary like centers only telugu films will dominate.

Plot

A college principal Janardan Rao (Vijay Kumar), keen to inculcate discipline in the students, gets his one time student and protégé Rajkumar (Chiranjeevi) posted as Telugu lecturer there. The ideal lecturer that he is, Rajkumar mingles with the students and becomes a comrade in arms and fools around with them in order to control them. One of his students Kanchana (Sakshi Sivanand) falls in love with him and asks him to marry her. He refuses her politely, saying that she will rescind her proposal if she knows his past and the flashback follows. During his student days in Delhi, Rajkumar falls in love with Preeti (Roshni), his guardian angel Janardan Rao's daughter. Vikram (Sathya Prakash) also loves her. When Preeti turns down his overtures, Vikram kills her in rage. Rajkumar in turn kills Vikram and goes to jail for five years. After serving the jail term now he has come back as a lecturer. He parts with Kanchana telling her that he cannot even think of loving any one else except Preeti. One day, when Rajkumar and Janardan Rao were jogging they come across Vikram who was supposed to have been killed by him. The shocked Rajkumar, tries to go after him to kill him. Janardan Rao stops him and tells him that it was Vikram's brother, a mafia don DR (Puneet Issar), who killed Preeti. When confronted by Rajkumar, Janardan tells him that since he had already lost five years of his life, he did not want to rake the past by telling him what he learned later for fear of losing him again. He also makes him promise that he would not go after the life of DR. Helpless Rajkumar swallows his anger. Meanwhile, Rajkumar's student Dilip falls in love with DR's daughter. Mortally afraid of DR, they both approach Rajkumar for his help in getting married. He convinces Janardan Rao about his involvement and takes his cosent. In his attempts to get them married, Rajkumar confronts the ruffians sent by DR. In the process he kills both DR and Vikram and is again sentenced to five years jail. The story ends happily with Rajkumar marrying Kanchana who waits for him through his jail sentence. Box Office: This is a big hit at box Office

Plot

Chiranjeevi's mother dies when he is very small leaving five sisters with him and his father (Dasari Narayana Rao) is arrested for killing his mother. Chiru starts hating his father but loves his sisters a lot. He takes care of them and nurtures them very well. They all grew up. Chiru is always worried about his sisters and tries to keep them secure. He used to punish the vagabonds who try to tease his sisters or even look at them. Things happening smoothly and all the villagers are a bit careful with him. Chiru's uncle has two children, Rajendra Prasad who is in love with Chiru's second sister (Mohini) and Rambha who loves him and wants to marry him. One day as Chiru is out Mohini calls Rajendra Prasad to her house, but things go worse and suddenly Chiru returns before time and finds Rajendra Prasad in his house and asks him why he is there and what is he doing, and Rajendra Prasad mumbles. Enraged, Chiru beats him and tells his uncle that he shall not marry his daughter and Rajendraprasad cannot marry Mohini. The two elope without the consent of Chiru and Chiru stops talking with her. All the other sisters having a soft corner to their sister start hating their brother for not understanding their love. At this time his father returns from jail and attempts to talk to his son and fails. One day his father's assistant comes to Chiru and tells that Dasari is in danger. He was killed by his uncle's partners in business and Chiru comes to know that his uncle was the reason of his mother's death. Dasari asks Chiru to take care of his two daughters born to his second wife and he brings them home. Chiru's sisters start hating them and looking at the two indifferently. When he comes to know of this and scolds them they all leave the home. The villains waiting for an opportunity kidnaps them and Chiru comes to their place for rescue. His sisters knowing the truth plead him for pardon. All that goes well ends well.

Rikshavodu is a 1995 Telugu film starring Chiranjeevi.

Plot

Chiranjeevi has enacted dual role in this film. The film opens with scene where Chiranjeevi come to city in search of livelihood in the city with his granny Manorama. He is befriended by Brahmanandam and taken to Soundarya who gives rickshaws for rent. One day while driving passengers on his rickshaw, he confronts with Nagma who hit it by driving her car arrogantly. He files a suits against her in the court but fails due to the influence of Nagma's wealthy father PareshRawal. After some scenes PareshRawal forces his daughter to marry Chiranjeevi to build up his political career as Chiru has good mass following in his area. Manorama sees Paresh and then reveals Chiru and us about his past. His father(also Chiranjeevi) a good human being and also a village head. Envied by the good name he has in the village Pareshrawal traps his sister and sees that she suicides and also blames his wife Jayasudha that she is illicit. He kills Chiranjeevi in a village fight and that blame is taken by Jayasudha and she is in jail and all the villagers think that she is actual cause of all this. Now the son takes revenge on the villain and opens the truth before the villagers. Also Nagma transforms to be his lovable wife after knowing her fathers' deeds.

Plot

The movie starts with a young man Surendra (Chiranjeevi) landing in a town for a job. He witnesses rivalry between two mafia gangs at that place. After a fight with a street goon, he is recognized by one gang and encouraged to become a don. He rents a room in Madhavi's house, who lives with her sister Roja and granny (Nirmalamma). After few routine scenes, Roja falls in love with Surendra and expresses her love. But Bavaraju Surendra becomes uncertain about his future, rejects Roja's proposal and starts looking for matches for her. Meanwhile, his mother (Sujatha), younger brother, and sister move to his place and start living with him. His mother worries about his lifestyle and his future. One day, she recognizes Kota Srinivasa Rao, the rival gang leader as the destroyer of her family. Surendra's family is kidnapped by Kota and how Surendra rescues them forms the climax of this movie.

Plot

Sitaramaiah (Chiru) is the son of a fairly wealth village man. Two rich, spoiled girls come (Rambha ) and Ramyakrishna) and he teaches them a lesson and embarasses them.take revenge takes over all the workers’ lands. Sitaramaiah’s sister falls in love and becomes pregnant. Their father commits suicide and they move to the city where his sister is false accused of being a prostitute and her lover leaves her. Sitaramaiah is falsely charged for killing the cop who arrested her and he escapes from prison and marries Ramya. At this point her father saves him and he tells him this whole story. Sitaramaiah goes to Ramya’s house and pretends to be two people, himself and a rich guy “Toyota.” After causing much havok, he saves his sister from the villains and reunites her with her lover. This film, though a hit, was very controversial for some vulgar scenes the director added. The interesting thing is that Rambha in Stardust Magazine said the scenes could have been worse if it had not been for Chiru’s intervention. Yes, Chiru has the largest mass fan base in Andhra but that does not mean that filmmakers should misuse it and make him do cheap things, as he has always had a royal, dignified air about him even in his mass films. The film would still have been a big hit if the vulgar scenes were not there. Interesting to note is that despite the bad scenes, his fans and many women did see the film. Chiru was his usual great self. The rest of the cast is ok. Music by Koti is jarring and gets quite boring. The choreography could have been better. One thing to note is that neither Rambha nor Ramya looked dignified with Chiru, but then again that’s probably what they were going for.
