Plot
Shankar Narayana (Prakash Raj) is a politician driven by idealistic values and a sense of social service. His followers are his brother (Rajiv Kanakala), and supporters (Sayaji Shinde and Supreet). The people of Shankar's constituency elect him as an M.L.A. during the political realm of the late N. T. Rama Rao. Although Shankar is an ardent follower of NTR, he does not wish to join NTR's party, and establishes his own independent political empire. Shankar's dream is to see his son as a politician revered by people. During this time, Shankar meets with a fatal accident.
Years later, Shankar's son Ajay Kumar (Mahesh Babu) is a daring super-cop in Mumbai. He is on a mission to apprehend mafia don Nayak (Sonu Sood), who is involved in illegal drug trade, extortion and arms trafficking. It is later revealed that Shankar actually survived the accident but ended up in a state of coma. However, this truth is hidden by Shankar's family from the people. Ajay maintains a low profile to catch Nayak. In an undercover operation in Istanbul, Ajay gets hold of Nayak's brother, Bunty (Ajaz Khan). Later, it is revealed that corrupt opposition leader Mallesh Yadav (Kota Srinivasa Rao), who is also tied up with Nayak, was the mastermind behind Shankar's accident, and had planned to derail Shankar's political empire.
Ajay falls in love with Prashanthi (Samantha Ruth Prabhu), who he meets in Istanbul during his operation. Prashanthi is the daughter of Ajay's boss (Nassar), a cop who reports to the police commissioner (Suman) in Hyderabad city. When Ajay's dad comes out of the coma, doctors advise his family that Shankar is at risk if he encounters or hears anything upsetting, disturbing or shocking. Ajay hides the events surrounding his dad's accident. Ajay shifts his family to his dad's previously abandoned mansion, which is now being used for filmmaking.
Ajay creates a dummy political set-up at this mansion. In the guise of a reality television program, Ajay tricks an aspiring but unsuccessful film actor Padmasree (Brahmanandam), by making him believe that the television show is being sponsored by film star Nagarjuna Akkineni's television channel, and that Nagarjuna wants to offer Padmasree very high remuneration for his realistic performance in the show. On the other hand, an aspiring actor Bokka (M. S. Narayana) is also tricked by Ajay. Ajay also tricks Mallesh Yadav with a real estate business deal, to exploit Mallesh Yadav's criminal nexus. Ajay keeps this drama under wraps from Shankar, by making Shankar believe that Ajay is now an M.L.A. revered by people fulfilling his dad's wishes. He also marries his love, Prashanthi, to make his father happy. The rest of the plot reveals the politician-criminal nexus behind Shankar's accident, the comic misadventures which lead to Shankar knowing the truth, and Ajay's retaliation to Nayak and Mallesh Yadav's political corruption. In the end, Ajay's betallion and himself reach the farmhouse, or the jungle, where the fight happens...He retrieves the life of the right-hand of Nayak, and soon barges into the farm house, traps Shayaji Shinde, who will plead for life, but will be killed from behind by Nayak, and as Ajay rushes out to capture the villain, he runs through the thick dense forest and kicks up a wooden blaze fired stick, and thrashes the bad guy's face, which froms a breath taking climax scene with lots of immense action..Nayak and Ajay get physical towards the end, and Ajay defeats Nayak, by saying, his berth is confirmed and is killed by Shankar anna ironically.

Eega (English: Housefly) is a Telugu, fantasy film written and directed by telugu director S S Rajamouli, released simultaneously in Tamil as Naan Ee and the Telugu version of the film was also dubbed into Malayalam as Eecha and is to be dubbed into Hindi in 3-D as Makkhi. Plot
Nani (Nani) is a young man who makes fireworks. He lives in a house opposite Bindu (Samantha), who is a micro artist and who also runs Project 511, an NGO. Nani is in in love with Bindu for two years and has been constantly showing his love for Bindu. Bindu too loves Nani back but plays hard to get and hides her love from him.
