Plot

Athili Sathi Babu (Ravi Teja) is a small-time thief and crook who is crazy about acts of daredevilry who falls in love with Neeraja (Anushka) who is in Mumbai to attend a marriage. Sathibabu makes his way into her heart and she also starts loving him. Sathibabu tells her the truth about him being a thief and resolves to give up crime forever. But before that, he decides to swindle one last person for a large sum of money along with his con-friend (Brahmanandam). He tricks a woman on a railway station (Not Rly Station, it is Bus Stand) and flees with a trunk. This leads sathibabu to Neha, a young girl who was in the trunk instead of the wealth he thought was in the trunk, who thinks that satibabu is her father. Flummoxed by what is happening, but forced to keep neha with her as a police officer (Rajiv Kanakala) keeps his eye on him.

Although he tries keeping neha away from Neeraja’s eyes, the latter finds out about Neha. Angry and hurt, Neeraja leaves for her place leaving Sathibabu heartbroken. Soon, unknown goons attack him, taking him to be a latter named ASP Vikram Rathore (also Ravi Teja), Neha’s real father. Rathore looks exactly like Sathibabu which had caused all the confusion. While many unknown persons help Sathibabu run to safety with Neha in his arms, he is soon surrounded by the goons. It is then that Rathore makes an appearance and saves the day killing every goon by himself. But Rathore soon dies suffering from injuries.

The other policemen who had assisted the ASP then inform Sathibabu of the whole incident. In a village Devgarh, a MLA, Babuji used to trouble and torture people and also annex money from them. His son use to rape the wives of policemen, Rathore immediately arrested him and also made him mentally insane. Babuji's son humiliates police by removing their clothes but was killed by Rathore when he was hung from a tree by the belt of a humiliated inspector. Rathore was attacked by Baabji's brother on Dusshehra where he was stabbed from the back as well as shot in the head while trying to save a village child and was assumed to be dead. But he survived with a brain injury although the goons assumed that he is dead. Effects of this brain injury are later visible and these effects are diminished by water falling on his head.

Sathibabu then adopts Neha, who does not know that her father is dead. Then Sathibabu returns to Devgarh posing as ASP Vikram Rathore and heads to settle the scores with Baabji. Duvua tells Neeraja the truth and she forgives satibabu. Sathibabu, being a goon handles Baabji well with tricks. He sets the MLA's wine factory on fire and makes the villagers rob his food store. A fight ensues in which he defeats all Baabji's men alone. In the end, he fights with Baabji's brother on a rope bridge. Sathibabu ties the rope and cuts the rope and Titla fall to death. Sathibabu gets married to Neeraja and they leave for a new life with Neha and Duvua.

Plot

Sekhar (Ravi Teja) and Madhurima (Jyothika) are happily married couple who work for an advertising company. Nagesh (Subbaraju) and Divakar (Ravi Kale) are notorious encounter specialists. They shoot Sekhar mistaking him to be a Maoist. After realizing their mistake, they frame him as Maoist by planting proof. Lawyer Dharma Reddy (Kota) cheats on his client Sekhar and makes sure that he gets 8-year imprisonment. Madhurima meets Geeta (Tabu) - an investigative journalist. As Madhurima and Geeta unite to get clues, the encounter specialists force Madhurima to commit suicide. In the end, Sekhar kills Nagesh & Divakar.

Plot

Tagore (Chiranjeevi) creates his own vigilante military network called the Anti-Corruption Force (ACF) that eliminates the most corrupt individuals, from all walks of life, in a systematic manner. As pressure builds on Police and Government to track down the Man who masterminds these killings, Balbir Singh (Puneet Issar), is specially summoned to head the task. He is aided by Suryam (Prakash Raj) who, though being just a constable in the mammoth Police force, is compelled by his instincts to see through the underlying design. Together they unravel the mystery and unveil the phenomenon called Tagore, but not before Badrinaryana (Sayaji Shinde), the human face of evil, finds out that his revelry in the belief of Tagore’s death was a mistake he can never make amends for.

Dumm Dumm Dumm

Dumm Dumm Dumm is a 2001 Tamil drama film co-written and directed by Azhagam Perumal and produced by noted director Mani Ratnam under his home studio, Madras Talkies. The film features Madhavan and Jyothika in the leading roles with Vivek, Manivannan and Murali portraying other pivotal roles. The film featured cinematography by Ramji, editing by Sreekar Prasad and music composed by Karthik Raja

The film revolves around an unhappy groom and bride forced into a wedding. The groom backs away because he is reluctant to give up his life of wine and women in the city while the bride is unwilling because she wants to pursue an Engineering degree. The twosome draw up a few plans to stop the wedding but they fizzle out. But just when they begin to think that their getting together may not be too bad an idea after all, a real fight stops the wedding and how they reunite forms the crux of the plot.

