Plot
An okay tale, the story begins with Surya (Ravi Teja) who owns a gym centre and he also has a good friend Sri (Sriram). Surya is in love with his friend’s sister Meghna (Deeksha) and after some cat and mouse games, she also falls in love. After a while, Sri goes to Saudi for job and there he falls in love with Vaishnavi (Bhavana).
The story takes a turn when Surya goes to Saudi to celebrate the birthday of Sri and is shocked when the Saudi police arrest Sri on charges of murdering Vaishnavi. He is sentenced to death. Now, the only way for Surya is to get the signature from Vaishnavi’s parents to acquit Sri. And that happens to be Raja Goud (Pradeep Rawath), the bad guy whom Surya has been fighting all along. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Mahatma (Telugu: మహాత్మా) is a 2009 Telugu film written and directed by noted director Krishna Vamsi. This film stars Srikanth in the lead role. The film was to release on 2 October which is Gandhi Jayanti holiday but due to censoring issues, the film's release was postponed a week for 9 October 2009.
Plot
Dasu (Srikanth) is a rowdy in a basti in Hyderabad. He makes a living
out of "settlement of petty issues". A young lawyer Krishnaveni
(Bhavana) gets him bail in a petty case and their acquaintance soon
develop into romance after a series of events. On other hand, a
politician cum business woman (Jyothy) plans to set up SEZ in that basti
that move is protested by dwellers headed by a genuine leader (Sekhar).
Meanwhile, a local politician cum rowdy leader Dada (Jayaprakash Reddy)
also protests against businesswoman and seeks Rs 200 Crores from if she
wants to set up SEZ there. Dasu initially believes Dada as good
politician and works for him. When Dada tries to take advantage of Dasu,
he realizes his fault and plans to contest against him on a newly
floated Mahatma party. How Krishnavani and local theatre artiste bring
change in Dasu and make him realize the importance of Mahatma Gandhi's
ideology is core point of the movie.
Karthika Menon (Malayalam: കാര്ത്തിക മേനോന്, Kārttika Mēnōn; born 6 June 1986), better known by her stage name Bhavana (Malayalam: ഭാവന, Bhāvana ), is an Indian film actress. She made her acting debut in Kamal's super hit Nammal
(2002), which won her critical acclaim and various honors. In a career
spanning eight years, she has appeared in over forty-five films, in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages, while winning one Filmfare and two Kerala State Film Awards.
Early life
Bhavana was born Karthika Menon in Thrissur, Kerala, the daughter of Pushpa and assistant cinematographer, G. Balachandran Menon. She has one brother, Jayadev, who currently lives in Vancouver, Canada. She studied at Holy Family Girls' High School, Chembukkavu, Thrissur.
Bhavana, who describes herself as a restless and a confused person
and someone who's "hard to handle", states that she had grown up with a
dream to become an actress. She recalls that, as a five-year-old, she used to imitate actress Amala's scenes from the Malayalam film Ente Sooryaputhrikku in front of the mirror and was even willing to jump from a building and break her arm, like Amala's character did in the film.
She is the brand ambassador along with actress Lakshmi Rai for team Kerala Strikers for the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), captained by Mohanlal, who is also one of the owners of the team, and vice-captain Indrajit.
Career
At age 16, she debuted in the Malayalam film Nammal opposite newcomers Siddharth, Jishnu and Renuka Menon. The film was a big success and she got several offers in Malayalam. She won many honors and a Kerala State Special Jury Award for the film. Bhavana was an 11th standard student when she got her break in films. She has acted with almost all actors in Malayalam cinema. She has got many offers lined up in Tamil and did many projects with famous Tamil actors like Ajith Kumar, Madhavan, Jayam Ravi, Bharath and Srikanth.
She has been doing glamorous roles since 2008.
In 2010, she starred in her first Kannada film alongside Puneeth Rajkumar acted in Jackie which was a blockbuster. Following the film's huge success, the film was dubbed into Telugu and Malayalam. Bhavana is said to be paired with Emraan Hashmi & Amitabh Bachchan in an upcoming Bollywood film. Her second Kannada movie Only Vishnuvardhana with Sudeep opened to a big response.