Sudeep (Sudeep) is a multi-millionaire industrialist who also happens to be a womaniser. He had even killed his wife for her money. One day, Bindu goes to Sudeep's office to see if he would like to donate money to her NGO. Sudeep is about to send her away, until he sees Bindu through the opening of his office door. He immediately lusts for her, and calls her into his office. Bindu, not knowing of Sudeep's true intentions, tells him all about her NGO, who donates INR 15 lakhs to it. Bindu thanks Sudeep, who asks her out to lunch.
At the restaurant, Bindu sees Nani and his friends installing fireworks across the street. Sudeep notices that Bindu keeps staring at Nani and becomes jealous. Later, when Sudeep and Bindu stop at a market, Nani also comes and walks with Bindu. Sudeep follows them the whole time. That night, Bindu works late and she needs an escort to go home, so she calls Nani who comes to her office and walks her home. At this point, Nani gives Bindu an idea to help finish a necklace she was working on and Bindu is finally ready to confess her love towards Nani. But just in front of Bindu's doorstep, and just after dropping her home, Sudeep kidnaps Nani and takes him to a graveyard, where he beats him mercilessly. He tells Nani that he loves Bindu. Nani tells Sudeep that if he goes anywhere near Bindu, he will kill him. At this, Sudeep strangles Nani to death, right after Bindu tells Nani she loves him through a text and a phone call. Upon hearing that Bindu loves him too, Nani dies. But then, he is reborn as a fly.
After getting used to his new life as a fly, and experimenting with his new abilities, Nani ends up in Sudeep's office. After he sees Sudeep, Nani remembers his past life and wants to take revenge on Sudeep for what he had done. He keeps following Sudeep around, irritating him to the core. Meanwhile, Bindu is grieving the death of Nani, and Sudeep is still trying to make Bindu love him.
One day, Sudeep calls Bindu to her office and asks her to come to Delhi with him to meet the Education Minister, who is planning to nationally recognise Bindu's NGO. Bindu agrees. Nani notices this and causes Sudeep to meet with an accident while he is driving to the airport. Sudeep, lying injured in his wrecked car, sees Nani write the words "I will kill you". From that point, Sudeep starts fearing Nani the fly, becomes paranoid about it and tries all means to ensure Nani does not enter his house.
Later, Nani arrives at Bindu's house, who is still thinking about him. Nani uses Bindu's tears on her desk to write out the words, "I am Nani". He then shows Bindu that it was Sudeep who killed him, and that he was reborn as a fly. Bindu realises Sudeep's true nature and teams up with Nani the fly, using her skills as a micro artist to make Sudeep's life a living hell. Bindu discreetly allows Nani to enter Sudeep's house, and Nani wreaks havoc on him, including burning all of his wealth. A terrified Sudeep then consults Tantra, a sorcerer, who tells him that Nani, whom he had killed, was reborn as a fly and is planning to kill him. Tantra performs a 'homa' in Sudeep's house to kill Nani. But Nani escapes and causes a short circuit, leaving Tantra dead and Sudeep unconscious.
Next morning, Sudeep regains consciousness and finds out that Bindu and Nani are working together to kill him by seeing a CCTV video in which Bindu allowed Nani in his house. Enraged, Sudeep brings Bindu to his house and starts abusing her. He also clips Nani's wings and stabs it with a needle. A dying Nani then sacrifices its life by jumping through a lighted matchstick, inflaming itself and entering a loaded cannon, which fires up and kills Sudeep.
Bindu, grieving the fly's death, makes a necklace using the only remainder of Nani the fly- its wing. While going to work, an eve-teaser abuses her, only for a fly to attack him. This fly is none other than Nani, reborn again as a fly, to protect his love Bindu forever.

Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu (Telugu: à°Žà°Ÿో à°µెà°³్à°²ిà°ªోà°¯ింà°¦ి మనసు) is a forthcoming Telugu romance film written and directed by Gautham Menon, featuring Nani and Samantha in the lead roles. The film, featuring film score and soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja and cinematography by M. S. Prabhu, is also being simultaneously shot in Tamil and Hindi as Neethaane En Ponvasantham and Assi Nabbe Poorey Sau. Singer Chinmayi will be providing the speaking voice for the female lead. It is scheduled to be released in Summer 2012.

In January 2011 producer Bellamkonda Suresh announced that he had signed on Gautham Menon, Ram and Samantha for his next production, a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, citing that the filming would begin from May 2011. In late September 2011, Ram was replaced with Nani, as the former walked out of the film due to unknown conflicts. Nani had previously worked in Gautham Menon's production Veppam. Menon's "regular crew" of editor Anthony and cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa were part of both films. Although A. R. Rahman was reported to compose the music, sources indicated that he would not work for this film, owing to his other commitments. Menon clarified that he never announced any music director for the film and that he wanted to keep it as a surprise. In January 2012, Ilaiyaraaja was revealed to be the composer.
Initially planned to be a bilingual, Menon decided to shoot the film
in three languages simultaneously, with Samantha being retained in all
three versions. The film was set to be titled Nithya, after Samantha's character in the film, but was eventually named as Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, inspired by a song from the 1996 film Ninne Pelladutha. Filming began on August 29, 2011 with a photo shoot held along with the Tamil version.The teaser of the film is released on February 14 on the occasion of Valentine's Day

Plot
Krishna, alias Krish (N. T. Rama Rao Jr), is the son of a millionaire (Mukesh Rishi) in Hyderabad. He has a love interest in Indu (Samantha), who has a friend Bhoomi (Kajal Aggarwal). The twist is that Bhoomi’s father (Prakash Raj) wants to get her married to her cousin (Ajay), which Bhoomi doesn’t like. Naturally, she bluffs to the family that she has already fallen in love with a guy. Indu helps her by renting Krish as her would-be, just to let her escape the wedding situation for the time being. Going to the village of her pretending lover, Krish successfully solves the rivalry between the girl’s dad and his brother (Srihari). Impressed with the talent of Krish, Bhoomi’s dad accepts her love and declares them as would-be-couple. A surprise twist is revealed that Indu is daughter of Srihari i.e., Indu and Bhoomi are in fact cousins. At last Bhoomi also falls in love with Krish. Krish has a positive approach towards both girls and the final question of who Krish will marry is left to the audience.

The film begins in the town of Relangi. In this town there is a man who is fondly known as "Relangi Mavayya" (uncle). The middle-class family of Relangi Mavayya has two sons known as Peddodu (elder) (Venkatesh) and Chinnodu (younger) (Mahesh Babu) and a daughter. Relangi Mavayya's sister had married a man from a rich family referred to as "Vijayawada Manushulu" and had a daughter named Seetha (Anjali). Seetha's parents passed away after her birth and she was brought to live with her uncle, Relangi Mavayya. From her childhood, Seetha sees Peddodu as her husband, but he never visibly reciprocates her feelings: always referring to her as "osey" and "yemey?"! Peddodu does not like to change himself to please others and is very introverted. Chinnodu, on the other hand, likes to make others change for himself and will fight for what is right. However, the two brothers are as close as they can be. The movie starts off with small incidents happening in the day to day life of the family that helps the viewer understand the tight knit family and its love for each of its members.
