Plot
Babloo (Vishnu Manchu) likes to have fun and is always getting in trouble. So his father Narayana (Chandra Mohan) gets him a job with Shanker Goud (Srihari). Shanker Goud and Bhallu are rivals and Bhallu is determined to kill Shanker Goud's sister Pooja (Genelia D'Souza). Babloo falls in love with Pooja but Shanker is planning an arranged marriage for her with Ajay (Akash). Babloo and Pooja elope to get married. The rest of the story deals with how Babloo saves Pooja from Bhallu.

Plot
Pandit Raghava (Mohan Babu) is a scowling, taxi driver with a short fuse, who roams the mean streets of Hyderabad. His wife (Shobana) and family think he is an insurance agent.
Vijay Raj (Vishnu), on the other hand, is a man of fun and modern-day pleasures. A rich youth, his life is full of swanky women and swankier lifestyle.And the dice of fate rolls out agonizing numbers for both. One needs a few thousand to pay off his debts.
The other hopes to inherit several crores of rupees from his dead dad. But as it happens, the two contrasting individuals lives crisscross. It is an unlikely match up. The two have nothing in common. But life enjoins a common journey for them. Vijay takes a fateful ride in Pandit's cab. And it is a roller coaster that turns his life upside down.

Plot
Narsimha is a rowdy whose life ambition is to become an MLA, he murders people and works as a henchman to the Home Minister in hopes of getting the seat. However, Narsimha has a sister, Puja whom he adores a lot and she too loves her brother. Venky is a happy-go-lucky guy with a nice family and no problems. His ambition in life is to become a professional kick boxer, he and his dad share a strong bond. When Venky goes to the shop to pick up his pictures he accidentally takes the wrong envelope. His family sees the pictures of Puja, and thinks that she is Venky's girlfriend. The Home Minister's son Ajay wants to marry Puja,and tells Nasimha that he will make him an MLA if he agrees to the marriage. Narsimha quickly agrees, and Puja too has no objection to her brother's decision. Through a series of misunderstandings Narsimha thinks that Puja is in love with Venky, though they both have never met.Narsimha gets worried that he will not become a MLA, and goes to Venky's family's coffee shop and thrashes everything, he destroyes Venky's sister's marriage and slaps Venky's father. Venky comes home and sees the destruction, he's confused and swears revenge on Narsimha. Narsimha screams at Puja and she decides to commit suicide, when she jumps into the water Venky saves her. Its late so he decides to drop her at her home, when Narsimha sees Puja on Venky's bike he thinks that they are eloping. Venky and Puja try to explain that they don't know each other and its a misunderstanding, but Narsimha won't listen. A fight follows and Narsimha shoots Venky. Venky lives, but he kidnaps Puja and says he demands an apology and Narsimha must fix all that he destroyed( Venky's dreams of becoming a kickboxer, Venky's sister's wedding, their coffee shop, and his family's honor.) Slowly Puja becomes friends with Venky and after a little while they fall in love, but they don't know this. Puja goes to her exam hall, and tells Venky she will tell him something after her exam, she was going to say 'I love you'. Meanwhile Venky's friends and family explain the misunderstanding to Narsimha, and he immediately apologizes and fixes all the destruction he's caused. Puja is not able to tell Venky her feelings, because her brother comes and says sorry. Now, Venky does not want to create anymore problems, so he denies his love for Puja. Puja doesn't want to get married to Ajay, but she accepts to make her brother happy. Ajay figures out that Puja has been kidnapped, and thinks that Venky and Puja are in love. The Home Minister then insults Puja a lot, this leads to a fight and their wedding is broken off. Plot
A mentally unstable pregnant woman runs inside a temple and closes the door. She gives birth to a boy at the feet of Lord Krishna’s idol and breathes her last. The doors of the temple are closed, as people believe that the birth of such a woman's child in 'garbhagudi' is a bad omen.
The boy, named Arjun (Vishnu Vardhan Babu), grows up under the guardianship of his grandmother (Manorama). He goes to work as a bodyguard to Satya (Mamta Mohandas), the sister of landlord Pedababu (Nassar). Arjun and his grandmother live in the out house of Pedababu’s bungalow. Arjun is ill-treated by everyone. When an astrologer says that Satya’s first husband will be killed and she will live happily with her second husband, Pedababu plans to get Satya married to Arjun first. Then, he conspires to kill him and get Satya married to a rich man.
However, Lord Krishna (Nagarjuna) comes to Arjun's assistance. Arjun gains some powers from his companionship with the Lord and overcomes the evils that threaten his peace and family life. He also succeeds in reopening the doors of the temple. Arjun then dies by jumping of a tall building because of his faith in Lord Krishna who revives him a minute after his death. The film ends on a happy note.

