Plot

Dasu (Ravi Teja) is the son of a counterfeit racketeer (Kota Srinivasa Rao). As his father goes to jail, Dasu becomes an orphan. He stops his education at 10th class and moves like a vagabond. On the other side, there is a smuggler who used to smuggle drugs and arms into the country. But an honest police officer (Prakash Raj) hatches a plan and sends one informer (Raja Ravindra) into their underworld. He stays with them for sometime and passes on information to the police, with the help of which the police were able to bust the smugglers team, though not the kingpin. The don's assistant, who was also a lawyer advises him to play the same trick and admit one of their henchmen into the police to get information from the reverse side. However, he should not be in police records but should be crooked and cunning. The smugglers team's search ends with Dasu. The group threatens Dasu and make him to play like a puppet in their hands. In order to push him inside the police department, he should at least pass tenth class. So, they admit him in a school, where he falls in love with a teacher Nakshatra (Ileana D'Cruz). However, she doesn't like him as he neither has good education nor good looks. After a few incidents, the don's right hand i.e., the lawyer tells Dasu to study well and become a police officer to win her love. Admitting the idea, Dasu turns a good student and gets through the exam. Later, he becomes a constable and gets posted in traffic. The smugglers unit hatches another plan and succeeds in pushing him in the crime police. After watching Dasu as a sincere police constable, Nakshatra too starts liking him. Soon, in a turn of events, Nakshatra's brother, who was a police informer, gets killed in the hands of Dasu at the behest of the don. She chides Dasu and starts hating him. Dasu starts disliking his job as he became a police officer only to win her love. As he lost her love, Dasu turns against the don and finally kills him. Nakshatra learns from the lawyer that her brother actually died in the hands of the don, she reunites with Dasu and the film ends on a happy note.

Plot

Kalyan (Ravi Teja) is a guy who loves challenges and cannot live without getting a "kick" out of doing things. For example, he drinks milk before bed but only after sniffing whiskey because that's doing it with a "kick."

He falls in love with Naina (Ileana D'Cruz) for a "kick," but she leaves him after Kalyan lies about his job (he joins a job and resigns after four days). He is also supported by his father (Sayaji Shinde), who believes in his lifestyle.

Naina goes to Malaysia after this ordeal, where her father fixes her marriage with a tough cop kalyan krishna(shaam). However, Kalyan Krishna has a mission. He is there to catch a notorious thief (Ravi Teja) who has been stealing money from rich people in India, and got away with it.

There is a comedy arc as a love triangle starts between Kalyan Krishna, Naina and Kalyan.

Plot

The city of Hyderabad is rife with the nefarious activities of land mafia. There are two rival gangs; one under Ali Bhai (Prakash Raj) who resides in Dubai and controls the operation through his siblings Ajju and Mona, and another operated by local goon Narayan. Both threaten builders and land owners into giving them protection money or property, through force, extortion or murder. Sayed (Sayaji Shinde) arrives as the new Commissioner of Hyderabad and starts cracking down on crime.

Pandu (Mahesh Babu), a thug, is abducted by Mallesh, a member of Ali's gang and his henchmen. Pandu has taken a contract from Narayan to beat up Mallesh, which he does. Ajju invites Pandu to join Ali Bhai's gang. Pandu declines stating that he does not work for any gang, but is ready to do anything given enough money. Pandu falls in love with Shruthi when he visits his cousin's (Ajay) aerobics class, but she mistakes him for a thug. Shruthi, a college student, lives with her widowed mother and younger brother. Bramhi (Brahmanandam) lives above Shruthi's house, and frequently tries to convince Shruthi to marry him. Sub inspector Pashupathy (Ashish Vidyarthi), is a corrupt officer in the colony where Pandu and Shruthi live who often works with the land mafia. He is also on the payroll of Ali Bhai. He falls for Shruthi and decides to make her his mistress, even after multiple rejections by Shruthi.

Pandu's first assignment with Ali's gang is to kill a member of Narayan's band. However, police show up at the spot where Pandu and the other gangsters are waiting. Pandu engages the cops long enough for the others to finish the task and flee. He also helps Shruthi escape from Pashupathy. She is impressed by his kindness and friendship soon blossoms between the two, leading to the development of unspoken romantic feelings for each other. When Shruthi tries to expresses her feelings they are attacked by members of Narayan's gang, whom Pandu finishes off. Shruthi is shocked to learn that Pandu is a gangster with no qualms about killing people.

