Plot

Yuvakudu is the story of a free spirited college student, Siva (Sumanth), who shares a very close bond with his mother, played by Jayasudha . Siva is the son of an army officer who's killed in the line of duty. Despite the disapproval of his mother, Siva secretly harbors a strong desire of following in his father's footsteps by joining the army. The fun loving youngster also falls in love with Sindhu(Bhumika) but the girl does not reciprocate his love. She rejects his marriage proposal and the relationship takes a negative tone. Knowing her son's love for Sindhu, Jayasudha takes the responsibility of bringing them together. She meets Sindhu who too takes an instant liking for Jayasudha. Jayasudha eventually asks Sindhu to marry her son. Sindhu accepts the proposal saying that she's doing so only for the sake of Siva's mother. Despite a rocky start to their marriage, their relationship finally settles down. However the story takes an unexpected turn when Siva is selected into the Army. He joins the army against the wishes of his mother and their relationship turns sour. How Siva eventually proves himself in the line of duty and reconciles with his mother forms the rest of the story.

Darling

Darling (Telugu: డార్లింగ్) is a 2010 Indian Telugu-language drama film, directed by A. Karunakaran. The film stars Prabhas and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles while tamil actor Prabhu plays a key role. The music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The film was released on April 23, 2010 and has received positive reviews from both critics and the audience. The film was a commercial success at the box office.

Plot

The movie starts in the late 1980s when a group of friends celebrate their farewell party. They promise each other to keep in touch. Among them are Hanumantha Rao (Tamil actor Prabhu Ganesan), who has a son named Prabha, and Vishwanath (Ahuthi Prasad) who has daughter Nandini. To reach their professional goals, Vishwanath and his daughter travel to Switzerland, while Hanumantha Rao becomes a criminal lawyer and settles in India. Thus, Prabha and Nandini get separated in their childhood. Years later, these old friends call for a reunion where a grown-up Prabha (Prabhas) is eager to see his love Nandini (Kajal Agarwal). But, another girl Nisha (Shraddha Das), daughter of local don (Mukesh Rishi), attempts suicide when Prabha doesn’t accept her love. Her father tries to kill Prabha and his friends but Prabha gets out of trouble by faking a story about his childhood love Nandini.

During the reunion at the farm house of Buchchaiah (Chandra Mohan), Prabha happens to see Nandini. He tries various tantrums to impress her, but in vain. His attempts are always thwarted by her brother. One day, he knowingly gives a lead about his sister's favorite game of Basketball, forcing Prabha and his team to create a Basketball court. As they play basketball, in comes Rishi (Santhosh), as Appala Raju's (M. S. Narayana) son, who gatecrashes into the game as he is cheered by Nandini. Both Rishi and Prabha both vie with each other to impress Nandini, leading to a cold war between them. Meanwhile, Prasanna, daughter of Buchchaiah, confesses to Prabha that she was in love with a man and she would marry him if she could pay a dowry of 50 lakhs, and she forces Prabha to talk to her father into marrying off her to her boyfriend. Prabha is able to convince Buchchaiah about his daughter's marriage with the help of his father and his friends. Impressed by his managing skills, Nandini too begins to like Prabha.

Jealous of Nandini's liking for Prabha, Rishi's friends try to paralyse Prabha by misconnecting the power cable of an iron box. Hanumantha Rao, unaware of their conspiracy, accidentally touches the iron box and gets an electric shock, leading to a scuffle between Prabha and Rishi. The fight results in Hanumantha Rao ejecting Prabha out of the house. Later, Prabha finds out that Rishi is not Appala Raju's son, but the nephew of Vishwanath. Vishwanath betrayed his father (Kota Srinivasa Rao) by marrying his girlfriend rather than the girl chosen by his father. As a result, he is ousted by his father. Hanumantha Rao, on behalf of Viswanath negotiates with his father for a reconciliation. After many attempts, he agrees to forgive Viswanath but on the condition that his daughter's son should marry Nandini. Prabha decides not to reveal his love for Nandini and makes up his mind to leave. As Prabha tries to leave, Nandini reveals that she too loves him. But to save his father's reputation, he doesn't reveal his love to her and leaves the place leaving Nandini heartbroken. Nisha's father too realizes the truth that the story that Prabha had said was a lie, and tries to kill Prabha. Meanwhile, Nandini gets to know the truth behind Prabha's silence and convinces her father that she loves Prabha and he should get her married to Prabha. Prabha is rescued from Nisha's father in time by Nandini, who urges Nisha's father to spare Prabha as both of them love each other. The film ends with Prabha and Nandini getting married.

