Plot

Munna (Siddharth Narayan), Babu Kalyanam (Bharath), Juju (Nakul), Krishna (thaman) and Kumar (Manikandan) are five friends who spend their time ogling at girls, watching porn and complaining about their parents. Much to the chagrin of their parents, they have no interest in studies. They even go as far as hiring a prostitute but all of them back down at the last moment. They meet a depressed middle-aged man, Mangalam (Vivek) in a bar one day and help him home after he passes out. Although they first use him as a source to get alcohol, Mangalam enjoys their company and becomes a mentor of sorts for these kids.

One day, the boys see a teenage girl, Harini (Genelia D'Souza) and all five decide to ask her out. Everyone’s try ends in disaster, but they all become friends. Soon, Harini and Munna fall in love. The parents find out and are furious, as they want them to focus on their studies first. The parents and their kids decide that the kids will not contact each other till their studies are over and after that, if they are still in love, the parents would not stand in their way. Although the kids agree to this, they start longing for each other. They get married, prompting the parents to throw them out. To show solidarity to Munna, the other four friends walk out of their homes too. Mangalam helps them find a modest residence and the teenagers take up part-time jobs to support themselves. Mangalam encourages them to explore their natural musical talents, after which they are approached by a radical group to make songs against the government. This gets them into prison, where they experience some tough times.

After they get out, they show more resolve to succeed. After a few unsuccessful attempts, they are finally signed and record their first album. When celebrating their success, Krishna accidentally tells Harini about the prostitute earlier. A deeply-hurt Harini leaves them. As the prostitute is the only one who could prove that Munna did not sleep with her, the friends begin searching for her. Kumar spots the prostitute but while chasing her, dies in a road accident. Munna decides that his words were more than enough proof for Harini and accepts Harini’s decision.

Their album releases and becomes a huge hit. When the boys request Harini’s presence for the live show, as she was the lead female vocal for the group, her parents accept on the condition that Munna sign the divorce papers. Munna agrees and the group has a very successful live debut. On the day of the divorce hearings, Mangalam, now the pop group’s manager fields many calls to replace Harini. When she looks at pictures of all the pretty girls vying to be the group’s new singer, a bout of jealousy strikes her. She gets angry and starts hitting Munna. As they fight, they finally share a kiss. The judge sees this as a sign that she still cares and does not agree to the divorce. Harini and Munna get back together.

Kanden Kadhalai(Tamil: கண்டேன் காதலை) (English: I saw my Love) is a 2009 Indian Tamil romantic comedy film directed by R. Kannan of Jayamkondaan fame. The film, a remake of the 2007 Hindi blockbuster, Jab We Met by Imtiaz Ali, stars Bharath and Tamannaah in the lead roles, originally enacted by Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. The film released on 30 October 2009 to mainly positive reviews. Movie was dubbed in Telugu Priya Priyathama.

