Plot

Khadgam is an Patriotic movie. In which, Koti (Ravi Teja) is a hero wannabe. He has only one goal in life. That is to become a hero and to be called as 'Babu' by the industry people.

Amjad (Prakash Raj) is an auto driver. Though extremely religious Muslim, Amjad is very patriotic about India. His younger brother Azhar(Shafi) is been missing since one year. The cops of Hyderabad arrested a dreadful ISI terrorist Masood. In a bid to get him released, the Pakistan authorities train Azhar and send him across to Hyderabad to create riots and build communal tension. Azhar comes to Hyderabad and stays with his brother Amjad. Azhar's secret activities include devising and executing plans to release Masood.

Radha Krishna (Srikanth) is a sincere and efficient police officer. But he is very serious in nature and has enormous hatred towards Pakistan for the reasons best known to him.

The rest of the story includes how these three protagonists save the terrorist Masood from fleeing to Pakistan.

Plot

Bablu Chaudhary (Shahrukh Khan) is an aspiring cook in search of a job. He applies for an open position at a hotel, where he meets Sonia Kapoor (Juhi Chawla), who is the Banquet Manager. They are soon attracted to each other and Bablu falls in love with her. However, one day, the police arrive at his doorstep, arresting him thinking he is Manu Dada (Shahrukh Khan). When Manu learns of his duplicate, he decides to switch roles with him and kill him in order to start afresh. However, when Manu kidnaps Bablu's mother (Farida Jalal), Bablu accepts the identity of Manu in order to rescue both his mother and Sonia, who has gotten involved, too. With the help of police and Manu's girlfriend Lily (Sonali Bendre), the cook is able to rescue his dear ones and all ends well.

Plot

Hari and Vikram (both played by Shahrukh Khan) are twins of the head of Mayur group of industries. Hari is a registered pilot and elder of the two brothers. Hari's father had promised his business partner that Hari will be married to the latter's daughter. Hari tries to resist the marriage but receives clear signals that his father won't budge. Once during a test flight, while Hari is flying solo, he fakes an accident that leads everyone to believe he died.

In reality, Hari survives. When he finally comes to the shore, he is in Mumbai. He meets a poor girl (Rajeshwari Sachdev) and the two fall in love. They get married and start their own family. Tragedy strikes when their house gets accidentally burnt and Hari and his wife die in the fire. Their son Nandu (Sunny Singh) is brought up by his aunt and Hari's sister-in-law, Bijuriya (Sonali Bendre).

When Hari's son is 8 years old, Vikram comes to Mumbai. Vikram was never satisfied by the story that his brother died in a plane crash. After years of investigating, Vikram correctly predicts that his brother survived and most probably landed in India. He learns that Hari is dead, but his son is alive.

Vikram believes that as Hari's son (whom he un-affectionately calls Master Mayur) is the next generation of Mayur industries, he should be taken back with him. Bijuriya, who is a bar dancer, objects to this. Vikram and Bijuriya have not met yet. Vikram does not even know who has brought his nephew up. Bijuriya knows that if Vikram goes to court, she will lose Nandu forever.

Bijuriya pretends to be Princes Sonali, a royal family member to who was Vikram's nephew's guardian. Vikram falls for her charade and slowly falls in love with her. But one day, her truth is exposed to him. Vikram decides to take his nephew back with him immediately. The nephew, who detests his newfound uncle and adores his aunt like a mother figure, protests this, but Vikram remains adamant.

Bijuriya forces Nandu to go with Vikram; she decides to sleep with a goon who had her eyes on her, just to fight for the child one last time. When Vikram learns about this, he comes to the goon's hideout just before he is about to rape Bijuriya. Vikram overpowers the goon and saves Bijuriya. He is convinced that Bijuriya will be the best parent for his nephew. Vikram marries Bijuriya and takes her and his nephew back with him.

Plot

The film opens with a view of the vast expanse of the Thar desert in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The credit sequence outlines the infiltration of arms and ammunition from Pakistan across the international border into Rajasthan, India. The arsenal makes its way through numerous couriers and gun runners before a part of the consignment ends up in a tribal hamlet in a forest in peninsular India near the town of Chandrapur. A local criminal and gun runner, Bala Thakur, delivers the weapons to a renegade forest-dwelling tribal leader, Veeran (Govind Namdeo), who intends to unleash terror and establish his hegemony in the region. Soon after a bus carrying a wedding party is intercepted by Veeran and his henchmen and the occupants are looted and then massacred. The incident sends shock waves across the country and a stunned political leadership reacts swiftly by assigning the investigation to a special operative team of Mumbai Police Crime Branch. The team lands in Chandrapur and during routine investigations unearths a possible link between the massacre and Bala Thakur, who fled earlier after being warned of the team's impending arrival.