Nagendra Naidu (Nagendra Babu) is a powerful police officer. He wants to
see his son Radhakrishna (Nitin) also as a good police officer. He
always dreams of his son bashing the dons and get a state government's
medal which should be presented through his hands. However, his wife
Sarala (Kovai Sarala) wants to see her son as a super star. Then a
peculiar GO gets passed by which any honest person is eligible for a
Police job. As Nagendra Naidu convinces his wife that all the training
that is needed for a film hero could be learnt in just three months time
in the Police Academy, Sarala agrees to join him in the Police Academy.
Radhakrishna falls in love with Krishnaveni (Bhavana) at the police
academy. The latter too loses her heart to him. At this juncture, her
photo appears in the TV saying that she was a big Naxalite leader. The
actual story gets revealed with a small twist. Who created Krishnaveni
as a Naxalite or did she really a Naxalite? What happened to the love
between Radha and Krishna? How far, Radha was able to fulfil the dream
of his father Nagendra Naidu? Answers to all these questions form part
of the second half.
Tamil actor Ajith Kumar"s successful Tamil filmAsal has been dubbed in Telugu as Soolam.
The producer might have presumed that the action packed story would
attract the Telugu audience too. However, lack of proper promotion took
its toll on the openings of the film.
Story:
Jeevanandam
(Ajith) has two sons (Sampat and Rajiv) and they hate their stepbrother
Siva.Jeevanandam wants all the three should live together. Moreover,he
gives more weight to Siva"s words. Incidentally, he looks alike his
father. Jeevanandam manufactures arms and supply them to armed forces
and he stays in France. Once a group that smuggles arms wants to make a
deal with Jeevanandam but he refuses it. But Jeevanandam"s sons want to
join the group and kill their father. However, Jeevanandam in his will,
he has written his entire property in Siva's name. However, the will
says that the other sons can bequeath the property, if Siva dies in
normal circumstances. However, Siva leaves the house as per the wish of
his step-brothers. As the two brothers make a deal to smuggle arms,
which was being handled by Shetty (Kelly Dorje), he kidnaps the younger
brother. Learning this Siva decides to bring back his brother at any
cost and reaches India. What happens next should be seen on-screen.
Performance:
Ajith
has done his role with ease. He has played dual roles of a father and a
son. Though, the father"s character ends early, he has lived up to the
expectations with composed performance in the elder character. As son
too, Ajith has done a wonderful job. The action scenes are shot in a
stylish way. Sameera Reddy has done dignified job, as the girlfriend of
Ajith. Bhavana has played the second female lead. She looks pretty in
the movie with her innocent looks. Both the villain roles played by
Kelly Dorje and Pradeep Rawat are okay, but as usual the cinematic end
of Kelly Dorje plays spoilsport.
Technical:
The
cinematography in the film is excellent and the cameraman has captured
the beautiful locales of the foreign locations. Especially, the long
shots and chases are perfectly captured, besides the action scenes.
Action sequences are impressively shot. Music by Ramani Bharadwaj is
okay but the songs are not so melodious. The directorial ability of
Saran is laudable.
Remarks:
Though the film
has all the qualities of becoming a hit, poor promotion has taken its
toll. The movie is for action oriented fans.

(Vesavi in Telugu)Veyil (Tamil: வெயில்) is a 2006 Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Vasanthabalan. Bharath and Pasupathy are the heroes where Bhavana, Priyanka and Sriya Reddy plays the female leads.
The story is told through the protagonist Murugesan (Pasupathy) who recalls his childhood in Virudhunagar town. His father is a butcher who works hard to bring up his four children - two boys and two girls, and has a happy family.
Murugesan dotes on his younger brother Kathir and his weakness, like any other adolescent is love for movies (especially MGR films)
that are screened in a local theatre. But one day life changes for him
when his father catches him red-handed from the theatre after he bunks
school. The child is severely punished. He runs away from home taking
money and jewels.
Along the way Murugesan gets sidetracked from his intended
destination of Chennai by an MGR Movie poster. He's shown watching
several MGR shows, buying a change of clothes and eating a hearty meal
with his ill-gotten money. After spending the night at local temple, he
wakes up to find his money and other possessions missing. Murugesan is
then taken under the wings of a theatre projectionist in a nearby town
and slowly the theatre becomes his home. As an adult, he falls in love
with Thangam (Priyanka),
a beautiful girl who lives opposite the theatre but their love story
does not have a happy ending. Murugesan is crestfallen after Thankam’s
death and takes to the bottle. Sometime later the theatre is demolished,
the owner citing loss of business.