The film opened on April 14, 2001 to positive reviews from critics and performed well commercially

Plot

Adhi (Madhavan) is a fun loving city man. Ganga (Jyothika) is a cheerful village belle who wants to do her graduation in Engineering. Marriage between the two is fixed by the elders. The pair resents it and collude to find ways to stop the `doom' as they see it. Later, they realise that they are interested in one another after all. But it is too late as by then enmity has arisen between their families. How they resolve the issue works up the rest of the story.
Aditya and Ganga are two youngsters who have moved to Chennai from the same small village. Their parents meet and arrange for them to be married to each other. Aditya?s life is young, urban and exciting - with girls, parties, bikes, songs, cars, discos, movies and, infrequently, studying. He is not very enthused about the idea of being married to a village belle.
Ganga, who has just ranked second in the Class XII examinations and has been admitted to an engineering college, wants to continue her education, and is equally uninterested in the idea of marriage. After a series of unsuccessful attempts to break off their engagement, both Aditya and Ganga reconcile to their marriage, but a misunderstanding on the day of their wedding turns into a fight between their families. The wedding is called off, and a feud has begun.
Back in Chennai, Ganga stays with her Lawyer uncle. Aditya and Ganga return to their respective lives, but continue to bump into each other. Aditya mistakenly lands in Ganga's uncle's house and Ganga's uncle thinks of Aditya as an intern. Aditya and Ganga find that they are attracted to each other. Love blossoms, and the pair now turn their efforts towards convincing their respective families to set aside their differences and allowing the lovers to be joined in marriage. This is finally achieved, but not without a series of intricate twists, turns and related hilarity.

Vaali

Vaali (Tamil: வாலி) is a 1999 Tamil thriller film written and directed by S. J. Suryah. The film stars Ajith Kumar in a dual role with Simran appearing in another leading role. The supporting cast of the film include Jyothika in her debut venture, Livingston and Vivek. The film's music is composed by the music director, Deva while Jeeva was in charge of the cinematography. The film released on 1 May 1999 and went to become a commercial success as well as becoming critically acclaimed.

In Hindu mythology, Vaali is the name of one of the monkey princes who has been blocked in a cave by his brother Sugreev by mistake and later marries his "widow" and the plot of the film too follows this legend. Deva (Ajith) and Shiva (Ajith) are the twins. Deva, the elder, is deaf and mute. But he is a genius, an expert at lip-reading and the head of a successful advertising company. Shiva loves and trusts his brother. Priya (Simran) wants to marry only someone who is an ex-smoker, an ex-drunkard and ditched by a girl but still pining for her. Learning this, Shiva invents an old romance between him and Sona (Jyothika) and finds his way into Priya's heart.
Deva meanwhile chances upon Priya and becomes obsessed with attaining her. His obsession continues even after his younger brother gets married to the girl of his dreams and he devises various means of getting close to Priya and keeping Shiva and her separated. Some of the methods Deva uses to woo Priya are masochistic (wounding his hand by the running car engine to stop the couple’s first night) and psychotic (trying to kill his brother in so many ways).
Priya realises the not-so-honorable intentions Deva has towards her but Shiva refuses to believe her and has full faith in his brother. He even goes as far as to take Priya to a psychiatrist. To get away from it all, Shiva and Priya go on a long-delayed honeymoon. But Deva shows up there too. Shiva watches Deva kissing the photo of Priya and realises Priya was right all along. While Shiva is away, Priya has to take care of Deva. Deva beats Shiva mercilessly, packs the unconscious Shiva in a gunny bag and throws him in a lorry.
Deva disguises himself as Shiva and goes near Priya. Priya comes to know he is Deva and escapes from him before shooting him with her revolver. Deva falls in pool and when Shiva comes she narrates the whole incident to him. Suddenly, Deva comes back to life, but Shiva immediately kills him with the revolver. Deva's soul talks about his inability to express his feeling as he was mute. His grave with lots of flowers grown on it is shown.

Mass (Telugu: మాస్) is a 2004 Tollywood film written and directed by Raghava Lawrence. The film has Akkineni Nagarjuna and Jyothika in lead roles with Charmme Kaur playing a supporting role. Akkineni Nagarjuna also produced the film on his home production, Annapurna Studios. The film released on 23 December 2004. The film was dubbed into Tamil with the title Veeran, which also became a blockbuster and Hindi as Meri Jung - One Man Army.

Mass (Telugu: మాస్) is a 2004 Tollywood film written and directed by Raghava Lawrence. The film has Akkineni Nagarjuna and Jyothika in lead roles with Charmme Kaur playing a supporting role. Akkineni Nagarjuna also produced the film on his home production, Annapurna Studios. The film released on 23 December 2004. The film was dubbed into Tamil with the title Veeran, which also became a blockbuster and Hindi as Meri Jung - One Man Army.

Plot

Mass (Akkineni Nagarjuna) is an orphan, who bonds well with his landlord's son Adi (Sunil). He is behind a collegian Anjali (Jyothika) who happens to be the daughter of Vizag city's mafia don Satya (Raghuvaran). This restricts her from falling for him, as it would land him in danger but she finally gives in after some time. She suggests that he ties the knot immediately before her brother (Rahul Dev) and father try separating them. The gangsters in the process kill Mass's best friend Adi, when he tries to stop them when they try separating the lead pair, before their marriage. The hero moves into Vizag and stays in an apartment hiding his identity to take revenge on the mafia dons. Finally his quest for revenge is complete, and also he eliminates the anti-social elements in the society by killing them.