Pashupathy arranges for some thugs to pretend to rape Shruthi, so that no decent family will want to take her as their daughter-in-law; with no other option Shruthi and her mother will accept his demands. Pandu learns of this and assaults Pashupathy incognito, warning him that if he is found responsible for this incident then things will turn ugly for him. After much ado and mental anguish, Shruthi accepts Pandu.

Ali Bhai comes to Hyderabad and kills Narayan. He also meets Pandu to discuss the killing of a minister by blowing up a balloon. Pandu disagrees with Ali Bhai's method as it would involve killing innocents. In the middle of their argument police raid the club and arrest Ali Bhai. His gang members retaliate by creating a lewd video of the police commissioner's daughter and releasing it to media. They also kidnap her, forcing the police to release Ali Bhai. Ali Bhai drugs the commissioner's daughter, causing her to reveal that her father placed a mole in Ali Bhai's gang. They find that Pandu's friends father Suryanarayan was a police inspector and the inspector's son, Krishna, is now a part of Pandu's gang. Ali Bhai kills Krishna in front of Suryanaraya. However, it is revealed that the person who died was actually Ajay. The actual son of the retired inspector is Pandu whose real name is Krishna Manohar. His father explains that Krishna was a Gold Medalist,of IPS Batch No 57 and has been masquerading as a corrupt mafia to penetrate the underworld gangs and wipe them out from the inside by being an Undercover agent. Ali Bhai kills Suryanaraya and goes away

Later Shruthi, Ali Bhai and his gang get to that Krishna Manohar is Pandu.

Krishna Manohar then avenges his father's death by finishing off all members of Ali Bhai's gang including Ali Bhai and Pasupathy and saves Commissioners daughter.

Devadasu (Telugu: దేవదాసు) ( Dubbed in malayalam as Devdas also remade in Bengali as Paglu ) is a Tollywood film that released on 11 January 2006 and was directed and produced by YVS Chowdary. Debutants Ram and Ileana D'Cruz play the main leads while Sayaji Shinde plays the negative role. Indian actress Shriya Saran sizzles the audience with an item number.This film also won 2 Filmfare Awards South. This film was both Ram's and Ileana D'Cruz's debut film as artists.The movie was remade into Bengali movie Paglu (2011).

Plot

Devadas (Ram) is the typical poor student, while Bhanumati (Ileana) is a rich NRI girl whose father is the senator of New York. They fall in love when the girl comes to India to learn classical Carnatic music. Coming to know about their love, Bhanu’s father Katamraju (Sayaji Shinde) hatches a plan to separate them. He promises to get them married but he takes her daughter, and her grand mother back to the USA. The rest of the story is how the street-smart lover boy makes it to the USA and succeeds in attaining his girl.

Julayi (Telugu: జులాయి) is an upcoming Telugu film written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film stars Allu Arjun, Ileana D'Cruz and Rajendra Prasad in lead roles. The film is being produced by S. Radha Krishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations Banner and is being presented by D.V.V. Danayya. The soundtrack will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who previously worked with Trivikram for Jalsa. The film was officially launched on 2 November 2011 at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. Regular filming began on 14 November 2011. The film will be dubbed in Malayalam and simultaneously released alongside Telugu version as Gajapokkiri. Julayi is scheduled to release on June 2012.

Jadoo

Kedi is a 2006 Indian Tamil film written and directed by Jyothi Krishna, who earlier directed the 2004 Tamil film Enakku 20 Unakku 18. Starring his brother Ravi Krishna in the lead role, the film marks the Kollywood debut of the female artists Ileana and Tamanna Bhatia, whilst Ramesh Khanna, Atul Kulkarni, Adithya, M. S. Baskar and Suman Setty essayed supporting roles in the film. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film released on 24 September 2006 and was later dubbed into Telugu and released as Jadoo.