Plot

Shakthivel (kiran Viswan) is the son of a wealthy industrialist, and is the M.D of Rajasekar Industries. His mother Kamala is suing the company because Shakthi insulted her for having an affair with the company auditor. To add to that, the girl he loved got married to someone else. Disgusted with life, he gets up and walks aimlessly, taking a bus to the Chennai Railway Station. There he boards the Pandian Express at night without a ticket and sits in gloom. Anjali (Tamannaah) is a college girl who is going to her hometown Theni for vacation. Anjali is a bubbly and talkative girl and thoroughly irritates Shakthi. She tells him of her plans to elope with her lover Gautham. At night, Shakthi leaves the train. Anjali wakes up to find him gone. Seeing him sitting on the platform, she gets off the train to bring him back. As a result she misses the train. She tells Shakthi that it is his responsibility to take her back to the train. Annoyed, he takes her to the next station so that she can board the train and leaves her. Anjali again misses the train. While she is waiting for a taxi to reach the next station, some gangsters chase her, but she runs into Shakthi who fights off the gangsters.
Anjali tells Shakthi that it was his responsibility to take her safely home to Theni. They go to a hotel and Anjali tells him to burn the photo of his lover. He does so and feels better. They flee the hotel in the middle of the night and board a bus. While travelling, they become good friends. They reach Theni, where Anjali insists that he meet her family. Anjali's grandfather (Ravichandran) tells him to stay with them for a couple of days. Unable to refuse, Shakthi accepts and enjoys a few days with her family who treat him as an honored guest. Anjali tries to get him to forge a relationship with her cousin Roja (Sapan Saran). Meanwhile, Anjali tells Shakthi that her family is trying to get her hitched to her uncle Mokkai Raasu (Santhanam) and asks him for ideas to escape. Anjali behaves in such a way around Shakthi while Raasu is present, that Raasu believes that they are lovers. When marriage between Anjali and Raasu is fixed, Anjali takes Shakthi and runs away. Her family believes that they have eloped together. Shakthi takes Anjali to Ooty and bids her good luck. They part ways. Shakthi returns to Chennai with a fresh outlook on life and makes several changes to his company. He resolves his issues with his mother and the shares of his company rise.
One day, he releases a new product by the name Anjali. Roja sees the ad on TV and informs her family. Anjali's family meet Shakthi. Anjali's father (Nizhalgal Ravi) begs Shakthi to tell him of Anjali's whereabouts. Shakthi is shocked to learn that Anjali has not contacted them in 9 months. He promises them that he will come to Theni in ten days with Anjali. Shakthi travels to Ooty the same day and meets with Gautham (Munna). Goutham tells him that he turned out Anjali when she met him because he was more interested in completing his dream first. Shakthi admonishes him and leaves, his heart full of worry. He searches for Anjali in Ooty, notifying the police and some friends. He finally locates Anjali working as a school teacher in Connore. Shakthi is shocked to see the talkative and bubbly Anjali as a sad and quiet girl. Shakthi resolves to make her happy again. After some convincing, Anjali agrees to return to her family. Before they leave, Sreejith comes and apologizes to Anjali. Anjali refuses to accept Sreejith into her life again, but Shakthi convinces her otherwise. The three of them travel to Theni, where Anjali's family forgive her. However, they mistake Shakthi to be Anjali's lover and make wedding plans for Anjali and Shakthi. Gautham is furious and Shakthi tells Anjali that she has to clear the confusion. Anjali tries but finds in her heart some kind of mental block. Finally, Sreejith asks Shakthi to leave, without Anjali's knowledge, saying that while he is here Gautham and Anjali cannot get married. Shakthi agrees and boards a train to Chennai. But Anjali realises at this point that she loves Shakthi, and not Sreejith. She runs to the station and meets Shakthi and confesses her love to him. Shakthi joyfully accepts and Gautham leaves. Shakthi and Anjali return to her family to be married.

Vaanam (English: Sky) is an Indian Tamil drama film written and directed by Krish. A remake of his 2010 Telugu film Vedam, the film features an ensemble cast of Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka Shetty, Prakash Raj, Saranya and Sonia Agarwal. Plot