The scene shifts to Ajay Singh Rathod's (Aamir Khan) residence in Colaba, Mumbai and him attending a concert by the famed Pakistani vocalist Gulfam Hassan (Naseeruddin Shah) where he spots a familiar face, Seema (Sonali Bendre). Ajay and Seema had attended the same college in University of Delhi and she had fallen in love with him. He sooner by her actions realises this. During the concert there are intermittent flashbacks to Ajay and Seema's past in Delhi and the tragic turn of events when Ajay loses his elder brother to a terrorist attack in retaliation for Ajay's father (Akash Khurana) agreeing to testify against some terrorists in the court; his father who was abducted is dumped outside his house badly beaten up that leaves him partly paralysed. The grief-stricken family moves to Mumbai where Ajay's kaka (uncle) runs an establishment and Ajay metamorphoses into a determined young man, who devotes himself to becoming an IPS (Indian Police Service) officer. As an ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police), he makes a good reputation for himself as an honest, tough and diligent cop. Ajay and Seema meet at the end of the concert and cautiously rekindle their relationship. Seema, whose elder brother was the organizer of the concert, introduces him to Gulfam Hassan and after Ajay hands over a recorded collection of Gulfam's earliest recitals, the two become friends.

Meanwhile, the operative team headed by ACP Rathod is working overtime to establish the links between hostile organizations who aim to destabilise India through acts of terrorism, the gun-runners in the local criminal gangs and the Chandrapur massacre. He puts together a team of specialists, though his attempts to ensure the participation of Inspector Salim (Mukesh Rishi) suffer a setback. Salim is an honest and upright police officer who is credited with the best intelligence gathering network in the force. However, a botched attempt at bringing in a notorious gangster Sultan (Pradeep Rawat) results in Sultan escaping and the death of three havaldars (constables). His superiors are furious at what they perceive as his recklessness and he is reassigned to a desk job. A distraught Salim believes that he is being victimised since he is Muslim and refuses to cooperate with Ajay, leading to some friction between the two. Salim however, comes up with a lead on Bala Thakur, when Ajay and his team seemed to have reached a dead end, and the two start working together. An encounter at the criminals' rendezvous results in the death of Bala Thakur and Ajay is seriously injured. Though Sultan and his right-hand man Shiva (Makrand Deshpande) manage to escape, the operation is deemed a success as the team is able to intercept a large consignment of lethal arms and ammunition meant for terrorist acts around the country.

The investigations seemed to have reached a dead end, when a chance clue leads the investigators to Bahid in Rajasthan and to "Mirchi Seth" Rambandhu Gupt (Akhilendra Mishra). The investigative team save for Ajay and Salim camp in Bahid and gather all possible information on Mirchi Seth. Ajay comes over to Bahid to investigate and meets Gulfam who is temporarily staying in his ancestral manor near Bahid. The events unfold to reveal Gulfam to be the mastermind behind the intrusion of arms into India at the behest of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Gulfam attempts to derail the investigation through political means and ordering an assault on Ajay to subvert the investigation, but of no avail. The repeated failures on Gulfam's part displease the senior officers in Pakistani Intelligence, who dispatch Major Aslam Baig (Sri Vallabh Vyas) to subtly convey the message to Gulfam – Perform or Perish.

The investigative teams prepares for a final assault on the gun-running operation and in the pursuit of Mirchi Seth land up at Gulfam's mansion. Ajay feels betrayed when he learns of Gulfam's treachery, but is aware of lack of substantial evidence to indict Gulfam for his crimes. He goads and tricks Gulfam into killing Baig and arrests him for the offense. Gulfam, unable to stand the humiliation, commits suicide and the team returns triumphant to Mumbai to much accolades for busting the terrorist racket. At Mumbai Airport, Salim is tipped on the whereabouts of Veeran and they embark on another investigation.

Plot

Ramkishen (Alok Nath) is a wealthy and respected industrialist. His family is a model of happiness and togetherness, rare in modern times. He has three sons-- Vivek (Mohnish Bahl), Prem (Salman Khan) and Vinod (Saif Ali Khan)-- as well as a daughter, Sangeeta (Neelam Kothari). Vivek is the son of Ramkishen's dead first wife. Mamta (Reema Lagoo), Ramkishen's second wife, has brought up Vivek and he is very close to her. Prem, Vinod and Sangeeta are Mamta's own children. Vivek is disabled in one arm because of a childhood accident in which he saved Prem and Vinod. The three brothers stay in a palatial house with their parents. Sangeeta is married to Anand (Mahesh Thakur) and has a little daughter, Radhika. The three of them stay with Anand's elder brother Anurag (Dilip Dhawan), sister-in-law Jyoti (Sheela Sharma) and two young nephews.

On Ramkishen and Mamta's twenty-fifth wedding anniversary, there is a large get-together of family members and friends. The guests include Vivek's friend Anwar (Shakti Kapoor), Ramkishen's friend Preetam (Satish Shah), family friend Dharamraj (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) and many others. At the anniversary party, Vivek is introduced to Sadhna (Tabu), the daughter of another industrialist. The next day, Sadhna's father Adarsh (Rajeev Verma) calls on Ramkishen and proposes marriage between his daughter and Vivek. Everyone is overjoyed at the proposal. Vivek hesitates, feeling that he might be a burden on Sadhna with his disability. However, she sticks by her decision. Vivek is touched by this and gets married to her.