Plot

Raghu (Ravi Krishna) is a happy-go-lucky youngster, who is not serious about his studies or life. He has a great time in college playing pranks with fellow students. His dad (M.S.Baskar) dotes on him and so does his close friends (Suman Shetty & gang). A new girl Priyanka (Tamanna) joins his class and she is the sister of Pukazhenthi (Atul Kulkarni) a powerful gangster turned Minister. Priyanka is born with the silver spoon and the college gets a face lift as her class room is fitted with air conditioner and the canteen gets a hip look.
Priyanka even manages to change the Principal using her brother’s influence and she hates the sight of Raghu whom she considers a creep. Aarthi (Ileana) a maid’s daughter studies in the same class and she has a secret admiration towards Raghu. Seeing the way in which Priyanka treats him, Aarthi gives moral support and motivates Raghu to come above Priyanka who is an all-rounder and best student in the university. This infuriates Priyanka who slowly “wants” Raghu at any cost.
Priyanka comes to know about Raghu love towards Aarthi and she tries everything possible to separate them. Pukazhenthi will go to any extreme costs to make Raghu marry his sister. he makes Arthi mad by first electrifing her , but she turns normal on seeing raghu but goes back as she sees raghu get shot.In the end Aarthi goes mental which enrages Raghu who vows revenge on Priyanka, he pretends to accept the marriage and marries Aarthi in the last minute. Raghu comes to know that Priyanka even murdered her brother in order to live with Raghu. The film ends with Priyanka killing herself and Raghu burying Aarthi's chain at Priyanka's grave.

Ileana D'Cruz

Ileana D'Cruz (born 1 November ) is an Indian film actress, who predominantly appears in Telugu cinema. Starting her career as a model, she made her feature film debut in Y. V. S. Chowdhary's 2006 Telugu film Devadasu. She went on to appear in commercially successful ventures Pokiri (2006), Jalsa (2008) and Kick (2009), establishing herself as one of Telugu cinema's leading actresses. D'Cruz made her Kollywood debut earlier in 2006 with Kedi and made a comeback in Shankar's Nanban (2012). In 2012, she is set to make debut in Bollywood as well.
Ileana was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra as the second child to her parents Ronaldo and Samira.She has three siblings—older sister Farrah, younger brother Rhys and youngest sister Eileen. Her first name comes from Greek mythology.While growing up, she lived in Goa for about seven years.

During that time, the manager of the hotel her mother was working in, suggested that she should start modelling and fixed a meeting with Marc Robinson. Though initially reluctant, she was persuaded and her first portfolio was created in January 2003, which she described as a "disaster". She began gaining notice through photo shoots and ramp shows and her second portfolio was set up the following year, which landed her three advertisements from Electrolux, Emami Talc and Fair and Lovely. The latter, in particular, which was directed by Rakesh Roshan, gave her exposure and brought in several offers for acting in feature films.

Early career

In 2005, D'Cruz was called for an audition by director Teja, but the project was cancelled.[8] She instead made her feature film debut in the Telugu language romance film Devadasu (2006), directed by Y. V. S. Chowdhary. She underwent acting classes with Aruna Bhikshu, before starting to work on the film. She recalls that during filming she felt "pressured [...] almost cried and didn't want to go further", but went ahead after her mother encouraged her, giving her "the lecture of a lifetime [...] at 3 am." Upon release, critics were in praise of Ileana, particularly referring to her physique and looks; Jeevi of Idlebrain wrote that Ileana "makes a cool debut. She is good at histrionics and has a fabulous body any woman would love to possess. She has great legs and nice physique", while a review from Indiaglitz noted that she "has chiseled features and a figure to die-for." Devadasu, which also marked its lead actor Ram's acting debut, became the year's first major commercial success, eventually grossing around INR 14 crores, whilst earning Ileana the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debutant. She next appeared opposite Mahesh Babu in the action flick Pokiri in which she portrayed an aerobics teacher, who is harassed by a corrupt police officer. The film was a huge financial success, emerging the highest-grossing Telugu film of all time until then, as well as Ileana's biggest commercial success.