Cable Raja (Silambarasan) is a cable operator born and raised in a slum area in Chennai. He bemoans his poverty and wishes to become rich by marrying his girlfriend Priya (Jasmin Bhasin). He cons her into believing he is well off, and adopts a well-bred persona in front of her. Raja is always accompanied by his best friend Seenu (Santhanam) and guided by Bhajan singer Ganesh (VTV Ganesh). When he is asked by Priya to buy high-priced passes to a New Year's Eve gala, he finds himself severely short of money. After a failed attempt at chain snatching and crossing paths with the police, he heads to a hospital with theft on his mind.
Bharath Chakravarthy (Bharath) is an aspiring rockstar from Bangalore, who is irresponsible but well-meaning. His mother disapproves of his dreams and wishes him to become an army officer, which he opposes. When his band misses their flight to a live concert because of him, he takes them to Chennai via road. En route, Bharath and his girlfriend Laasya (Vega Tamotia) are attacked by religious fanatics, but are aided by strangers, which causes him to reflect on life. They finally arrive in Chennai, but their vehicle collides with an auto-rickshaw carrying a pregnant woman. Sacrificing their concert, Bharath and Laasya rush her to the hospital.
Saroja (Anushka) is a prostitute working at Rani Amma's brothel at the Tamil Nadu-Andhra border. When she discovers that her life is constantly in danger while working there, she escapes to Chennai with her co-worker Karpooram (Nikki), a eunuch, in hopes of starting her own business venture. On arrival, she is hounded by both thugs and policemen, ultimately being led into a trap. In an ensuing fight, Karpooram is mortally wounded. Desperate, Saroja carries her to the hospital.
Rahim (Prakash Raj) and his wife Zara (Sonia Agarwal) had lost their unborn twins in a communal riot in Coimbatore. When Zara becomes pregnant again a few months later, Rahim heads to Chennai to locate his younger brother who had run away following the riots. There, he comes into repeated conflict with anti-Muslim officer Shivaram (Ravi Prakash), who suspects him of being a terrorist. Despite his claims of innocence, Rahim is brutally assaulted by the cop, and admitted in the hospital under close watch.
Lakshmi (Saranya) is the daughter-in-law of a poor weaver in Thoothukudi. When the weaver is unable to pay back a loan to a cruel money lender ('Kadhal' Dhandapani), the latter kidnaps Lakshmi's young son, a bright student, and refuses to release him until his debt is cleared. Lakshmi arrives in Chennai with her father-in-law, hoping to sell her kidney to obtain the money. After initial hassles, she undergoes the operation and receives the money, although it is still insufficient. At that point, Cable Raja enters and steals the cash from her, ignoring her pleas. In a state of despair, Lakshmi and her father-in-law contemplate suicide.
Struck by his conscience, Raja is unable to continue his plan. He admits the truth to Priya and returns the money, even giving up some of his own money, gaining Lakshmi's forgiveness. Meanwhile, Rahim discovers that terrorist leader Mansoor Khan (Jayaprakash) and his gang are planning to kill all the people at the hospital. Rahim tries to escape, but on seeing Bharath wheeling in a pregnant woman, he is reminded of his wife and offers to help them. The terrorist strike begins and several people are shot dead. Raja, Bharath, Rahim and Saroja lead a small bunch of survivors to an abandoned room.
Cable Raja and Bharath fights and kill a terrorist one-on-one. While Bharath sustaining multiple bullet wounds to his shoulder in order to save Saroja. Rahim saves Shivaram from a shooter and comes face to face with his brother, who is part of the terrorist gang. When confronted, Rahim's brother shoots himself. Just then, Mansoor Khan reveals himself to be a human bomb, and primes himself to explode. Cable Raja sacrifices himself by throwing himself and Khan out the window, and dies in the explosion.
In the aftermath, Bharath has lost his hand but is alive; he is hailed as a national hero. Saroja and Karpooram head toward a new decent life, hoping to find redemption. Lakshmi pays off the money lender and gives her son a proper education. Rahim is asked forgiveness by Shivaram, which he grants, and accepts him as his brother. Cable Raja is mourned by the people in his community, and Priya as well, and Ganesh and Seenu hail him as a martyr.

Plot

Reema Sen showers love and affection on Bharath, her neighbor, since his childhood. Bharath happens to be the only son of a rich business tycoon Girish Karnad, who loses his mother at a young age. Reema treats Bharath as her younger brother and spends all her time with him.Meanwhile, Vishal, an income tax officer, turns up at Girish Karnad's house for an IT raid and happens to meet Reema there. They eventually fall in love and after a series of incidents they gets wed locked. They settle in Goa then. The trouble begins when Bharath reaches Goa in search of Reema. He manages to kidnap Reema and bring her to Chennai. The reasons for Bharath's obsession and possessiveness towards Reema unfolds as the movie progresses. Vishal who comes back to Goa finds the house deserted. The next door neighbor tells him that Reema eloped with Bharat. He then begins to track her down and finds that the duo had left for Chennai. Vishal reaches Chennai but is unable to tell his parents the real plight. With the help of Vivek, his colleague, he tries to trace her out. A chance look at the video of their marriage throws light on Bharat's hatred towards Vishal. Now Vishal is convinced that Reema did not go on her own will. He confronts Bharat's father but he is of no help. Finally he traces out the location of Bharat's hideout. Reema on the other hand pleads with Bharat to release her. She explains that she cannot be his wife and can see him only as a son or a kid brother. The plea falls on deaf ears. In a racy climax on high seas the three protagonists fight it out and Reema hits Bharat with the boat oars. He plunges in to the sea in an unconscious condition taking along Reema too. Vishal comes at the nick of the time and saves her. Even though she had killed him she is filled with remorse.

Bharath (Tamil: பரத்; born on 21 July 1984) is an Indian actor, who appears in Tamil films. He is probably best known for his critically acclaimed performances in Chellamae (2004), Kaadhal (2004), Pattiyal (2005) and Veyil (2006).