Plot

Plot
When a successful movie is remade, the thing to be looked at is not success alone. The context and relevance are also important. When Sarfarosh became a hit in Hindi some years back, one of the reasons for it was that the film had a lot of relevance and the story could easily take off from the real-life terrorist happenings on the Rajasthan border. In other words, the viewers were able to 'connect' with it. Of course the taut script and the bankable acting of Aamir Khan also helped.
But when Sarfarosh has been remade in Telugu as Asthram, the relevance in terms of geographical exactitude is missing. For an Andhra policeman to worry about arms smuggling through Rameshwaram is hardly convincing. And further, while Sarfarosh was closer to life (the India-Pakistan cultural exchanges), Asthram has no such redeeming element
In short, Suresh Krishna seems to have taken the cover but not the content, and Asthram seems a cardboard copy with hardly any dimension either to characters or to the script. Only Vishnu's sincerity is the standalone feature. But even he needs to keep an eye on his girth
The story is about Siddharth (Vishnu) who becomes an IPS man after terrorists lay low his dad. Siddharth is on a mission to finish off the ultras. There is Anusha (Anushka) and KV (Jackie Shroff) in his life. The former is his ladylove, the latter, a singer, is a kind of idol for Siddharth.
The policeman's efforts to unravel the terrorist network picks up momentum with him nailing Mirchi Malliah. The unspooling of the links lead up to KV, and the rest is how Siddharth deals with the situation.
If Sarfarosh had a gritty and humane touch all through, Asthram misses them completely and instead comes across as just a potboiler.
Vishnu, looking for a major break in his break, is earnest. He tries. Sometimes too hard. But he has improved his acting. Though he needs to work on his looks and dialogue delivery, the young man has shown enough promise for us to keep an eye on him. Anushka, the hot babe, is indeed hot (in terms of glamour). But again, her role is too sketchy and limited. Jackie Shroff as the singer KV is hamstrung by the fact that his role has very little contextual connection. Again, to compare his work with character that Naseeruddin Shah did in the original is a tad unfair.
The technical aspects of the movie pass muster. But S A Rajkumar's music certainly could have been more movie-specific.
Suresh Krishna used to be a gritty masala moviemaker. Somehow, these days, he seems to be giving the impression of trying to make movies for image and impression rather than out any intrinsic appeal. Therein may lie the fault.

Vishnu Manchu (Telugu: విష్ణు మంచు; born November 23, 1981), the son of Mohan Babu & Nirmala Devii, is an actor, producer and CEO of MBC (Mohan Babu Corporation). His film, Dhee, was one of the most successful Telugu films in 2007. Vishnu is married to Veronica Reddy, the niece of Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Personal life
Vishnu was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His mother is Nirmala Devi Manchu and his father is eminent actor, politician, and educator, Mohan Babu.
Vishnu’s first role as actor came at the age of four when he appeared
in “Ragile Gundelu” in 1985. The actor says he knew from the start that
performing on the silver screen would always be his first love. Vishnu’s
elder sister, Lakshmi Manchu, has acted in the TV series Desperate Housewives. His younger brother, Manoj Manchu, is also an actor in both the Telugu and Tamil cinema (Kollywood). After graduating from Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College with his B.Tech in Computer Science and Information Technology, Vishnu flew to Los Angeles, California,
where he took several courses in film acting and direction. Vishnu is
blessed with twin girls in December 2011, and they are named Ariaana and
Viviana.

Having studied his craft through teachers and under the critical eye
of his father, Vishnu broke into the Telugu cinema in the film Vishnu in 2003, directed by Shaji Kailas. He acted in one movie per year. His film, Saleem was shot on locations throughout Europe, India, and Thailand. His latest movie Vastaadu Naa Raaju.

Vishnu has produced two films as well— Yamajaathakudu in 1999 and Vasthadhu Naa Raju in 2011.
As the CEO of MBC (Mohan Babu Corporation), Vishnu Manchu oversees
several child companies: Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, ThinkSmart, and
24 Frames Factory. Vishnu is also the CEO of SVET (Sree Vidyanikethan
Educational Trust), a university chain of five colleges educating nearly
10,000 students.

Suryam Telugu Movie
Plot
Suryam (Vishnu) is very fond of her mother (Jhansi), who died in a mishap. He grows up having the fond memories of her mother while serving sentence in juvenile jail for a murder he did not commit. His aim in life is to fulfill the last wish of his mother. That is to make sure that his childhood neighbor Swati (Veda) becomes doctor.
After getting released from the jail, he continues doing contract works of hurting good people for money in order to sponsor Swati's studies. On one such occasion, he goes to jail on the charges of a car accident case so that Madhu (Celina Jaitley) the real person who committed it could be saved. He charges some money for that. Madhu comes to know about this incident and Suryam's flashback. She falls in love with him and decides to change him for good. Since his responsibility of making Swati a doctor is realized, Suryam wants to become a good man. He starts doing things that help the society. In one such incident, he beats up the father of Madhu (Mukesh Rushi). Madhu's father is popular political leader and local don. The rest of the story is about how Madhu's father reacts after realizing that his daughter is in love with a guy who has beaten him up very badly.

Plot
Vithal (Mohan Babu) is a rowdy who commands respect from state heads like CM. He hates women and remains a bachelor even at the age of 45. Kaveri (Charmme Kaur) is a naughty college student. She grabs the attention of Vithal and makes him fall in love with her. She does it for fun, though she is in a love with another guy (Abbas). Vithal proposes her, but she could not say no to him due to fear. The rest is all about how all ends well.