He decides to return home after 20 years. The rest of the film is all
about Murugesan’s mental turmoil, as he is caught between the deep love
showered by his younger brother Kathir (Bharath)
who runs a successful advertising agency and his guilt of not being a
responsible son or elder brother. There is a parallel love story between
Meenakshi (Bhavana), an innocent girl and Kathir. Then there is Pandi (Sriya Reddy) who is Murugesan's childhood sweetheart.The rest of the story is about what happens to Murugesan and Kathir.
Pasupathy is outstanding especially at the later part of the movie.
Being an worthy son he did exactly what was expected of him and proved
all wrong. He sacrificed his own life to bring prosperity to his own
family but not before he killed all the enemies of their family and as a
reward got whatever he wished earlier; to die in the lap of his mother,
to be accepted by his sisters and above all his own father as the elder
son.

Plot
Vamsi (Gopichand) lives with his family. Vamsi’s father is Muddu Krishna Rao (Paruchuri Venkateshwara Rao), an affluent sari mandir owner. Vamsi’s friends are Sunil & Rajiv, an MLA. Vamsi falls in love with Bujji (Bhavana) at first sight but she doesn't see him. One day, Bujji meets Mr. Rao & his family, except for Vamsi, who then overhears his family talking to her, discovers that Buji is an orphan and stays in a hostel. Vamsi goes to the hostel and pretends to be a CBI Officer because he wants to talk to Bujji. To make a funny twist, he called Sunil and made him pretend as his assistant. After a while, Vamsi’s family finds out that Vamsi & Bujji love each other. Bujji doesn't have any knowledge that Vamsi is related to Muddu Rao and at the same time, his family also finds out that he is pretending to be a CBI Officer. Vamsi reveals to Bujji that he’s not a CBI Officer and became mad at him because he lied about it. Bujji then doesn't believe that he loves her and stops talking to him. The next day, Vamsi tries to talk to Bujji but ran over to Rajiv and asked him to tell Vamsi to leave her alone. Bujji doesn't have any knowledge about Vamsi's connection to Rajiv but secretly,he was happy because his friend loves Bujji. Rajiv made a scene to "arrest" Vamsi by his security guard just to please Bujji as she leaves with her friend, but behind her knowledge, everything was just a play for the friends. While Rajiv & Vamsi were talking, Veeraju tries to shoot Rajiv. Vamsi saves Rajiv’s life when the bullet goes into his shoulder as Veeraju escapes. A few minutes later, Panda & his friends are being mean to Bujji & her friend. Vamsi beats up Panda & his friends and defended Bujji as she fell for him again.
Panda’s brother is Lal Mahankali (Ashish Vidyarthi), a gangster and two of his henchmen are Veeraju & Raghu. Lal sends a group of men including Panda & Veeraju to locate Vamsi. During the night, Vamsi & Bujji go to his house to celebrate her birthday. Bujji then discovers that Vamsi is in fact related to Muddu Rao as his father and to Rajiv & Sunil as his friends. At the beach, Vamsi talks to Bujji and they see Panda & his henchmen. Vamsi tells Bujji to escape as he fights Panda & his henchmen. When Vamsi goes to Lal’s residence,he tells them to back off. Vamsi leaves as the furious Lal still wants to get revenge. Lal & Raghu then talk to Rajiv and offers him money for him to betray Vamsi. Rajiv refuses to accept the money and at the same time refuses to betray his friend. Vamsi & Bujji went back to his family's house and was welcomed by his happy family when they heard that Vamsi wants to marry Bujji. They have decided that their engagement will take place at the temple. But when they arrived at the temple, Vamsi realizes that Lal, Panda, & their henchmen kidnapped Bujji. Vamsi then goes to Lal’s hideout and fights Lal & his henchmen. It so happens that Panda wants to molest Bujji but Vamsi saw them. Before he could go on, somebody stabbed him from behind. It is revealed that Rajiv stabbed Vamsi because Lal promised to make him a minister and stabbed him two more times. Lal & Veeraju are beating up Vamsi and Panda molesting Bujji, and just a few moments later, Veeraju decides to molest her as well. Bujji runs to escape but falls off a rock building. Vamsi & Bujji were unconscious after the fall. When Vamsi wakes up, he realizes that Bujji is still on the ground, motionless. Vamsi tried to wake her up but she is going to die soon. When Vamsi carries Bujji, he accidentally trips. Then Vamsi's family with Sunil finds the two on the ground both unconscious. At the hospital, Vamsi's family & Sunil find out the hurtful fact that Bujji is dead. When Vamsi wakes up,he sees Bujji but he doesn't know that he is in the state of hallucination. Nobody tells him about Bujji's death because he might die too. His family together with Sunil finds out that Rajiv backstabbed Vamsi and everyone managed to escape. Vamsi and his family moved out of their house as his father closes his businesses and started to live in another house. After 2 months later, Vamsi disappears.