Early life

Bharath Srinivasan was born into a Hindu family in Trichy. He has a sister named Breethi. Bharath is a trained dancer by profession. He joined Swingers International Dance club when he was 11 years old. He did his schooling at DAV Senior Secondary School, Anna Nagar, and studied at The New College, Chennai

Career

Bharath made his acting debut in the 2003 Tamil film Boys directed by S. Shankar, in which he played the guitarist of a boy band. He was selected for the role, after Shankar had seen him performing at a dance programme "Inspirations" at the Music Academy by Swingers. In 2004, he first appeared in his first and only Malayalam film till date, the Jayaraj-directed vigilante film 4 The People, portraying one of the four protagonists. Supported by a highly popular soundtrack by Jassie Gift, the film went on to become a blockbuster, grossing 3 crores at the Kerala box office and turning out the highest-grossing Malayalam film of that year. The film was subsequently dubbed into Tamil as 4 Students, and Telugu as Yuvasena, with its Tamil version emerging a box office success as well.Later that year, he essayed the antagonist role in Chellamae, alongside Vishal and Reema Sen. His portrayal of Vishwa, a possessive teenager who kidnaps his childhood friend he is obsessed with and married to someone else, was appreciated by critics. It also was an economical success. He played his first starring role in Balaji Sakthivel's romantic-drama film Kaadhal that featured him as a poor mechanic who falls in love and elopes with a wealthy 12th standard student, portrayed by then debutante Sandhya. The film, produced by Shankar, received critical acclaim and was also commercially successful. Also, his performance as the naïve but sweet lover was highly praised. Pattiyal, a gangster thriller in which he shared screen space with Arya, was his first release in 2006. The Vishnuvardhan-directorial opened to very positive critical response and went to become a high financial success, with Bharath garnering accolades for his performance as a deaf and dumb hitman Later that year, he starred in Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu, Em Magan, Chennai Kadhal and Veyil. While Chennai Kadhal, a romance film by Vikraman, bombed at the box office, Thirumurugan's family drama film Em Magan was declared a hit film. He has received great accolades for Veyyil, which also emerged a commercial success and was selected for screening at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.
Following Veyyil, Bharath experienced a setback in his career as his subsequent releases—with the exception of Pazhani—proved critically and commercially unsuccessful. He was facing an "image crisis" as he signed up for action and masala films and went on play repetitive roles as a "larger than life angry young man", essaying "small town rowdy" or "guy seeking revenge" roles. Koodal Nagar, in which he starred alongside Bhavana and Sandhya, was his only release in 2007. He portrayed a dual role in the film which was a box office flop. In 2008 he appeared in Perarasu's Pazhani, which was a commercial success, following which Nepali, directed by Dhurai was released. Though the film is considered a box office bomb, Bharath received rave reviews for his performance. That year he had two more releases, Muniyandi Vilangial Moonramandu, which saw him collaborating with the Em Magan team again, and Hari's Seval, none of which succeeded. In 2009 he acted in Arumugam, directed by Suresh Krishna and Kandein Kadhalai, the Tamil remake of the 2007 Hindi blockbuster Jab We Met. The latter featured him in a totally contrasting role as a rich businessman, and became his only commercial success in two years. In 2010, he had a single release with Thambikku Indha Ooru which became a critical and commercial failure.
In 2011, he appeared in the multi-starrer Vaanam as Bharath Chakravarthy, a guitarist, with the film becoming a successful venture at the box office. Post-release, Bharath clashed with the producer and another actor in the film, Silambarasan, claiming he did not receive as much promotion and publicity as Silambarasan's character. His recent film was the romantic comedy Yuvan Yuvathi with Rima Kallingal that released to mixed reviews. He is currently working on the action-masala film Thiruthani for which he teams up with director Perarasu once again. Furthermore he will make an extended guest appearance in Vasanthabalan's Aravaan and will play the lead role in Sasi's 555.

(Vesavi in Telugu)Veyil (Tamil: வெயில்) is a 2006 Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Vasanthabalan. Bharath and Pasupathy are the heroes where Bhavana, Priyanka and Sriya Reddy plays the female leads.