Preetam's daughter Dr. Preeti (Sonali Bendre) and Prem have loved each other since they were children, but have never spoken of their feelings. They are unsure about each other, but their mutual love is obvious to everyone else. Their engagement is finalized after a comic scene in which Dharamraj's daughter Sapna (Karishma Kapoor) and Vinod pretend to be Preeti and Prem, acting as though they like each other. Later, Vivek makes the introverted Prem realize the importance of expressing his love for Preeti. From then on, Prem and Preeti start enjoying romantic moments together. Vinod and Sapna are very fun-loving and flirtatious with each other. They, too, get engaged. Ramkishen feels that he can now retire from the business and let his sons take over. He decides to appoint Vivek, the most experienced of his sons, the Managing Director (MD) of his companies.

The twist to the story comes when Anurag throws Anand, Sangeeta and Radhika out of his house without any share in the family assets. Dharamraj and three snobbish socialite friends of Mamta convince her that she must compel Ramkishen to divide the house and business equally among his sons. They convince Mamta that fights and complications will occur in future, if the three brothers live in the same house with their wives and children. They especially warn her against Vivek because he is not her biological son. This leads to a tangled web of problems and sadness. Vivek decides to go on a self-imposed exile. He moves to Rampur (the home village of his father) with Sadhna. Vinod insists on accompanying them. Prem is appointed the MD of the companies. However, he makes it clear that he considers Vivek the real MD and himself just a deputy. Preeti and Prem also cancel their wedding, disappointing Mamta. Preeti and Sapna take care of Sadhna, who is expecting a child.

Anurag faces professional and domestic problems. Realizing the importance of Anand, Sangeeta and Radhika in his life, he welcomes them back. Sangeeta talks to Mamta and describes how Vivek had helped her during this crisis. Mamta realizes her fault and goes to Rampur to bring Vivek and Sadhna home. The family is re-united. Sadhna gives birth to a child. Some time later, Prem and Preeti get married to each other, as do Vinod and Sapna. Dharamraj accepts his mistakes. Vivek takes charge as MD of Ramkishen's companies. At the end, there is a hint that Vivek's disabled hand is beginning to get healed.

Plot

Bangalore-based Police Inspector Amar, a reformed juvenile, convicted for knifing a male, is approached by Mumbai's Police Commissioner Vinod Talwar, and assigned the task of locating the killer(s) of a businessman, Khanna. Amar soon finds out that the culprit is none other than his childhood friend, Raja Lokhande. Plot

Music director Ajay (Ajay Devgan) argues with his wife Sonia (Sonali Bendre) over whether to give birth to their child in a foreign country or in India (because of the insecurity caused by the Mumbai riots).

Ajay soon learns that his mother (Pooja Bhatt) has been burned by a group of Muslim rioters while leaving a church and is in critical condition. In flashback, the struggles his mother had to undergo to raise her children are shown. She was in love with a Hindu film producer Raman Desai (Nagarjuna Akkineni) but was not allowed to marry him on account of her Muslim faith. He marries her but does not document or acknowledge their marriage as it was done without any traditional upholdings. The fact that she had children with a Hindu man forces her to hide her faith and live her life as a Christian even in front of her son.

After his father's death, Ajay realises his mother is a Muslim. She makes him promise to bury her according to her faith when she dies, for it is only through a proper burial that she will be able to find herself reunited with her lover in heaven. Ajay's mother succumbs to the burns. Sonia learns about her mother-in-law's past life and decides not to leave Ajay. She stands by him and supports his decision to bury his mother. However, Ajay's task is impeded by a fundamentalist leader Subodhbhai (Ashutosh Rana) who wanted to make political issue and encourage Hindu youth to kill Muslims. Anand (Akshay Anand) happens to be a youth leader and Ajay's brother. But when Anand comes to know about Subodhbhai's intentions he stands by his brother's side to bury his mom as per Muslim faith. Plot

Shankar Dada (Chiranjeevi) is a good hearted don in Hyderabad who runs away from home at a young age. He extorts money, kidnaps and roughs up people for money with the help of his faithful sidekick ATM (Srikanth). But, he lies to his old age father (Girish Karnad) that he is a doctor in the city. Every year when they come to the city to visit him, he pretends to be a doctor and makes them happy. Finally the drama comes to an end, as one of the doctors in the locality Lingam (Paresh Rawal) tells Shankar’s parents the truth when they try to strike an alliance between their son and his daughter Sunitha (Sonali Bendre). Shankar decides to complete MBBS and become a doctor to live up to his parent’s wishes. He joins the college at which Lingam is the principal, and turns into a menace to him. There is a parallel track where he cures the patients in the hospital, not through medicine, but by showing love and affection towards them. How he lives up to his parent’s dream and makes Sunitha fall in love with him, while gaining the principal’s acceptance forms the story’s crux.