The main story starts when Peddodu quits his job because he is told to change his ways and be more friendly and talkative. Meanwhile, Seetha's paternal uncle and family, the rich family referred to as "Vijayawada Manushulu" hears that Relangi Mavayya wants Seetha to marry Pedoddu. However, Seetha's paternal uncle (Rao Ramesh) does not want that to happen. Rao Ramesh, unlike the rest of his family, hates the Relangi family partly due to jealousy and partly due to social and economic status. Since Rao Ramesh's older daughter is getting married, he gives a wedding card to Relangi Mavayya's family out of pure courtesy. Since Relangi Mavayya cannot make it, he sends Chinnodu on his behalf. It is here that Chinoddu sees Geetha (Samantha), Rao Ramesh's younger daughter, and it is love at first sight for both of them. Although they must go their separate ways after the wedding, they exchange phone numbers and speak on a regular basis. While Relangi Mavayya goes out of town to pick up his daughter (Abhinaya), he bumps into the newlyweds (Rao Ramesh's daughter, her husband, and his parents). The boy's parents see Mavayya's daughter and set a pelli choopulu (pre-engagement program) for her and one of their close friends. Although Peddodu does not like the alliance because it came from Vijayawada, Chinnodu convinces him and the wedding is set.
At the wedding, Relangi Mavayya asks Peddodu to stand at the main entrance and greet everyone and for Chinnodu to greet as people sit. The entire Vijayawada family comes and Rao Ramesh has nothing but ill to speak of Relangi Mavayya and his family. When Peddodu hears this, he gets angry. Chinnodu tries to convince him to put on a brave face for the sake of their sister and parents' happiness just for the night and sort out everything in the morning. However, the brothers have a friction. The friction does not last long and they come back to normal. Their mother wants Peddodu to go to Hyderabad along with Chinnodu for a job search as one of their relatives who had come for the wedding had promised a job for Peddodu. Peddodu reluctantly agrees to keep his brother's heart and comes to Hyderabad. He goes to his relative's office to meet him for a job but is made to wait for a very long time, which makes Peddodu angry. He shouts at his relative and leaves the office. Meanwhile Vijaywada family comes to visit Hyderabad and Geetha (Samantha) invites Chinnodu for lunch. At lunch Chinnodu is taken by surprise to see the entire family in the restaurant. Even the family is caught by surprise, who then invite him to sit with them and have lunch. Geetha's father ends up insulting his father while conversing with him which makes Chinnodu angry and he fires back and leaves. Geetha goes after Chinnodu to pacify him but they both run into Peddodu accidentally who is upset seeing Chinnodu with Viajayawada family. Without asking for any details, he immediately leaves Hyderabad and his stubborn nature upsets Chinnodu. This becomes a source of tension between the brothers till the end of the movie.
In the middle of these tensions their father meets with an accident while trying to save another person and gets admitted to the hospital. Turns out the person he saved was a close relative's son. The relative realizes his folly in having misunderstood Relangi Mavayya all these years he comes to apologize. Tension between the brothers grows further when Peddodu tries to speak to Chinnodu but Chinnodu says they are good for nothing and cannot achieve anything. Seetha who witnesses this plans to visit Bhadrachalam to solve all their family problems. At the "Sri Rama Navami Kalyanam" of Bhadrachalam Temple, because of a short circuit in the tent, havoc rises. Meanwhile Peddodu and Chinnodu join hands along with the Police and the Temple Coordinators and start guiding the people to migrate to a safer place in the tent where the impact is low. While Peddodu saves Geetha and her family from a stampede, Chinnodu damages the Transformer with a rod on the advice of fellow pilgrims, thus marking an end to the havoc. Later on when all are in a bit relaxed mood, Relangi Mavayya sits between the brothers and praises their act. He also makes them understand the value of being friendly with all and loving our persons. This brings a change in the Mindsets of the Brothers as well as Geetha's Father. The Brothers unite and Peddodu declares his love on Seetha expressly by calling her with her name. The movie ends with Seetha's marriage with Peddodu, Geetha's marriage being planned with Chinnodu, Geetha's father apologizing Relangi Mavayya and the Brothers getting Employed (This is an implied one as we find that the brothers present their Grand Mother a set of Golden Bangles thus making her wish true which was to present them after they are Employed).