The story is told through the protagonist Murugesan (Pasupathy) who recalls his childhood in Virudhunagar town. His father is a butcher who works hard to bring up his four children - two boys and two girls, and has a happy family.
Murugesan dotes on his younger brother Kathir and his weakness, like any other adolescent is love for movies (especially MGR films) that are screened in a local theatre. But one day life changes for him when his father catches him red-handed from the theatre after he bunks school. The child is severely punished. He runs away from home taking money and jewels.
Along the way Murugesan gets sidetracked from his intended destination of Chennai by an MGR Movie poster. He's shown watching several MGR shows, buying a change of clothes and eating a hearty meal with his ill-gotten money. After spending the night at local temple, he wakes up to find his money and other possessions missing. Murugesan is then taken under the wings of a theatre projectionist in a nearby town and slowly the theatre becomes his home. As an adult, he falls in love with Thangam (Priyanka), a beautiful girl who lives opposite the theatre but their love story does not have a happy ending. Murugesan is crestfallen after Thankam’s death and takes to the bottle. Sometime later the theatre is demolished, the owner citing loss of business.
He decides to return home after 20 years. The rest of the film is all about Murugesan’s mental turmoil, as he is caught between the deep love showered by his younger brother Kathir (Bharath) who runs a successful advertising agency and his guilt of not being a responsible son or elder brother. There is a parallel love story between Meenakshi (Bhavana), an innocent girl and Kathir. Then there is Pandi (Sriya Reddy) who is Murugesan's childhood sweetheart.The rest of the story is about what happens to Murugesan and Kathir.
Pasupathy is outstanding especially at the later part of the movie. Being an worthy son he did exactly what was expected of him and proved all wrong. He sacrificed his own life to bring prosperity to his own family but not before he killed all the enemies of their family and as a reward got whatever he wished earlier; to die in the lap of his mother, to be accepted by his sisters and above all his own father as the elder son.

Plot

Munna (Siddharth Narayan), Babu Kalyanam (Bharath), Juju (Nakul), Krishna (thaman) and Kumar (Manikandan) are five friends who spend their time ogling at girls, watching porn and complaining about their parents. Much to the chagrin of their parents, they have no interest in studies. They even go as far as hiring a prostitute but all of them back down at the last moment. They meet a depressed middle-aged man, Mangalam (Vivek) in a bar one day and help him home after he passes out. Although they first use him as a source to get alcohol, Mangalam enjoys their company and becomes a mentor of sorts for these kids.

One day, the boys see a teenage girl, Harini (Genelia D'Souza) and all five decide to ask her out. Everyone’s try ends in disaster, but they all become friends. Soon, Harini and Munna fall in love. The parents find out and are furious, as they want them to focus on their studies first. The parents and their kids decide that the kids will not contact each other till their studies are over and after that, if they are still in love, the parents would not stand in their way. Although the kids agree to this, they start longing for each other. They get married, prompting the parents to throw them out. To show solidarity to Munna, the other four friends walk out of their homes too. Mangalam helps them find a modest residence and the teenagers take up part-time jobs to support themselves. Mangalam encourages them to explore their natural musical talents, after which they are approached by a radical group to make songs against the government. This gets them into prison, where they experience some tough times.

After they get out, they show more resolve to succeed. After a few unsuccessful attempts, they are finally signed and record their first album. When celebrating their success, Krishna accidentally tells Harini about the prostitute earlier. A deeply-hurt Harini leaves them. As the prostitute is the only one who could prove that Munna did not sleep with her, the friends begin searching for her. Kumar spots the prostitute but while chasing her, dies in a road accident. Munna decides that his words were more than enough proof for Harini and accepts Harini’s decision.

Their album releases and becomes a huge hit. When the boys request Harini’s presence for the live show, as she was the lead female vocal for the group, her parents accept on the condition that Munna sign the divorce papers. Munna agrees and the group has a very successful live debut. On the day of the divorce hearings, Mangalam, now the pop group’s manager fields many calls to replace Harini. When she looks at pictures of all the pretty girls vying to be the group’s new singer, a bout of jealousy strikes her. She gets angry and starts hitting Munna. As they fight, they finally share a kiss. The judge sees this as a sign that she still cares and does not agree to the divorce. Harini and Munna get back together.

Plot

Yuvasena...4 The People is an remake version of Malyalam movie 4 the People and it is an Ation based movie. In which, Vivek (Bharat), Aravind (Sarvanand), Siva (Kishore) and Rafi (Padma Kumar) form a group called '4 The People' who punish the corrupt officials. They work as an anonymous group who operate on the complaints they receive through the website they have launched. Their modus operandi include riding in black bikes wearing all-black attire with a black helmet and chopping off the hands of the corrupt official, leaving a note saying that its the handiwork of '4 The People'. The police department summons an ACP called Sarath Chandra (Suresh Menon) to trace and crack down on '4 The People'. The rest of the story is all about how Sarath Chandra traces the 4 people and how the legacy of '4 The People' continues.