Plot

Dhanalakshmi a.k.a. Dhana (Sneha Ullal) is the lone daughter of a landlord who has over Rs 50 crore property. As she lost her mother in her childhood, her father marries another woman (Kavitha). However, Dhana faces neglect from her stepmother. After Dhana's father passes away, there is no one to console her and the only friend who showed affection was Balaji. (There is one scene where he rescues her from a snake) He too leaves her after she completes her Class X. After Dhana grew up, she bequeaths her father's property and her mother eyes it and wanted to marry Dhana against her wishes. So Dhana escapes from house and takes shelter in her friend's house in Hyderabad. Aravind (Yasho Sagar), son of a garage owner, who moves like a vagabond with friends sans any responsibility. He comes across Dhanalaxmi and loses his heart to her. However, after a few encounters, Dhana gets caught by her stepmother and when she was about take her away, Aravind helps her from the abduction with the help of police. This makes Dhana to befriend with Aravind and she reveals her childhood friendship and tells Aravind that she is in love with Balaji and can't imagine any other in his place. After refusal, Aravind decides to go to Kolkata in search of a job and at the same time, Dhana also comes to know that Balaji is in Kolkata. They both again meet in train and accidentally Dhana misses the train during the journey. So Aravind helps her reach Kolkata to meet her childhood friend Balaji. In the process, Aravind gets severely hurt in the hands of a criminal, who tries to implicate Dhana in a narcotics case. Later, Aravind takes Dhana to Balaji's house in Kolkata. Dhana's stepmother also reaches Kolkata and agrees for Dhana's marriage with Balaji. When the marriage was about to take place, Dhana realises that her stepmother enacted a drama and created a fake Balaji to impress Dhana. Again Aravind comes to her rescue and at that time Dhana realises that she was in love with Aravind and the film ends on a happy note with the success of love between Dhana and Aravind.

Happy (Telugu: హ్యాపీ) is a 2006 Indian romance film directed by A. Karunakaran. The film stars Allu Arjun, Genelia D'Souza and Manoj Bajpai in lead roles; music was scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film was produced by Allu Aravind and released on 27 January 2006. Upon release, the film was dubbed into Malayalam and released with the title Happy be Happy. The Telugu version was moderately successful at the box office whereas the Malayalam version was a smash hit collecting Rs 4.22 lakhs in its opening week at Ernakulam. The film was remade in Bengali under the title Bolo Na Tumi Amar starring Dev and Koyel and in Oriya under the title Loafer starring Babushan and Archita Sahu.