As Vamsi kills Veeraju, the watchman became a witness to the murder. Vamsi's family is happy because he is getting his revenge. One of the police officers Sayyaji Shinde, believes that somebody murdered Veeraju for revenge. Vamsi knows that Lal, Panda, & their henchmen are in Hyderabad. At the train station, Vamsi sees Bujji but doesn't see him as he hides from her. He then takes the train to Hyderabad. The witness tells Sayyaji that Veeraju’s killer is Vamsi, who also knows about Vamsi’s father. They find out that Vamsi’s house’s empty & Vamsi’s father's businesses got closed. When Vamsi goes to Hyderabad, he sees Bujji. Vamsi talks to Bujji, but Vamsi still doesn't know that Bujji's dead. When Vamsi & Bujji go to a hotel, they see Sunil. Sunil works in the hotel. Sunil still doesn’t tell Vamsi that Bujji’s dead. When Sunil goes to Vamsi’s room, Sunil’s shocked because Vamsi wants to get revenge. When Vamsi locates Raghu, Raghu escapes & informs Panda that Vamsi came to Hyderabad. Raghu & Panda inform Lal that Vamsi came to Hyderabad. Vamsi sees Bujji. Bujji wants Vamsi to buy ice cream. Vamsi's crossing the road, but Vamsi gets captured by Lal’s henchmen. At Panda’s hideout, Vamsi fights Panda & his henchmen. Raghu escapes. When Vamsi chases Panda, Vamsi grabs a sharp weapon. Vamsi gets hit by a car & Panda escapes. The driver accidentally hit Vamsi with the car. When Rajiv gets out of the car, Rajiv’s afraid because he sees Vamsi. Rajiv’s a Minister. Vamsi chops off Rajiv’s head. Sayyaji goes to Hyderabad because the Minister got killed. Sayyaji realizes that Vamsi killed Rajiv too. Sayyaji also realizes that Vamsi wants to kill Panda & Lal. Panda, Lal, Raghu, & Joe are inside an elevator. Panda & Lal see Vamsi. The elevator gets stuck because Vamsi wants to cut the wires. The elevator falls to the ground. Panda, Lal, Raghu, & Joe are still alive. The officers locate Vamsi’s family. At the hotel, Bujji realizes that Vamsi committed at least 1 murder. When the officers go to the hotel, they also realize that Vamsi’s in a state of hallucination. When Sayyaji talks to Vamsi’s family, Vamsi’s family talks about their past. Officer Mahesh informs Lal that Vamsi’s in a state of hallucination. Lal wants to talk to Vamsi before Mahesh kills Vamsi. When Lal uses his phone to talk to Vamsi, Lal lies that Bujji got captured. Vamsi beats up Mahesh & the other officers. Sayyaji's outside. Sayyaji wants Vamsi to kill Lal, Panda, & their henchmen. At Lal’s hideout, Vamsi kills Lal’s henchmen. Raghu's not at Lal's hideout. Vamsi fights Lal & Panda. When Lal says that Bujji’s dead, Vamsi yells & rips off Panda’s arm. Vamsi doesn’t believe that Bujji’s dead. Vamsi also kills Lal. Vamsi’s family & Sunil admit that Bujji died.