Later that year, she made her Tamil-language film debut in Kedi (2006). Although the film did not do so well at the box-office, D'Cruz remained too busy to accept all the film roles offered to her. Her Telugu film Khatarnak (2006) in which she acted opposite Ravi Teja did not do as well as expected, which has been attributed to her glamorous appearance not going down well with the audience. She subsequently experienced a setback in her career as her following releases Rakhi (2006) and Munna (2007) proved critically and financially unsuccessful.

Breakthrough

D'Cruz's career took a turn for the better with the release of her well-received 2007 film Aata, acting opposite Siddharth. She received favorable reviews for her performance as Satya, a college student who is on the run from the home minister's crooked son by whom she is targeted, when leading a protest and demanding punishment for his crimes. Idlebrain described her as "gorgeous" and a "treat to watch to the eyes". In 2008, she performed a lead role opposite Pawan Kalyan in Jalsa, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. In spite of opening to mixed reviews, the film turned out to become a high financial success. Ileana received largely positive remarks, with critics citing that she looked "pretty", "damn cool", and "every bit chic and stunning throughout the film", while being later awarded the Santosham Award, one of five awards for Jalsa, and the South Scope Style Award, besides garnering a nomination for the Best Actress prize at the 56th Filmfare Awards South. Her first 2009 release, titled Kick, was likewise declared a box office success, becoming one of the highest-grossing films that year. Later that year she starred in the films Rechipo and Y. V. S. Choudary's Saleem alongside Vishnu Manchu, both of which performed poorly at the box office. Huduga Hudugi, her first Kannada film, became her only 2010 release; it featured her in an item number named after her.

Ileana then essayed the female lead role in Shakti, opposite Jr. NTR, which whom she worked earlier in Rakhi. The high-budget socio-fantasy film was panned by critics and became a commercial failure. She later admitted that the film was a "big disaster" and did not promote the film, citing that the film's script had been changed during the shooting and that she could not "connect to the story". Her next release was Nenu Naa Rakshasi, which marked her second collaboration with Puri Jagannadh, following the success of Pokiri. Her performance was received positively by critics; an Indiaglitz reviewer described her as a "pleasant surprise in the film" as she "cried, smirked, looked hot, grabbed sympathy and made faces that were apt to the scenes", while cinegoer's reviewer cited that the film had "one bright spot, Ileana, she looks stunning and also like an accomplished senior to the hero." In 2012 she starred in her second Tamil venture, S. Shankar's Nanban opposite Vijay. A remake of the hugely successful and acclaimed 2009 Hindi film 3 Idiots, Ileana essayed the character originally played by Kareena Kapoor. The film likewise opened to critical acclaim and became a financial success. She would make her Hindi debut with the Anurag Basu directorial Barfee, as the role of a narrator starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles.

Plot

The movie starts with Saleem (Vishnu Manchu) beating up baddies in a village to save her love interest Priya (Ileana). A big flashback is there for him, He is the world's most wanted gangster. Plot

The story begins when Ramu, having ditched yet another job interview, coming home to his angry father. His father berates him, and in the process, Ramu reveals that he does not want an "Udyogam", rather, he want to do "vyapaaram" (he wants to do business rather than have a job). After his father vehemently rejects the idea, he runs away from home at night.

On the other hand, Jyothi wants to be a model, and make her big debut in a beauty pageant in the city. She tells this to her mother and father, but her grandmother, the head of the house says a strong no, and she has already fixed for a potential suitor to Jyothi to come to the house the next day. Jyothi refuses, but her grandmother ignores her, and her parents are helpless. In order to make her dream come true, she runs away at night, and boards a train, the same one Ramu happens to be on.

On the train, a stranger offers them biscuits, which Ramu accepts. He awakes to find his luggage gone. While complaining to an officer, he meets Jyothi, whose luggage was also stolen. The officer promises to help them, and takes whatever money they have with him as a service fee. They later realize that the man was a dupe, and that they now have absolutely no money. They part to separate ways.

Ramu attempts to pawn his ring, but is paid less than what he paid for it. Jyothi goes to the beauty contest, but is sent away because she doesn't have an admission ticket. A contest official sees her and makes an offer to her, be in the pageant in exchange for a night with her. Startled by the cheapness of the industry, she insults the official and leaves. As night falls she finds herself back at the train station, where she meets Ramu again, and together, they begin their lives of crime.