Story

Madhumati (Genelia D'Souza) is the daughter of a politician who turns out to be a martinet at home with his attachment on power. He affirms that the behavior of his daughter would influence his caste politics. Hence he tries to keep her from continuing her MBBS as she goes to college and moves with friends of different mentalities. However, Madhumathi, comes to third year of medicine by maintaining her dignity and without involving in any affairs of love. Her focus is completely on studies. Once, she goes for a medical camp along with her class mates to Araku. She meets Bunny (Allu Arjun) randomly in the woods nearby the medical camp. The story starts with his funny and playful encounters with Madhumathi.
Bunny comes to Hyderabad and joins in a pizza shop as a delivery boy and continues his MBA by attending evening classes.
In an incident, Madhumathi’s father thinks that his daughter is dating someone and comes to believe that its none other than Bunny . He decides to get her married to a person of his own caste who settled in a top position: Manoj Bajpai, the deputy commissioner of police.
Madhumati is more attached to her studies than marriage. She goes to Bunny and places the blame on him saying that he would be the reason for her suicide should she be forcibly married. Knowing that, Bunny plans to stop the marriage and meets the DCP. Bunny lies to him and convinces the DCP that he is in love with Madhumathi. But Bunny gets caught in his own white lie. Manoj Bajpai believes Bunny’s words and gets him married to Madhumathi in a registered marriage. He also gives his new flat for the couple to live in.
Madhumathi becomes estranged from her family and, in another series of events, ends up living with Bunny (or rather Bunny ends up living with her). Throughout their times together, mishaps and comedic events happen; Bunny ends up falling for Madhumati. Being separated from her family Madhumati has no way of paying for fees and one day expresses this to Bunny. Bunny gets into film industry as a stuntman taking high risk to his life to pay the semester fees of Madhumathi’s MBBS. Madhumathi scores low in a subject and gets a negative feedback from her professor. To focus on her studies, she scorns Bunny and drives him out of the house.
Madhumathi then focuses on her studies and achieves her MBBS diploma with honors. On the day of her graduation she admits to her friend that she is indeed in love with Bunny. Her friend reveals that Bunny risked his life to pay her college tuition by doing dangerous stunts. He told her not to tell Madhumathi, and he is going back to Vizag that day. With regret, Madhumati tries to reconcile with Bunny and goes to meet him at the train station. On the way there she gets caught by a road block set up by a policeman who is her father's archnemesis. As she was giving a lift to a sex worker (she didn't know at the time), she is jailed under prostitution charge. Soon her father is arrested as he storms the station and slaps the police who arrested her in a rage of fury. She manages to contact Bunny with a cell phone provided by one of the prostitutes, and Bunny comes to the station. Bunny also had an incident with the policeman who arrested Madhumati as he once berated him in public for smoking by a gas station. Bunny becomes enraged and begins to fight with the police. As he is about to deliver a finishing blow, the DCP who was transferred by Madhumati's father in contempt of him refusing Madhumati's hand in marriage comes back just in time and stops Bunny. He says he'll take care of everything and Bunny and Madhumati leave.

Tholi Prema

Tholi Prema (Telugu: తొలిప్రేమ; English: First Love) is a 1998 Telugu romantic comedy film directed by Karunakaran and produced by G.V.G Raju. It stars Pawan Kalyan and Keerthi Reddy in lead roles. The film was later remade in Hindi as Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai starring Tusshar Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. It was dubbed in Tamil as Aanandha Mazhai. This movie was mentioned in the 2006 Telugu movie Happy starring Allu Arjun and Genelia D'Souza.

Plot

Balu (Pawan Kalyan) is the youngest son in his family and a careless guy. His father always scolds him, but his uncles and mother dote on him and so do his brothers. He has a bunch of friends (played by Ali, Venu Madhav and others) and hangs around with them. On one occasion, Balu's father is angry with him; Balu leaves the house to be left alone for a while (on the eve of Diwali). He chances to see Anu (Keerthi Reddy) on the road with some kids and he falls for her. She has returned from the USA to spend time with her grandfather (P.J. Sharma).
Anu is impressed with Balu when he saves a kid's life on the motorway; she tries to get his autograph but fails. Balu leaves for Ooty for his studies and accidentally meets Anu on the way when his taxi breaks down. Anu gives Balu a lift and leaves her driver to help the taxi driver. While on the way, Anu's car slips into a valley due to a rash lorry driver. Balu makes an effort to save Anu and rescues her to safer ground. Trying to save Anu, Balu slips off into a valley. Anu is depressed that Balu sacrificed himself to save her, searches for him and loses hope. Balu is saved by a truck driver and admitted to a hospital. On his return, Anu meets Balu at his house to express her gratitude. Balu thinks of proposing his love but is warned by his sister (Munny). Balu develops a friendship with Anu but never dares to express his love. Vasuki gets married and leaves. At the same time, Anu gets admission into Harvard University (USA) and is about to leave. They remain silent until they reach the airport. Just before Anu leaves, she realizes that she would miss him and they agree to meet after realizing their goals.
